    NOON OF DAY 2
::Irinya sat with her back against a gnarled oak in the middle of the enchanted wood. A light breeze ran through the trees, waving the soft tall grass. None of them felt happy about what they had to do, but their stay in Sprigg had given them a sense of peace and ease. Fern sat against a tall birch, strumming his harp and Rode sat in the grass with his eyes closed. Tiny pixies danced around them, creating a warm glow. Irinya picked a bright yellow flower and smelled it. It was called *Ameri's Gold, and was known to be the sweetest smelling flower in all the world; most common in Sprigg. Suddenly, Irinya heard the distant trampling of hooves again. As she listened closer, she made out four hoofbeats, so it couldn't have been a Satyr or Faun, but must be either a Unicorn or a Centaur. The beats grew louder; they came closer. Soon Irinya and the others grew tense; fearing that the creature would trample right over them. They stood up, ready to flee. Soon, a bright flash dazzled in the distance. Irinya saw a Unicorn. Bright white, with the tail of a lion and beard of a goat, its hooves: silver, its eyes: dark, its spiraled horn: irridescent silver. They had all been about to run when the magnificent creature reared its head back and came to an abrupt halt right before them. It didn't even seem out of breath, and turned an eye in Irinya's direction. It appeared almost to smile at her, and gracefully walked over to her and lay humbly down at her feet. At first Irinya was confused, then Fern said, "That's right...Unicorns' weaknesses are maidens...especially magic-wielding maidens...go on then, try to talk to it...see what it wants." Irinya was surprised, and found she knew not what to say to a Unicorn. In the old days her people and many other races had been friends with the Unicorns, but now the creatures dwindled, and had mostly retreated to safety in Sprigg. Gathering all her courage, Irinya stammered, "G-Greetings, o-o gracious one...W-What is it you s-seek?" The beautiful creature looked up at her and said through mind-speech, 'Greetings to you, Seer Elf maiden. I seek your help, but we have little time for idle banter. Quick! On my back,' he rose, 'there is no time to lose!' Irinya shot an unsure glance at Fern and Rode, and quickly hopped up onto the Unicorn's back. In an instant they were off, rushing between trees, over little streams, through glades, for what seemed like hours. Irinya had slipped her arms around the creature's neck, holding on for her life. They sped on so fast Irinya felt like if she lost her hold she would surely fall off. Finally, they came to a large clearing on a hilltop. On the top were five beautifully strange Nymphs standing around another Nymph who seemed to be greatly ill. Irinya feared what they would want her to do. She doubted her own strengths in her new power, but would try her best. She hoped Fern and Rode could find them easily.::
    1:00 PM OF DAY 2

*Ameri was a beautiful Fae maiden in the old days whom many men wanted for a wife. She was said to have long golden hair, glowing skin, bright blue eyes, and golden wings. Also, whenever Ameri was near, people knew because of her sweet frangrance.

OOC: Oops. I'm sorry. I'll write now. I'm a little inspiration less now so sorry if it's lame.

Svyel's tiger slowly moved into the inn. The people who were in there looked with amazement and fright. The inn keeper was busy cleaning a few mugs and he just glanced up and said in a gruff voice "No animals." Svyel said in a low moan from amongst the fur "Mmm... Sorry." and he fell asleep again. The tiger just growled and flashed a couple of teeth. and strolled up to Morgandy and purred. This disturbed Svyel a bit and from the tigers back could just be heard. "Errr... shush..."

OOC: Do dee do....hmmm...Inspiration less, eh? Well, I guess I'll just keep supplying the story then.

::Morgandy rolled her eyes in irritation and looked at the dozing Svyel. She knew he was tired, and had done nothing wrong, but they had little time for his laziness. Morgandy gathered her courage and yelled, "Svyel! Please, get up now! We have little time for this so I suggest you deal with the tiger so we can all get some rooms! You can sleep later!" She huffed and puffed half from the surprise at herself for yelling (for she rarely yelled) and half from the yelling itself. She would apologize later but really, now they needed rooms so they could get on the road again by dawn.::

OOC: Okay sorry Luke and Morgandy. I hurry now.

Svyel lept up to attention and almost ran to the counter. "2... err... 2 room s for the night please." The inn keeper looked at Svyel with an odd grin on his face because of the scenario. After that he rummuged in a box and presented 2 keys. "ere ya go." and tossed them over the counter. Svyel took one and gave the other to Margandy. The inn keeper cleared his throught in that attention catching way. "Oh yes... Sorry." Came Svyel and paid up. He went to bed and the tiger slept at the foot of the bed.

