Firstly, you're incompetence in the realm of spelling.  Know is either spelled with out a 'w', or with the 'w' and with a 'k'.  Now is not know.  You also wrote 'corse', I looked it up, because I didn't know any words were spelled like that, and I found out it's an archaic form of the more common 'corpse.'  Now on to your grammar, which is almost as bad as your spelling.  Then is used primarily to demonstrate the passage of time, rather than as an aid for comparing or linking together two ideas.  Also, your second sentance, of two, is a fragment, and as such really isn't a sentance, ir could go at the bigging of the post and be correct.  If you did put it there, you could've fixed another of your problems, the lack of capitalization at the beginning.  I'm sure there's more, but I'm just a high school student in Florida, which I can tell you right now isn't one of the highest ranked states as far as education goes.  But I understand that some people might have English as a second language, or be four years old, but I can assume that if they're worrying about the US execution system, that they're neither of those.  :D

Sorry, that was the point people were yelling at me to hurry up and get off.  "ir" should in fact be it.  But I do believe that my point still stands.  Maybe... Or not.

    The Ballad of Dujek

    Concussion severe,
    Deaf in one ear.
    Eye drooled a puddle,
    Speech slurred and muddled
The mage’s face looked quite like tripe
    His ear, red cauliflower ripe

    Chorus:
His jaw swung right, his jaw swung left
The side of his head was dented and cleft.
His jaw swung left, his jaw swung right
He never shirked before a fight

He sneezed up blood, he vomited brain
His skull was nearly cleft in twane

He rued the night he spied the gnolls
Upon the damp and grassy knolls.

His hands did tremble, his body did shake
He would never again feel wide-awake.

    Chorus:
His jaw swung right, his jaw swung left
The side of his head was dented and cleft.
His jaw swung left, his jaw swung right
He never shirked before a fight

    Hey, innkeeper!

Give me a jug of ale and a hot meal of whatever you got cooking today! Give a tired wanderer a place to rest and I promise you my copper is as good as any.

Cooking? Don't get me started! I had to do my final for cuinary essentials or whatever the hell that class is ctually called. It involved lots of wasted money and photos. Photos of me grocery shopping.
If I ever have kids, remind me to keep them away from public school. this stuff is just plain rediculous! (and not in a good way)

I remember taking a cooking class in middle school. somebody cut the cord on one of the blenders when the teacher left the room (mind you it was still plugged in.) and i have never seen anything so cool as a pair of scissors exploding. it was like "POP!!" and the scissors went "CRACK!" and they blew apart and went "SSSSSHHHH!!" along the floor in opposite directions and the guy was like "OW MY HAND!!" and we were all like "That was super sweet." and then the teacher came in and she was like "(insert godzilla noise here)" and we were all like "(insert sound of frightened japanese screaming and yelling 'godzilla')"
and there was another time where the bordom of waiting for cookies to bake sent us into a moistened paper towel battle. as most people know, when paper towel is balled up and sufficiently wettened it behaves in a manner similer to a giant spitball, sticking to walls, ceilings, and classmate's faces. when the lookout informed us of the tyrant's return we quickly ceased our battle and buried the evidence into the trash recepticles, though we had forgotten the ordnance stuck to the ceiling right above the doorway, where the matriarch stopped to see our angelic faces. The room of young students prayed to their dieties for proper suction of the hand tissue to the plafond. with one droplet of liquid the tyrant looked skyward and the students were doomed to the after school prison of detention.

tell me about it, STROLEN kept senting my posts somewhere else. him and his buds must have some master computer or maybe they just made the site in a way to do what ever they want...

The site is created in our collective image and you have not being assimilated...yet. You keep polluting other threads with your meaninglessness and it angers the collective. Your dribble will continue to be destroyed as it invades our space.

Well, spitballs are cool, but rocket propelled paper towels are better. As to the system, I have yet to find any errors, at least, now in the site. Some people just can't spell rite!

and i've been out of valid English classes (and speaking to a british person) for so long that my grammar and usage, along with proper sentance structure, has drastically deteriorated.

Speaking of english, What's up with Semi-colons? I mean, they're neither a commas, nor a colons! Actually, I've never met anyone who knew how to use them properly, and never been taught how to myself. One of my most deep rooted grammatical fears is that someday, somehow, I will need to use a semi-colon.
  21. Re: Re: The Call of Captain-thulhu part 3

    #301
    I can use semicolons.
  22. Re: Re: The Call of Captain-thulhu part 3

    #302
A semicolon has two uses, as far as I can figure.  I serves as a great winking eye when you're online, and it can be used to link two complete sentances without a conjunction.

    Conjunction Junction, what's your function...
  23. Re: Re: The Call of Captain-thulhu part 3

    #303
Semi-colons are actually quite difficult to use; I know how, but not quite sure is I remember correctly.

    They; aren't really; that hard;; to use; I don't have mu;ch issue with using them; since the ru;les are fairly easy.';

Lo, the Mace of Immanence rose into the sky, and the faces of the canaille were made afraid for in it's luminous disc they saw their own demise made manifest. And the mace stayed in the heavens, and did not move, yet there was still fear, for it was known what word would call it from it's heavenly see to come crashing to the firmament.

Speak thee wisely, for if thou art impudent and brash of tongue, the Mace shall surely fall and the name of it's fall is called Ruin...

Fergie says Grey Goose got your girl feelin loose...

Beer is fine and dandy, I prefer Rolling Rock, Shiner Bock, and Heineken myself, but tequila is both quicker and more fun. Plus it is easier to get chicks to do shots of tequila than it is to get them to shotgun beers, especially when you are wanting to taser them for the next viral video for your youTube collection.
