#161rrru1987 put a multi-link spam into creative collaboration. Viagra was one of the items being hawked.
Deleted.

Re: Admin Chatter
#164User yuzhongqqq321 has just posted a nice spam post in the forums, something about Nike T-Shirts and stuff. It is moved into the Deleted Posts now.
(Hey, Scras: with obvious spam like this, you don't need to vote for deletion - you can perform it in this way.)
Special thanks to Dozus for alerting about this! -
Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#165Oops, he did it again...
Thread moved as tradition commands. I vote now, but for the deletion of the USER. -
Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING

#168I will miss you yuzhongqqqqqqq321. You're not as fun as 320 was but still. -

I still think Warhammer is way better then WoW but the numbers do not seem to show it. I wonder if it is because Warhammer does not seem to be advertised as much as Warcraft.

#172I have to admit, props to the guy who actually did that one. It was much better than your normal random plug. -
Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#173I like the comment of this guy, but I'm not sure I like the tagline of his post:

What about that? -
Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#174Not a huge fan, but he followed all the rules and it is sort of applicable to the thread.

This little paragraph tells about golds. It signifies gold as a curse. In some other way golds are in evils. http://www.ronpaulforpresident2008.com/blog/node/100#comment-73

Back to jack23451 - can we change his signature then?
And what about this guy?
That yuzhong321 fella seems to agree with every Strolenite hot shot there is. So far I've spotted him agree with Kevin Cook and MoonHunter. As long as he can spam some, he seems content to agree with everyone.

#178Deleted huge list of attempted linkage from a BH post...
Lots of nasty stuff. Gone now.

Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#179ddddyyyy is another spammer.
I'm getting pretty suspicous of obvious iterated names. This guy above is the same as yuzhong321 I beleive.
How many of our real members use somerandomstring999 format usernames?

Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING

#181More BH stuff trimmed from The Word Challenge.
I seem to be trimming 1-2 spam inserts/day.

Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#182ddddyyyy is getting more and more agreeable:
I agree with Kevin Cook

Barring any objections, I will delete this 'user' in one day.
His IP (174.139.6.58) is the same as of yuzhong321 and the tragically deceased yuzhongqqq321.

Is there any way to limit the inclusion of links in this new forum? It is desired both in signatures and in general, but there are forums where you can only post links if you have made X posts before.
This can be also pretty darn annoying, so it should be properly discussed first. -
Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#183Can we ban that IP? I think we have enough evidence to summarily delete that account at the very least. -
Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#184First thing this new user did was post spam in old thread:

I guess that at this stage the glass can be shaped into a bead or other object. To apply patterns or other colors to either rod formed or core formed artifacts, glass of another color is attached to the rod, heated and then drawn out and around the object (in the case of spirals for example) or pressed onto the object (as in the case of circles or dots).

Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#186Users mady and kaathrin have posted a few spamlink articles. Some of them have been surprisingly cogent, so I've kept them just for the heck of it (feel free to axe them if you wish). The rest have been deleted.
I think they are asking to be deleted. Thoughts? -
Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#187Our newest user - sony222 - immediately spammed with completely inapplicable stuff.
So I deleted them and banned him(it).

Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#189Indeed. I have no patience for pure spam users.
-
Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#190Speaking of that, a new fellow from India has joined, and in the greetings post, admitted that was what he was here for.
I stripped his spam link from his signature - the posts he made are obviously just to stamp them with his signature that contains the spam.
Let me know if this is too agressive, but if he puts the spam back in his Sig, I'm going to ban him.

Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#194omega101 has posted a few non-sequitur posts around. I have left the one in the Cavern, since there seems to be an okay joke, the ones in user-created settings were removed ('Empire', not touched in a few years, which I guess was the point).
So I wonder, what kind of spammer is that? Maybe he's a keyword spammer, could be why he has 'omega1014real' in his signature. Left a reply in case he is an actual, human, confused being. -
Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#195Yeah, moved it from CPs threads to inane natter. Didn't want to laser blast it so quickly as I was just simply confused by the poll. -
Re: Zumba, Lada, Bugi, and other SPAMMING
#196softbull has posted a message with a spamlink, I have removed it from the post. (Feel free to axe it anyway.)
These guys/bots start to be annoying.

#197No objection from me, apart from the 24 hour grace period :) Those who spam on their first post will never mean well.