OOC: Luke-I think its fine the way we're keeping track of time so precisely. In fact, it especially helps me for my book. It would make everything so much easier, so if you guys don't mind, I'd appreciate you still posting accurate times. Thanks! Svyel-Did the innkeeper suddenly decide it was okay for the tiger to stay in the inn or what? :? I'm confused. Could you try to post your motives more clearly? Thanks. Sorry if I'm being bossy, guys. I just want everything to run smoothly and clearly. :)

    1:00 A.M. OF DAY 2
::After they ate, the three weary travelers went up to their seperate rooms. They were all exhausted, and needed all the rest they could get before they had to wake up in only a few hours time and be off on the road again. As soon as Morgandy got in her room, she snuffed out the candle and tumbled onto the soft bed. Within minutes she fell asleep into a deep, dreamless sleep....Feanin went to his room, but did not go to sleep right away. His head was buzzing with anxiety and unanswered questions. He sat on the bed with his head in his hands. He had lately heard talk of the rising of a war; in which he was sure the Faes would participate. It was their tradition and duty. He might even have to fight, yet where would that put Morgandy? Would she fight also, or would the elders now forbid any woman to fight? In the old days was when the last war was, and there had been many woman fighters. Yet, with changing times, would it now be forbidden? Feanin also knew that the crystal was warping people's minds and intentions; like a curse. Fools would seek to steal it, and would do anything to get it for themselves. Whose side would who be on? Would one time friends and allies turn and fight against them? These questions and more buzzed in Feanin's brain till he thought himself to sleep.

    Meanwhile...

Irinya turned questioningly to the Unicorn. He nudged her towards the Nymphs. Slowly and warily, Irinya made her way to the top of the hill. The Nymphs looked on Irinya with pleading faces of desperation. They began to say things in a foreign tongue, but Irinya could tell they were asking her to help their ill friend. Just as Irinya was about to turn to the Unicorn for help, he came gracefully up beside her. A tall, greenish haired lady Nymph spoke to the Unicorn. In turn, the Unicorn translated the message to Irinya. "They say they want you to help their ill friend, that is if you don't mind," he translated. Irinya replied, "I am very willing to help, yet I doubt I know how to." The Unicorn translated back to the foreign tongue for the Nymph. She nodded and gave the Unicorn another message. He said, "They know you are an elf, and also know that all elves have hidden magics that they usually never find inside themselves.-It is true, for I am a Unicorn and know all things-You must reach inside yourself and try to find those magics. If yours are not for healing purposes, you must come with me to find the rare herb, Demelia, for medicine." Irinya was surprised by this message, but she knew that Unicorns did know all the mysteries of the world, and so it was true. However, Irinya hardly knew how to find the magics inside herself to begin with.::

OOC: OK how many days are you from Bonnyvale?

    9:00 AM DAY 3

Fiona had taken ill lately and Luke wasn't sure what was but a day or two after the parade the whole township looked to be in the grip of early winter, but it was still late summer. It was not that it was cold but the trees were all bear and dying, the omen had everyone in a dark mood. The day before the Fae ruling council had made a public annoucement of the march to war, everyone was set to go. Luke and Fiona had insisted that the army wait untill Morgandy was here, Luke had a deep feeling that she would be pivital in the coming war.

Luke had been comfortable in the township but fealt unlike himself he had a constant feeling of he missing something. Luke had realized that this morning that he hadn't praticed or meditated since... Luke didn't dwell on that thought but he desided to mend his ways. He had put a kettle on the fire and after a few minutes he made Fiona a cup of it and put out some orange fruit and bisquits.

Luke walked through the trees it was eerily quiet sunlight shone through the bare branches the trees had long lost all their full green leaves. A small shop laid across the road, it was a small weapon smithery. Luke entered and bid a good morning to the fae black smith. He was about to open his mouth to request the Fae make something for him then a glint caught his eyes. An old broad sword stood on two pegs in the corner, to everyone else it might have been a rusty old thing to the eyes of most but except for the old Fae smith and Luke who stood gazing at it. It was an imaculate creation, with a smooth organic handle and in the pommel laid a glittering diamond. The blade was made of a metal Luke did not know of but did not ask the smith it was wide, broad, straight, and narrowed to a deadly point at the tip.

"Ahh, you can see the brilliance of the blade too. You know it is said that it only reveals itself to those chosen by the gods to wield it. I require nothing of it nor any promises for if you can see it then the gods have put faith in you sir, and so I have faith in you." The Fae bowed his head and lifted it off the two pegs and handed to Luke. Luke recieved the sword from him, it was made perfectly for him, perfect balance and made no sound when he twirled it through the air. "How can you see it, sir if you do not wield it?" Luke asked with reverance.

"A story for another time, warrior, now you need to rejoin your companions and speed them here." The old Fae said.

Luke bowed low at his waist truly this Fae was a great prophet or maybe one of the gods indisguise, and to his shock when he straightened up the old Fae was gone and any trace of the his pressence was gone, except for the sword in Luke's hands.

"Promeatheaus." A faint voice whispered in the wind.

The Light Bringer a fitting name for the sword especially in this time of rising darkness. Luke for the first time in a long time felt confidence and reassurance. This time he would not fail.

