...But no toilet paper. Clearly, your grocery list is more of a Grocery Missed. In which the word "missed" is taken to mean "totally forgot the most essential commodity since air itself."

Oh, you might need some of that air, too, if you hail from Phobos...

And please don't tell me that you're gonna use the palm tree as toilet paper instead. I don't think I could handle it.

Don't say any of the other stuff is either. *shudder*

What are you suggesting I need to breath air? If I had gloves I would slap you with them and challenge you to a duel at high noon, eastern standard time! And if my dueling palm tree arrives here I will use that!

Also I use monopoly money for toilet paper
Here are other things I enjoy doing with said (completely legitimate!) currency:
    ~ Smoking it
    ~ Eating it
    ~ Sleeping in it
~ Paying ridiculous sums I could not possibly afford
~ Going for long walks on moonlight beaches

Very well... So it's palm trees, is it? Capital. They don't call me the Palm Pirate for nothing!

I forget why they do call me such, but I assure you it's not for nothing. Have at thee!

I suppose one could do worse than Monopoly money.

Life is like a vacuum cleaner

No matter how cool and shiny it is, it is still going to suck.

Life is like a bowl of gravy

    You always get your lumps

Life is like a pair of sneakers

At first it is all pretty cool, but then it just gets old and smells bad

Life is like a stick of celery...

No wait...I hate celery. That crap is really nasty. I mean how can something that gross come out of the ground. It's like eating a stick of windex mixed with cheap and noxious gin and liberally mixed with yard clippings just to add that special squeaky green taste. And don't get me started on gin, that stuff is gross too. It's main flavoring is juniper, thats right, a dang pine tree. So think about that the next time you bottoms up a martini. Youre sucking down frickin pine sap flavored booze.

    Life is like a rant

When it is really starting to go good, you die.

A RAT gave scientists the runaround for 18 weeks after they released it on a small New Zealand island.

Ratty was fitted with a radio collar and set free on the uninhabited Motuhoropapa island, the team reported in Nature. After four weeks of study, they decided to pull him in. They used trained dogs and three kinds of traps, laying twice as many as they used to kill entire populations. Ten weeks later, the scientists lost his signal.

He was tracked down on Otata island, a 400m swim away. Sadly, his great escape came to a downbeat end — after scientists had tried nine methods to kill him, they ended his 18 weeks of freedom using a trap baited with penguin meat.

New Zealand scientists are expert rat catchers. Recently a team turned up on the island of Canna, in the Inner Hebrides, to eliminate 10,000 of them. But single invaders roam widely in the search for mates and have so much food that they ignore traps.

“Our findings confirm that eliminating a single invading rat is disproportionately difficult,” says the team.

But James Russell and his colleagues at the University of Auckland say that their findings could have implications for conservation on protected islands. If there are small numbers, the rat catchers need to be cleverer than the rats.

Who here's a Radiohead fan? This song basically describes my life for the past four months...

    When you were here before,
couldn't look you in the eye.
    You're just like an angel,
    your skin makes me cry.
    You float like a feather,
    in a beautiful world
    I wish I was special,
    you're so fucking special.

    But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo.
What the hell am I doing here?
    I don't belong here.

I don't care if it hurts,
    I want to have control.
    I want a perfect body,
    I want a perfect soul.
    I want you to notice,
    when I'm not around.
    You're so fucking special,
    I wish I was special.

    She's running out again...
She's running out, she runs, runs, runs, runs... runs...

    Whatever makes you happy
    Whatever you want

I am in a quandary: I don't want to cut too deep into my esoteric collection... This is, after all, only the opening rounds of the game. However, if I pick something too easy... Anyway, this might strike the balance, cuz' it's one of the more obscure songs, but I dunno'. ;)
