I hope you all know that it takes about two days to get from the forest near Hillanya to the Citadel only. Then, if you go around the outside of the citadel you can get to Bonnyvale Forest in about a half hour. It takes many days to get through the span of Bonnyvale to the base of the mountains, but if you go around the eastern side of the forest (which is the quickest way) you can get to the base of the mountains in about half a days' time. Then of course you have to travel up the treacherous pass to where the valley lies, where the village (and where I assume) Yuna's tower is. Sorry if I'm being bossy, but when you guys post your traveling there so short it seems like the tower is just outside of Hillanya, which dosen't make much sense. So, it would probably take you about four days to get there on foot (I'm assuming you wouldn't want to go through Bonnyvale, which would take too long). By the way, let's call those mountains the Absynian Mountains. And Luke, what should your village be called? Also, I've already thought of some names of other villages in the valley: Tyrnia, Fyn, Dewg, and Serrin. You could pick one of those if you like or make up your own. Oh, and just so we don't get confused, Yuna's original dwelling is in the hills of Wenden (see Page 1, Post 15), which is just east of Bonnyvale. Just thought I should give you a heads up. :)

    SUNSET OF DAY 1
::Morgandy looked with surprise at Svyel. "Well," she began, glancing at Feanin, "we really cannot stay much longer here. It is folly and there is much danger and turmoil happening than we thought. It seems Yuna is rapidly becoming more powerful, and she is sending out goblin troops; one of which nearly reached the city! I'm sure though, that we do not know of all
the ways she is gaining strength. We have decided to focus more on the downfall of Yuna, than of ridding me of my curse. Since no one else seems to be fighting her forces, who else will? Also, there is something of Luke that we will tell of later, when there is more time. However, now we need to prepare for travel and battle; but I think requesting Hillanya's army's help would be folly; the crazed king will never agree to anything fighting against the forces of the crystal, which I believe is what we can call them. This is war, and it is starting because of the crystal. I am sure we can get help from our home, Bonnyvale. The Faes have a long and glorious history in battle and they will help Feanin and I, as well as friends of ours. Do you really think you're able to come along and perhaps fight, Svyel? You seemed so weak just moments ago." Even as she was saying this though, she began to back out of the room with Feanin; they were running out of time. The doors were opened and Morgandy told a guard to ready her horse for her. She looked back at Svyel with a questioning look as Feanin left to his quarters to gather his things.::

I like Serrin. I guess it does seem we travel rather fast, but we really haven't started keeping track of time or rate of movement till now, but to explain our characters rather fast mode of transportation. Syvel's vampire character is a vampire, so naturaly hes able to move faster, weather by flying or advanced terrain negotaition. Luke is the Beast, Luke doesn't have complete control over the beast because he still uses some of the beast's powers. That's why even when human he has unnatural combat abilities and powers, powers like advanced terrain negoiation, and the ability to tempoarily accelerate his body by almost more than 90-110% faster than the others around him. Also when I said ending in that last post I meant end of his duel with Yuna.

DAY 1: 5 Minutes Later (from my last post)

Luke had fallen into a large cave, it was a large thirty foot dias with four wings that overhanged the large abyss that circled the dias. The drop must of been at least fifty Luke surmized. Yuna stood at the far end of the dias, "I don't appreciate betrayal servant."

"I am not your servant, not any more!" Luke shouted, raising his Katana he charged at Yuna launching, most would have roared, or screemed a battle cry, but Luke jsut shouted an accelration spell, everything seemed to slow down even Yuna. Yes! Luke thought, he had fooled she didn't even react. Suddenly just about as the sword was about to cleave into her head she flashed out of the way simaltaneously strking out with her own black sword and cut a shallow slash into Luke's thigh.

Suddenly all the world flashed to reality, Luke stabbed his katana into the ground and just stopped himself from flying over the edge into the abyss. He rolled back to feet slightly favoring his leg, he drew a little more of the beast's power and healed his leg. A wave of urges swept over him, most of them were none to pleasant. The Katana his partner glowed dimmer a little, Luke mentaly berated himself, he should be using his light powers more not the beast's. Luke shifted his position and prepared for Yuna's counterattack...

Okay let's say that Otiluke can travel at twice the speed of a normal person.
Oh and Luke, hows you patella?

    Day 1: sunset.

The door under Yuna'a throne slammed shut and the stone warriors proceded to give Otiluke hell. He lept out of the window and throw anti-petrification spells throught the winsow. The stone soldiers turned to sand immediatly. Otiluke started towards Hillanya. He concluded that if Yuna doesn't want him to follow he couldn't. Otiluke decided that the message might be of some use to Morgandy. END DAY FOR OTILUKE

Svyel walked up to the door. The loneliness was chewing away at his insides like a ravenous dog. His eyes watered at the pain of the absence. Why was this "she" so important. He had to know. All he could feel was where she was supposed to be. "Hey guys. I just felt something new. I think I know where the mystery lady is supposed to be." He glanced at the faes and thought for a second that they make such a sweet couple. Then Svyel looked at Bronze and felt the wisdom seep through. Svyel Looked expectantly at the group and grinned trying to hide the pain of the lost "she".