Luke went back to house with the sword sheath in scabbard in his back, Fiona was still asleep so wrote a small note and said he'd be back in a day or two he was going out to recieve to his companions and give them an early welcome.

OOC: Umm... Luke are you in day 2 or 3. Were in 3 now.

    Day 3: +- 9 am.

Svyel awoke and jumped out of bed. This activity startled many of the tenants in the inn because it was immediatly followed by angry cat growls roaring and someone yelling as a few minor lacerations were inflicted upon Svyel. Turns out he awoke and jumped on the tiger sleeping below his bed. As Svyel walked into the main room of the inn he began to feel sad and lonely again. This pain had been chewing on him for some time. But he soon felt better as the tiger rubbed up against him purring. Many of the people in the inn looked disaprovingly at Svyal and his tiger and they kept there distance. Svyel tended to the bleeding of his arm.

Same Time but still Day 2!
::Morgandy awoke abruptly when she heard Svyel's racket. Immediately she rushed out of bed and threw on her cloak. She raced down to Svyel's room but he was already gone! Frantically she rushed downstairs and there he was, tending to a hurt arm. Morgandy was relieved to see him but gasped in horror at the sight of his arm. "Oh," she said, "That'll need some ointment and bandages too." Without another word she rushed to find the innkeeper and asked for some wound ointment and bandages. Promptly he found some and gave them to her. Morgandy hurried back to Svyel and began tending to his arm. Soon Feanin came down, looking sleepy. His brow furrowed as he saw Svyel's arm. "What's happened?" He said.

    1:20 PM OF DAY 2
Irinya again turned quizzically to the Unicorn, but it said nothing except, 'This is your destiny...You must search inside yourself for the magics...Trust your instincts...' Irinya knew she would get no more help, so she started off by closing her eyes; she thought this would probably protect her from distractions. Slowly she began to lose all connections with her surroundings or the outside world. She took her mind off of the journey and the wood and the Unicorn and the Nymphs and the Crystal and Fern and Rode...She thought only of the task at hand...She also began to not think of where she was standing, in the wood on the hard ground...She felt weightless, as if she was floating...She didn't think so much about her aching joints or wounds...She felt completely renewed and healthy...Soon Irinya lost track of time and space. She couldn't think of the outside world now even if she wanted to. Irinya felt like she was running down a long, dark tunnel. Much like the Great Northern Caves, except that there was little light and mist floated about in wisps. She was searching for something. Finally, after what seemed like hours just running and searching in a nameless place, she saw a light shining at the distant end of the tunnel. Somehow, she instinctively knew it was what she was trying to find. Irinya ran ever quicker towards the light. It came closer, and she ran faster than ever she could on earth. Finally she reached the light, and she came to a place where the light blinded her from all sides and she did not know where she was. Jubilant music played somewhere in the distance, and Irinya fell limply to the hard ground....Irinya woke not a moment later, back in the wood. The Nymphs (except the ill one of course), the Unicorn, and Fern and Rode stood around her, looking worried. For a moment Irinya forgot what happened. Then, suddenly everyone looked at her hands and looks of joy came over their faces. Irinya looked at her hands, and it all came back to her. The ill Nymph, her hidden magics, the long search within herself to find them, and the blinding light at the end of the tunnel. There, shimmering in her palms, were two misty green orbs of light. 'Those,' the Unicorn now said, 'are healing orbs. You, Irinya Elf of Hillanya, should be proud. You have the healing magics, and this means you care greatly for others. Now, to the task at hand.' Irinya was surprised, joyful, and amazed all at once; overwhelmed. She looked at Fern and Rode as she got up. "The Unicorn explained everything to us," Rode said. Irinya could only nod and smile. Then, everyone cleared away for her a path to where the ill Nymph lay near death on her bed of leaves.::

    Day2 9:30 am

Svyel grinned at the 2 faes. "I just stood on my tiger when I got up." He said to Faenin. The bleding stopped and Svyel began figgiting with some fruits and herbs in his bag which was next to him. "Granda Roots and Lysia leaves. Good for help at healing." Svyel pulled a fey odd looking plant bits out of the pouch and crushed liquid out of the roots into the wound. Then he applied the leaves onto the wound and the pain began to ebb. Svyel began to feel a bit hyper as this was a side affect of the herbs. The energy distracted him from the location and he felt the missing someone. She was not there. Svyel burst into tears and wailed for a bit. He gained control and was reduced to silent sobs.

Fiona awoke to an empty bed startled she felt around but Luke was gone, she opened her eyes and his things were still piled in the corner of the room. She breathed a sigh of relief. Fiona got out of bed and snaked into her robe before walking into the small kitchen, she sat down at the table and read Luke's note while she ate breakfast...

...it sounded like he'd be gone a day or more. She got changed and ready quickly and went about the daily business. Things were pretty dead in town, since most of the local men were part of the training carde, training to be fightrers in the coming fight.

