In a time of need, that which is not needed by the needy will uneedily be kneaded into need and consumed by the masses.

It was a curse of an ancient civilization, long since dead when the cavemen were making femurs into clubs, it's memories ash as the Romans lifted their aqueducts, and barely more than a whisper as the first man stepped on the surface of a world not his own. Who were these titans among the stars?

The ship appeared, the herald of death and the banner-god of Armageddon, more than 14 kilometers long, it's surface pock marked and pitted with 30,000 years of space debris and sub atomic abrasion. The hull was a sickly rotted green color, of meat long spoiled, or verdegris of copper turned into sweating flesh, lights, nauseating green, strobing yellow and eye searing whites yet not white. It came, relentless as the Grim Reaper, hungry as the abyss.

Feeling I already know you a little better. Not seeing any references to horses however.

Put it in your signature (I don't care whether it was a pun or not, it is useful and creates a feel for *you*).

    Now in the news:
Syria has weapons of mass destruction (Israel claims to have photographies of a nuclear facility).

    Time to invade!

Next year we focus on Iran! They have WMDs too!

Here in Norway we're biting our fingernails, dreading that you discover our WMDs: The infamous tractor mounted sheepshead-nukes!

Based on recently uncovered information, (and an unfortunate slip-of-the-tongue by Norwegian Ambassador to the UN, AG) Norway now firmly finds itself in the axis of evil.

The Norwegian invasion has been scheduled for April 09'!!! Right after we bomb Luxembourg (its too small a country. It irks us), right before we sell Alaska to back to Russia (Putin has decided to make it his "Dacha")

    Olaf, get your guns!  :D

Actually Muro, Russia might be about to get away with blackmailing us into giving it back/selling it, thanks to their new 'Father of All Bombs' FAE. Most powerful weapon that is non-nuclear in nature. We couldn't get away with threatening to nuke the crap outta them, too many anti-nuke panzies around.

Built on the reliable Seabream medium range cruise missle, the Sheepshead is a medium range cruise missle with terrain following electronics, allowing the missle to literally lurk in valleys and behind ridges, hidden from tracking radars. The missles carries a low yield nuclear warhead, roughly 1 megaton in yield, and has an effective range of 600 miles. Norway is the primary importer of the Sheepshead system, having installed mobile batteries of the missle system on agricultural farm tractors.

Of course the Norweigans deny such claims, as does Denmark, Sicily, South Africa, Equador, Borneo, and Lesotho.

The Sheepshead, like the Seabream is principally manufactured in the US state of Florida. The warheads are covertly supplied by the UK government in exchange for new teeth to eat corn on the cob.

In a few years the Prophecies campaign is done. I must admit I am dreaming of freedom and resigning as a GM. I wonder if I can pull it off, or if the lure of creativity pulls me back to the desktop?

During the day, he is simply a mild-mannered Chemistry teacher, but at night, he dons his costume and sets out to fight crime as -

    The Titrator!

With his stock of strong and weak acids and bases, as well as his faithful sidekick Burette, he is an unstoppable force fighting for justice.

    Alternatives to roleplaying....
    hmmm....

    hmmm....

    hmmm....

    Okay...

    hmmm...

    - Hiking
    - Biking
    - Working more... nope
    - Partying
    - Poker
    - Advanced Squad Leader
    - Computer gaming

    Hmmmm...

Computer games can (rarely) be roleplay.
Poker involves bluffing, which is acting, which is similar to roleplay.
    and uhhhh....
    Hiking is roleplaying, too.
    Don't question it.
    You know I'm right.

And partying sometimes end up as foreplay, which kind of rhymes with roleplay. (I said "kind of")

But I think my midlife crisis is at an end. I will do... the GENRE SWAP!

Meaning I will do full time post apocalyptic sci-fi instead of part time. :)

The Call shall not go unheard!

    Totally random:
When I was working with communications and cryptography in the navy, I was stationed at an airbase (haha, it is true. I was a drydocked navy man). I always hated it when the airplanes landed, especially those Russian Tupolevs, because my bunk would shake and rattle and it felt like I had to grab a hold not to fall out.

This, however, is just insane: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hvh7KrW8jV0

    I hate cheapskates!

I hate it when I have to defend why I give tips at a restaurant. Some people are just unbelievable.

    I love pretty girls!

I love it when I am at a party, and there are pretty girls everywhere and there is no competition and they are leaning on me or aggressively indicating that they want me. It makes me feel alive!

    I hate sociopaths!

I hate it when people are incompetent at social interaction. NO! It is not alright that you sit in a corner by yourself, not making contact. You are at at PARTY damnit. Come to the rest of us. Talk with us. Smile... Unless there are lots of pretty girls in the room. Then you can sit in the corner!

I can honestly say if someone wants to sit in a corner at a party, and theres tons of hot girls, I'm happy. But on the subject of writing drunk, now I have an experiment to do... thanks... It should prove most entertaining.
