    1. I don't care if you don't want a reply, you're getting one.
    2. I don't take orders from anyone.
    3. I have been rude but I have never threatened Alec. That is just a lie. He is using you to eliminate people he doesn't like.
    4. If you ban me now it will be on only suspiscion, and that suspiscion is based on a lie. If you do so I will take action.

    Please reply your comments, we should discuss this, not lash out at each other.

    well, the e-mail itself is simply ridiculous, and does not require discussion, imho.

    As for DL himself, I for one am changing my opinion. I thought he was a funny distraction, but have since realized that he's a putz, who does not deserve to be here.

    I believe Murometz hit the nail on the head here. Problem is I can't seem to find a golden "ban" button. Do any of you guys have such a button? I do have a "delete member" button, but that is harsh.

    Too much time and effort has been applied to this man. Nuke the account.  Ban the IP if you can. Sure he will make another one. And he will either be "good" or get himself banned again.

    And why does he love the site?  He really does not do anything here except enjoy our undermoderated flash chat.   He and his friends can go annoy another site.

    Oh and if he didn't do it, someone with his account did. Thus he needs to a) never save a password on his system and b) never give it to someone else.

    Rude is rude, admins just give you the power to act on it but I wouldn't stand for any of it regardless of 'known status.'

    I am confused about the rest since his sentences lack a logical flow of thought. Stream of conscienceness it seems with no point that I can see. I have no idea what his complaint is... Does he not like the Prime Ribs? If it would make him happy we can change that to whatever he wants, who cares?

    I am back now and will start to get into the site again.

    I think he feels that the "Chuckanator does it again" and "Chuckanator's Prime Ribs" threads are demeaning. He HAS conformed to our rules now and perhaps it was for the better that we just moved those threads into the garbage? I think I will...

    As Admins and Moderators, I think we should be visible, and for the most part I think we are. I also think that in addition to being the castle guard of the Citadel, we should also be a tad more diplomatic when dealing with members. It might have been the entire conflict with Dark-Lord, but I've noticed a bit of antagonism, and general snippy-ness about lately.

    I think one of the things we Admins should be doing is encouraging new members and helping them, not just blasting spam and working on our own projects. It can be easy to forget that not every member of the site is a 10 year veteran of gaming.

    In the continued quest for relativity and usefulness....

    The + and - on each comment. Not being used.

    How about if it does not count against the voting tally at all. Still track 1 vote per person per comment/scroll, but you can vote on all the comments in one day if you wished.

    -It might get used finally
    -People still gain and lose XP for their comments and will actually get extra XP for comments finally. And some of the scrolls will get the well deserved XP.
    -If it is finally used enough then we can put a -5 limit or something so that anything with that low of a score doesn't show up. Members can get rid of crappy posts that are above the delete limit.

    Also, comments with low votes could be written with a small font. I would be careful with users deleting comments at first, though - because if it's not seen it's practically deleted. But it sounds interesting...

    Not deleted, just not shown. Perhaps the threshold can be set in the user control panel area. Anything with -__ or more is not shown, user adjusted. I think slashdot has something like that, although I don't have an account so don't know how exactly theirs works.

    At first I thought a tee for every citadelian! Then I thought, a tee for the admins and Quest winners. Then I thought, wait...how do you make the Quests *superspecial*? I know!! Only Quest winners get free, original, eventually copy-righted, high-grade, Strolen.Com Tee-shirts!!!

    Who wouldnt want to enter and win for chrissakes? Who in their right mind would NOT want a Strolen Tee!!??

    More and more people will jump over to the main citadel and more and more submissions will be written, not to mention the wonderful competiton, and so forth and so on, and BWAHAHAHA...eerghh..ok I'm calm again.

    So to answer your question, only Quest Winners win the coveted prize! 2 per Quest! (although there can be as many quests a year as you like!  :D

    Eventually ( 07') I will be producing shirts for ALL!!! There will be 5-6 designs to choose from, available to one and all, short or longsleeve, etc...

    But for now, 2 people and two people only  get T's (Quest Winners) longsleeve, sepia, gray, strolen.com on breast pocket in a circle, "my dungeon is....." on arm.

    Am I just confusing you further?  :P

    Guilty as charged. Problem is I think I would do the same over and over again. The way Chuckanator replied and behaved irritated me to no end. Perhaps I am unfit to be an administrator. I dunno. I just loathe bad behaviour to such a degree it makes me behave badly. (As has been evident with Greccio in the past and now with Chucky).

    As for snippy... Well, yes true of me, but do keep a mirror handy young Texan. ;)

    AAAAANNNNNDDDDD, they blocked the site so I can't get to it at work anymore. Frick'n air force.

    I asked and they said scheduled maintenance. fsck...again. Wish they would schedule it with me.

    I am sick of scheduled maintenance and I think I will look for yet another host. With the donations I can up it a little bit for a better server that will allow us more up time.

    Can you use a public proxy or something to bypass this?