Luke as soon as he was ourt of town stepped behind a huge oak tree. he waved a hand infront of his face and his features changed, he looked older, weaker. The Fae clothes on him changed to a grey worn robe. Luke murmmured something else a spell it sounded like. Out of blue sky rolled wavy, thick, mists that enveloped him. Luke felt dizzy for a second or two then as the mists cleared he stood before a small inn. He laid and knarled hand on the door knob and stepped in. Hidden from the eyes of Morgandy, Feanin, and Syvel he walked to the table close to the door and sat down. He ordered a drink from which he hardly touched but watched the group from hooded eyes.

::Morgandy watched as Svyel used the roots and plants. She stood back a bit, especially when his side effects hit. When Svyel began to sob Morgandy asked, "What's wrong? The plants medicines can't hurt that bad, can they?" She was confused but patted Svyel on the back. He had been having a rough time lately. Morgandy hoped they could find the mystery woman soon. She couldn't be too far. Morgandy and Feanin looked at each other and sighed. Out of the corner of her eye, Morgandy noticed an odd figure at a table near the door. It seemed to be an old man, garbed in a ratty gray cloak and with sallow skin. He was peering at them from hooded eyes. His unwavering gaze disturbed Morgandy, but she recognized something in his eyes. She turned away, ashamed for staring back. Turning to Feanin so their faces were hid she whispered, "Do you see that old man there sitting by the door? His gaze disturbs me, yet something about his eyes reminds me of someone." Feanin glanced quickly over his shoulder and whispered, "Yes, I see him. His gaze disturbs me too, yet I do recognize something in the eyes." For a few moments Morgandy and Feanin stood contemplating who this could be, till Morgandy nearly jumped with astonishment. "Feanin," she whispered excitedly, "it's Luke! I recognize the eyes now, and his features are the same, just looking as he would be at an old age! He's thrown a glamour over himself. It's not really an old man."
Feanin glanced back at the figure for a moment and nodded saying, "It's true, I recognize him too. What should we do?" Morgandy thought for a moment, then said, "I have an idea, come with me." She grabbed Feanin's hand and smiled mischieviously. Morgandy walked to the figure, leading Feanin. When they reached him, Morgandy said, disguising Luke's true identity, "So we meet again, 'old' friend."::

The old man bowed his head to Morgandy, "It's good you saw through my disguise, otherwise I think you might to be weak for what it to come, but you are only partialy right." The old man stood up and in a flash of gleaming light Luke stood there, but not the Luke that was with them before the events at Yuna's lair. His hair gleamed platnium white, his eyes had a sharp glint in them that replaced the tired far off look. His face was redden to as if he'd spent a long time of his life somewhere windy and cold.

"The man that was halved is whole and pure again." Luke pulled out Promeatheaus and laid it on the table, "as like last time we met I lay my sword down before and pay homeage to you." Luke's voice was full of power that thundered through the room.

Then his features softened, "I bring word from Fiona. She is well but time is on the haste. Come I will take you all back to Bonnyvale with me. The army is set to march on the next rising sun, with or without us. The future looks brighter if we hurry and go with them."

"Luke good to see you again." Svyel said with a slightly raspy voice because of the tears. "Help us. We're dying. It hurts." grated through Svyel's druidic empathy. He stuck his head out of a window and yelled into the forest. "SHUT UP! I ALREADY KNOW! I'M TRYING TO FIND THE PROBLEM SO STOP MOANING!" He turned around and looked at everyone in the inn and saw them looking confused. "Eheheh... the trees... I-I didn't sleep well." The tiger slinked into the room and sat next to Svyel with an almost pitiful look of sorrow on it's face. "Yeah... I'm sorry for stepping on you." Said Svyel to the tiger. Svyel sat down and withdraw to the sanctity of his mind.

    9:55 AM OF DAY 2
::Morgandy was surprised to see that Luke's hair had turned white, but did not question it further. She knew he had probably gone through some terrible ordeal, and that he would speak of his adventures in his own time. Morgandy's heart lightened a bit at the word from Fiona, her dear cousin whom had been like a mother to Morgandy after her parents died. She couldn't wait to see her. However, speak of war, although she knew it was probably coming, darkened her spirits. She would fight in it; it was her destiny and she had to help her people. The only word she spoke was, "'Tis good to see you again, Luke. And not harmed, either." She smiled....Feanin's brow furrowed as he saw that Luke had changed; from what he didn't know, and was afraid of. What ordeals had he gone through in his absence? Could they still trust him at all anymore? Had he now changed for the worst? Feanin couldn't be sure, and still held Luke in his doubts. He was hardly surprised at word of war; he had known it was sure to come soon. He would certainly fight; especially for his people. Feanin would be glad to see Bonnyvale again, and to see Fiona, but his mood was ever darkening. War and turmoil was coming, and he saw little hope of the Faes' succeeding. As days went by he had been growing more and more distant, especially from Morgandy, and had even lashed out at her a few times when he had been very tempermental. She had been cautious around him, but still was patient and caring.::