OOC: The end day for Otiluke means that he will spend the rest of the day travelling and it would take 2 days by foot but he travels at twice the speed so a day. Svyel's day is still continuing though.

I get my brace off in two weeks, thanks for asking :)

DAY 1: TWO HOURS BEFORE MIDNIGHT

    IC:
Yuna waited for a second then said, "Luke one way or another I will have the Beast as my servant." With that she used a pull spell to yank the katana out of Luke's hand then she used a similiar spell he had used on Feanin awhile back to blast him back onto the overhang. When he landed there was something next to him, what the hell. The Beast, some how she had split it from him! He reached out with his hand and his sword flew into to it, with a deft swoop he impaled the beast on his sword just as it got up and tackled him pushing him over the edge, using the sword he pulled the beast with him into the abyss...

Shit got to go to school.

I was think of doing something else that would explain my character more but I decided not to do it so this doesn't explain my character as much as the other one would but I think works better for the story.

    DAY 2: EARLY MORNING

...Luke walked in a thick mist that did not let him see far, he shouted out but did not hear his own words. Was this the after life? He qandered. No. A voice said one that sounded in his own head and outside his head at the same time. The voice left Luke weak in the knees and wobbily. Young one you task is still at hand you must not fail your companions, but I can not allow you to return to the world as your old self. Luke Lavin the Beast Carrier is no more, from now on you shall be known as Luke the White go now and furfill the task at hand.

Luke sputtered and threw up water, and took a deep breath, "Are you alright." A clear sweet voice rang in his head, Luke opened his eyes and looked into the face of a beuatiful Fae woman, she looked probaly in her late thirties but since Fae such long lives Luke had no way of knowing of how old she was, nor cared.

"I'm.. I'm alright just shook up." He ran his hand through his hair and noticed it was much longer than what he remembered and it was a shocking bright white color, that was a contrast to the black tangle mess Luke remembered.

"Where am I? Who are you? What's going on? Where is the witch Yuna?" Luke looked about in alarm.

"Whoa easy fella, you've been hitting the spirits too much or some one must of whalloped you good. I am Fiona, you are not far from a place called Bonnyvale. As too your other two questions I have no aswers but you sir are certainly an odd young man indeed." She looked at him quizicaly with large deep violet eyes that sparkled with wit, her face was smooth and angular in a heart shaped way and her fiery red hair was kept in a tight knot on the back of her head. She was shapely and well curved, Luke gazed for a second at the pair of large horns on her head. "Now that you know my name I pray thee tell me yours?"

Luke thought for a second, my name, "Luke L-," Then Luke remembered what had all happened and he felt a great urgency forced on him, "Luke the White," he asnwered as he stood up the blanket that covered him fell away and he realised he was nude. Blushing very deeply he snatched up the blanket and wrapped it around his midriff. The Fae Fiona smiled broadly.

"Time is on the essence Fiona, I implore thee to lead me to Bonnyvale, if that be your destination." Luke said, trying to be formal even though she smiled broadly and was on the verge of bursting out laughing. "Yes, Luke, that is where I travel. Now if you wouldn't mind maybe perhaps you can explain your coming here, I don't usualy recieve visions of naked men floating in rivers for no reason at all." With that the two set off to Bonnyvale and Luke explained alot of the happening for the past couple of days...

Ok, thanks guys. That makes more sense. Glad you're healing Luke. :) And remember, please specify in what direction you're headed when traveling! It helps. You don't have to specify in places already mentioned, just when going somewhere new. Thanks! :)

    DAY 1: DUSK
::Morgandy looked at Svyel. Feanin was already nearly out of the next hall. "As soon as we're on our way," said Morgandy, "you should tell us then where you think she is. For we have many places to go also, and if you think this is very important then we'll stop there first." Morgandy wearily smiled, her eyes drooping with lack of rest. She checked that Svyel was following her and headed towards her room. As soon as she got there her nurse urged her to get back into bed, but Morgandy explained that the empath had healed her and she had to leave on important secret business. Her nurse looked abashed but let her go. Morgandy grabbed her pack and got all her things together. Then she changed out of her nightgown and into her traveling garb and cloak. She brushed out her wild hair and placed a silver Fae war circlet on her head. She slung her bow and quiver on over her shoulder, placed her longsword in its scabbard, and slipped her dagger into its scabbard. Before she left the room she hungrily ate a piece of bread and glass of milk that rested on the table. She forgot when it was last that she had eaten. Morgandy then trudged hurriedly down the hall, down the grand staircase, and soon found the kitchen where she requested food. The cooks reluctantly gave her some loaves of bread, fish, apples, water, berries, and venison. Having these provisions, she went out into the main hall and located the guard who she had asked to have Augustine readied. He said she was ready and waiting outside. Morgandy had to wait for Svyel and Feanin, who seemed to be taking longer than she had expected.