2:30 PM IN THE REALM OF SPRIGG
::Irinya walked slowly to the hilltop where the dying Nymph lay. Iriyna's arms were carefully extended so as not to disturb the healing orbs. She hardly knew how to use the orbs, but had heard tell of in legends about how powerful empaths and healers had used them long ago on dying people. Trusting these stories' examples, Irinya raised the orbs high, and lowered them gently again, extended toward the Nymph. It seemed to be working for the orbs shot out of Irinya's hand and engulfed the Nymph in a green glow; just like in the legends! The glow surrounded the Nymph for about a minute, as slowly the pink came back into her once moon pale skin. The glow dissipated, and the Nymph lay as if sleeping on her bed of leaves for a moment. Then, she slowly opened her tired eyes which Irinya was startled to see were bright blue. Her hair was golden, and her horns were like white ram's horns; She was a Water Nymph. The crowd gathered about Irinya and the Nymph, cheering and smiling. They patted Irinya on the back and exclaimed in grateful thanks. They helped the Nymph to her feet and began explaining that the elf, Irinya had healed her with her hidden healing magics. The Nymph maiden croakily spoke to Irinya: "I thank you greatly, Lady Irinya, Elf of Hillanya. I am also very proud of you for finding your hidden magics and being so successful in wielding them for the first time. We Nymphs, you may know, are greatly interested in the hidden magics and often help Elves to find theirs. I am Lady Sirenia, by the way, Water Nymph of the forests of Sprigg. My sister is Nyadell." Sirenia pulled Nyadell into a hug and introduced the first Nymph Irinya had noticed. Nyadell was unlike her sister in that her skin was tan (whereas Sirenia's was rosy), her hair was a tannish-brown, her eyes were a greenish-brown, and her horns were twisted and brown; she was a Wood Nymph. Nyadell was near tears. "We are all very grateful to you, Lady Irinya. Thank you for saving my sister." Irinya bowed her head in welcome and said, "You are very welcome." Rode and Fern were standing a bit apart from the group of Nymphs and the Unicorn, seeming to be entranced by the Nymphs' beauty. Nymphs were enchanters, especially of men, and Irinya could see that they would be like this. For the first time in her life though, Irinya felt a pang of jealousy for Rode's heart. Long had they been just good friends and companions, but now she realized that she loved him. Irinya turned away from Rode's face; he was only interested in the Nymphs. Her face reddened and she looked down at her feet. Her thoughts were interrupted by the Unicorn. He spoke and said, "You have done great deeds here, Lady Elf. My respects to you," and he bowed his head in reverence. Irinya smiled, but did not speak. The Nymph Sirenia came to Irinya and said, "Hail Irinya!" The Nymphs, Unicorn, Fern, and Rode hailed her, "She has done a great deed. As our thanks to her, we ask you, Lady Elf, to rest in our kingdom for as long as you like. We will bestow gifts on you and treat you with the greatest hospitality." The three companions saw that night was coming fast as it was, and that they would need a place to rest anyway, and so accepted the Nymph's offer. The three companions followed the Nymphs and Unicorn in a procession down the other side of the hill and deep into the forest again.::

"Aye, it is good to see all of you again too, but come hurry time is on the essence." Luke looked worridly at Syvel something was eating him eating him away inside like he carried two souls or something. Something was off, Luke could tell that much with out even reaching out his senses. Luke pushed open the door and motioned to the rest, "It is not as long of a journey as you think, come make haste." He spun and went out into the street, he waited for them to come.

The tiger came stroleing out and did the same then stood next to Svyel waiting for him to hop on. Svyel accepted the ride gratiously and tried to block out the wailing. "She, whoever she is, is about an hour away. I think near a fruit grove in the forest." He looked towards the forest and saw their dying black leaves. To most people this was weird. To Svyel this was sad creepy and very ominous.

::Morgandy saw Luke's haste and so used her conjuring magics to summon their bags. Morgandy drew her cloak about her for underneath she only wore her thin nightgown. She slipped on some sturdy slippers and fetched Augustine from the stable. When Svyel spoke of the fruit grove, she knew of the one he was speaking of; the only fruit grove in Bonnyvale; The Fruitgrove of Della*. Morgandy also knew exactly where to find it, and so did Feanin. "Alright," she said, "I know of the fruitgrove you speak of. It is called The Fruitgrove of Della. We will find this mystery woman in no time."...

...With that, Morgandy did not ride Augustine out of the citadel but led her by the reigns.

*Della was an ancient Fae Sorceress who worked mainly with fruits, and in the fruitgrove of which was named for her. It was named after her because she spent so much time there, making potions from fruits and enchanting the trees, which to present day were said to speak still from her charms.

3:20 PM IN THE REALM OF SPRIGG
After a brief trek through the enchanted wood, Irinya, Rode, and Fern found themselves in a small village with the Nymphs and Unicorn. The village hosted Nymphs of all kinds: Water Nymphs, Wood Nymphs, Fire Nymphs, Air Nymphs, Light Nymphs, and Dark Nymphs. There was of course, a head Nymph, the one Elemental Nymph, who guided the others. Except, she did not live in the village but secluded in a treehouse farther off in the wood. There she could rule and live in peace, and all the Nymphs knew where to find her. In the middle of the village was a sort-of outside atrium, with enourmous toadstools, stumps, logs, and rocks for sitting. In the middle of the atrium was a fountain with a carving in the center of a Water Nymph, pouring water from a vessel. In front of the fountain was a lively band of Nymphs, Fauns, and Satyrs. They played varied instruments like flutes, drums, chimes, pipes, lutes, harps, and cymbals. Two Nymphs, a Water and a Fire with bright orange hair, brown eyes, and red stub horns sang to the tune with melodious, haunting voices. Sitting about the scene were Nymphs, Satyrs, Unicorns, Fauns, and Centaurs (with the dancing light pixies), some clapping, cheering and dancing too. Irinya and the rest also stood about the atrium, for there were no seats left and enjoyed the music.

Luke whistled and a white steed rode up from the brush. He mounted up, "Syvel if you want to pick this woman let us hurry, no more of this lazzy pace. If were not back in time to lead the attack it's not going to go well."

::Morgandy hopped on Augustine, realizing that walking would be too slow. She offered a hand and helped Feanin up on Augustine too. "Come," she said to the others, "I know the way to that fruitgrove like the back of my hand. I will lead you." And with that, Morgandy and Feanin rode out of the citadel at a fast pace. The day was clear and bright; perfect traveling conditions. Morgandy and Feanin saw their home in the distant south. The fruitgrove jutted out of the forest on the northwestern side. Morgandy urged Augustine in that direction.::

    1 pm day 2

Everyone arrived at the fruit grove and gasped at the ugliness. Usually this fruit grove would be beautiful and tranquil and full of fruits and flowers. Now it was dead and shriveled. The black, crispy leaves didn't look at all peaceful and the thorn covered vines looked rather ominous. On closer inspection the vines turned out to be a black substance that seemed to be made of evil. Svyel stared at the ominous place for a moment. "She's supposed to be here."

Otiluke arrived in Bonnyvale. The death and decay in the plants was somewhat disturbing. No make that really disturbing. He walked around and asked various townfolk as to where Svyel and them were. But this search proved fruitless as he sooned realised that they weren't here yet.

Luke looked about his face was an impassive mask, but it did show some disgust at the rotting flora. Luke hopped off the horse he had called which meandered a little ways away. He bent down and scooped up some of the soil. "Even the very ground we walk on is dead," he said, the soil was dusty and rocky it wouldn't be supporting any life at all.

::Morgandy and Feanin hopped off Augustine. Feanin was confused and frustrated. They had come all this way! And on Svyel's account! He felt like they were on a wild goose chase, trying to find this woman. Feanin wondered how Svyel could feel so sure about this place, and then come here and say, '"She's supposed to be here."'. Feanin chuckled at the predicament they were in. Svyel was the one who was directing them, and yet he couldn't even decipher his own sendings. They were in a pit of hopelessness! Feanin drew Morgandy aside and related his thoughts to her. She nodded at the end and said, "Don't give up hope now, though Feanin. I am sure that woman is here if not very close by. Svyel would not lie about that to us! Come, let's talk with him." Morgandy half-pulled the reluctant Feanin to where Svyel was standing. "Svyel," Morgandy said in calm, patient tones, "Are you sure this is the place? Or is it near? Please tell us so we might find this woman and take care of such matters. We haven't much time for dallying."

3:40 PM IN THE REALM OF SPRIGG
Irinya looked to where Rode was standing. He smiled at her in a friend-like or sibling-like way. Irinya looked down for a moment, but half-smiled back. The feyish music was wonderful, and Irinya enjoyed it very much, but she was tired from her day and needed isolation. She wandered off from the atrium without telling anyone. No one even seemed to notice her take leave or to care much either, so why should she tell them where she was going and if she had permission to do so. At the moment, she didn't care. At any other given time, Irinya would use the utmost politeness and lady-like qualities she so often possessed. Now she just felt subdued and tired. Nothing could satisfy her more now than a solitary, peaceful walk in the woods. Soon Irinya was out of the Nymph village. She headed northwestwards a little ways, not following any trail for if there even were any they were buried under a blanket of beautiful fall leaves. Irinya wondered at this, for it was the beginning of spring. Little did she know the condition of the forests and fauna in the south. Soon Irinya strolled up a hill in the wood. The hill stretched for miles, and Irinya followed it till she wore herself out and sat down on a soft bed of leaves. Leaning against a tall birch, Irinya nearly drifted off. Suddenly, she heard a sound like the rush of a mighty wind. Startled, Irinya awoke and looked about her. Floating before her was a tall, dark-haired Nymph with twisted brown horns, webbed fingers, fiery wings, and eyes the color of a storm. This Nymph was none other than the All-Elemental Nymph, the head of all Nymphs. Irinya gasped and stood, trembling with awe. "Do not be frightened, Elf Child," spoke the deep voice of the Nymph, "I am Tyerla, the All-Elemental Nymph and ruler of the Nymph Kingdom." Irinya felt ashamed for her disrespect and bowed. The Nymph chuckled and said, "You do not need to do that, Kind Miss, but I thank you for it. However, I am here because I sensed a great unease in my forest. It directed me to this spot so I can only assume it meant you. Is something troubling you? Surely you are not lost are you?" Irinya shook her head and said, "N-No, milady. I am not lost. I am uneasy though." The Nymph nodded her head knowingly and said, "Well, go on. I might be of some help." Hope blossomed like a morning flower in Irinya. She said, "I would be much obliged to help, milady! You see, I am on a very important quest," and Irinya told the Nymph all about the quest, "and so that has been weighing heavily on me, but not this much since we entered Sprigg. Also," she paused, blushing, "I have found new, strange feelings for my companion, Rode. I have never felt them before, and I feel jealous when he looks longingly at the Nymphs." Tyerla nodded and replied, "Yes, we Nymphs are enchanting, especially to men. But that is our nature and men are liable to fall in love with us. I can see your predicament. If you truly want your Rode to love you and none other, than take this," she waved her hand in the air and out of mist a diamond phial appeared, holding a clear lavender liquid. "This," Tyerla said, "holds Nymphian magics that when sprinkled over a person's eyes in their sleep, while saying the person's name they are meant to love, is meant to make the person fall in love with the spoken person's name as next they lay eyes on them." Irinya hesitated, but took the phial from Tyerla's offering hand. She would be hesitant to use it. It was dishonest, and Irinya didn't like the idea of tricking a loved one. "I am sorry, Tyerla. I cannot do this. It isn't right," she said, a tear of despair rolling down her cheek. Tyerla laughed and said, "Good work, wise Elfling. You have a true heart." With a wave of Tyerla's hand, the phial disappeared into nothingness. "You see," she said, "that was only a test. A test to see if you truly loved this Rode. If you accepted my offer, then you would be either blinded by your own selfish cares, or would not truly love him, or wholly evil. Of those three you are not for you turned down the offer. You, Irinya of Hillanya, are wise, caring, and true-hearted. This shows you truly love him." Irinya beamed. Another self-revelation. "Now" Tyerla said, "I will give you this advice: Always be true to yourself. Do what you think is right and follow your heart. Do not be fooled by petty disguises. To get Rode to love you, just be yourself. Keep being the friend he loves. Perhaps show him your love somehow. As for your journey, I give you this." Tyerla reached out a delicate hand to place it on Irinya's brow. She said a few strange words, and a blinding light passed from Tyerla's hand to Irinya's brow. Tyerla withdrew her hand and conjured up a glass hand mirror. Irinya looked into it. There, on her brow, was a strange tattoo of a band of stars. They glimmered and twinkled for a moment, then faded into dark blue. "When seeking guidance," Tyerla said, "just touch your brow and concentrate. The mark will shimmer and help should come soon after. Have hope, Irinya Starbrow, for that is your new title that I give to you, for evil will not endure. If you believe this, you will succeed." With a farewell smile, Tyerla disappeared as soon as she had come in a cloud of mist. Tears of overwhelming joy and gratitude fell from Irinya's eyes. "Thank you," she whispered, "Thank you." Wiping her eyes, Irinya set off back towards the Nymph village with hope renewed in her heart.::

Svyel turned to Morgandy. It was obvious that he was trying to hold back tears of disgust and mourning for the trees. "Lady of the forest... or whoever... Show yourself." He stood waiting for a while. "She is suppos... t..." He turned to look where a noise of rustling had come from. Dust and ash began to pile up and swirl around neatly. After a moment or two a tall dark skinned woman wearing rather revealing leather garments rose up out of the ash. Her eyes were shut and this was almost impossible to see as her long brown hair, with a faint tint of green, fell forwards over her face.
Quickly she jerked her head back and her hair moved out of her face. Her eyelids were visible. "This is her..." Svyel said with a stammer. "But, she's only... umm... not there." The womans eyes opened and in place of the pupils and iris was a blackness that danced around and twitched dangerously like a fire. She grinned maliciously. Slowly she raised her right hand and pointed at the travellers. She chuckled as thorns and spines materialised in the air and flew at Svyel and the others. A thorn hit Svyel in the arm and several others whistled past him to the rest of the group.

Otiluke wandered around Bonnyvale hidden in the shadows watching and waiting for everyone to arrive.

::Almost as soon as Morgandy saw the woman, she knew she was a creature of the dark. She couldn't predict, however, that the woman would attack them with thorns. Morgandy gasped as a thorn hit Svyel, then felt herself being thrown to the ground. Feanin was lying on the ground too, he had brought her down with him because two thorns had been just about to puncture them in the throat. Morgandy thought quickly, and said under her breath in her native tongue, "Nearlo hana fe shee frina!" (Shield rise and ice pelt!) Almost immediately, ice pellets formed in Morgandy's hand. She looked up. The demon's thorns were not hitting anyone, but flying off in different directions as if some invisible shield were protecting them. The woman was growing angry, fire rose in her eyes as new, more terrible plans came to her. Morgandy had to act quick. "De greala," (Be careful) Feanin shouted to Morgandy in their native tongue as she rose to fight off the woman. Morgandy could barely hear him, and shot dozens of large ice pellets out of her hand, which pelted the woman. This ice, though, was not just any ice. This was Fae Ice from the Forbidden Pools of Galder*, summoned and used in only defense and the direst of times. This ice not only pelted the woman black and blue, but froze her skin till she was covered with ice. The woman screamed a hellish call; one that no creature of light or good mortal could produce. With one last wail, the woman turned into a ball of ice. Then the ice melted away, taking the woman (or whatever it was) with it. Morgandy was breathing heavily and her sides hurt. She should've tried another spell, but that was the only one she could think of at the time. It was usually meant only for the wisest, fully trained sorcerers and sorceresses. Fiona would've scolded her if she'd been here. The spell's effort took its toll on weak Morgandy and she sank to the ground and blacked out.::
    1:15 PM DAY 2
*They are called the "Forbidden" pools of Galder because in the ancient days the pools were forbidden for their terrible, powerful magics. Galder was the powerful Fae sorcerer who created them in the ancient days, and was the only one to use them until many ages later when the strongest and wisest of Fae sorcerers and sorceresses began to study them and wield their magics, but only rarely for their power was still great. Only the strongest are meant to use them for a weak, young Fae like Morgandy who knows little magics could be greatly hurt from using them.

::Irinya was almost to the village when she ran right into someone. She had had her eyes closed and was humming and didn't notice where she was going. Irinya now fell backwards on the ground and looked around. Nyadell was sitting on the ground across from her, panting. "There you are, miss!" She exclaimed. "You've been gone for over an hour and everyone got worried so we've been looking all over for ya-" She stopped in mid sentence, staring at Irinya's brow. "Oh!" She exclaimed, still staring, "A mark like that can only be given by the All-Elemental Nymph herself...but how did-" Irinya interrupted her saying, "I'll explain everything later. First let's find the others." Nyadell nodded and said, "Oh, yes! We forgot in all the hustle and bustle our manners! We should've shown you all to your lodgings! Oh, goodness me! Quick, let's rally up the others." Irinya nodded and was abruptly brought to her feet by Nyadell. "Follow me," Nyadell said. Irinya did so, but Nyadell did not lead her into the village but to the east a ways, down a little path and up a tall hill that looked out over all of Sprigg and down the northern side of the mountains. On the very top of this hill was a strange horn. It was strange because it was far too large to have come from any creature Irinya was familiar with. "This," panted Nyadell, "is the Horn of Tirnon*. When blown, it sounds to the Nymphs of Sprigg to meet back in the village as soon as possible." Nyadell smiled, and walked slowly up to the horn. "You may want to get behind the blow of the horn and plug your ears. It's quite powerful, you know," Nyadell warned. Irinya nodded and quickly ran up the hill to stand behind Nyadell and plugged her ears as Nyadell blew the massive horn. The drone sounded for a minute, echoed, then stopped. Nyadell's cheeks were red. "Come," she said, "We must hurry back to the village to meet the others." Irinya followed Nyadell again as best she could, Nyadell was strong and agile, whereas Irinya was weak and tired. Finally they reached the village, and everyone was already there. They all clapped and cheered as they saw Irinya again. Almost all, though, noticed and gawked at Irinya's mark.::
    5:30 PM
*Tirnon was a man in the ancient days who saved the Nymphs from the dreaded beast, Clothtar. Clothtar was said to look like an enourmous bull, but had only one enourmous horn. That was what Tirnon took as a trophy for slautering the beast. This horn was cleaned and made into the Horn of Tirnon, where it stands now on Triumph Hill, where the beast was defeated.

As the demon visage melted away Luke got of his horse and muttered a silent curse. He knelt next ot morgandy and muttered a charm, her features seemed to slow down till you could barely detect she was breathing.

"This isn't good that ice spell she just used severly depleted her life energy, I slowed her down to stop her from loosing any more life energy. But I can't heal her here. Gather around each of you grab hands." Luke grabbed Morgandy's hand, "Ok here goes."

Luke pulled a scroll out of his bag, and began to chant. after a few lines a blue ring encirled the entire group then strange script wrote itslef in the ground with a blu light, the area around them glowed with a light blue aura then everything vaniahed in a flash of bright light. As the light dimmed the group appeared outside the house of Fiona. The scroll in Luke's hand burst into flames until it was nothing more.

"Quick let's get her inside." He said.