    Meanwhile...

Irinya, Rode, and Fern followed the strange company down a long stone hallway, lit by small windows in the wall. There was only one door, at the end of this hallway, which they entered. This new room was the dining room. A long, oak table that looked as if it had just been chopped off a tree and polished filled most of the room. About thirty chairs lined the table, also looked as if they were just chopped out of a tree and polished. It all looked very rustic, but also very beautiful and cheery. Three large brightly-lit orbs seemed to hang in midair near the ceiling. They were not pixies; they were round; they reminded Irinya of the Elf lights of Hillanya. Large windows were cut into the right wall, all with purple velvet drapes half covering them. A door was at the far end of the room, which led outside. The rug was white and plush. The table was laden with silver plates and utensils at every seating, and in the center of the table was a large bouquet of fresh daisies, lilies, lilacs, foxgloves, and wildflowers. Also in the center were all kinds of platters and dishes holding delicious looking foods like baked bread, cream, milk, wine, corn, sweet cakes, puddings, pork, and berries. Everyone helped themselves to great portions and in between eating they sang more songs and recited poems. Sometimes, Rode, Irinya and Fern were familiar with some so they joined in. Soon everyone was full and grew very tired and calm. Now the woman that Irinya was sure was Syella stood up and said, "I would like to welcome our guests. They have traveled far and are weary. We have not seen their kind for very long." All the little creatures nodded at this. Even though Syella was still standing, Irinya rose and looked directly at her. "We are very grateful for your kindness and hospitality to us. It really is something we never expected to find here. However, you still haven't told us who you are, which I think is very important." Syella smiled, and almost seemed to chuckle. "But don't you already know," she said merrily, "still, I am sorry for my lack of good manners. I am Syella, seer and sorceress of the Great Northern Caves of Sprigg; which is where you are, but I'm sure you already knew that also. I believe you wanted to see me also, and ask me questions? I hope you do not forget that I am a seer, and do have the answer to and know almost everything. Come now, we will talk of things." She waved her hand and the plates were cleared, leaving fresh ones in the place. The little creatures exited through the back door into the outside, as Syella dismissed them. Syella then led them through a door in the left wall which was covered by another purple drape. She led them through it, which led up a winding stone staircase.:: DUSK OF DAY 1 FOR IRINYA, RODE, AND FERN

Luke-YEA! You made up a cool character. :) Good job. Hey, you don't have to incorporate this into your posting, but is it all right is she's like my older cousin? That would be cool, because then when we come to Bonnyvale, Morgandy, and Feanin could act like they know her really well. Just out of curiosity, are you planning on staying in Bonnyvale till we get there? That would probably be easier for us. :)

Oh yeah what does Bonnyvale look like, do Fae live in trees or houses? How big are usual Fae buildings, is it city like, or forest hamlet?
Can you just give me a description or culture and what it looks like, it would really affect my next post. Thx.

Luke, I assume your hobbling around in a cast or on crutches at least. I mean YEOW! your knee cap... (Sorry, I like biology and medicine. I think this stuff is fascinating)
    DAY 1: DUSK

Svyel emerged from the building at a small run. "Found it." he said. He was holding the same medallion that he had used to turn his horse into a fox. Upon opening the bag he had been carrying the small fox lept out stretched and yawned. Svyel grinned at the fox and the thing went nut with happiness. "Alright. Alright. Stand there." Svyel pointed to an open spot on the ground and the fox moved there. Pointing the amulet at the fox Svyel said a few words and (OOC: I'm changing the morph graphic) the fox lifted 2 feet into the air and began turning slowly. Wisps of white wirrled around the fox and it flashed. Next thing anyone would have seen is a large white tiger standing there grinning at it's stripes. "Oh man... I wanted a horse. Ho well, better than a rabbit or chimpanzee."

    Otiluke Still travelling.

: Ok, Bonnyvale is basically a large, enchanted forest (as you already know). Some Faes prefer to live in enourmous hollow trees, some live in houses built in trees, and then some prefer to live in small huts or cottages. There isn't really any city in Bonnyvale, so there are no big buildings and no royalty or nobility. Some head Faes hold councils in hollows. Some parts of Bonnyvale are densely populated communities, while other Faes prefer to live on their own. There are many birds in Bonnyvale, of no other kind anywhere, and many Faes own and breed horses. There are lots of flowers everywhere, little brooks and springs, some small caves, and the air often seems to be filled with the wondrous singing of Fae voices. Most Faes are very quiet, calm, and peaceful. Faes usually live to be about 5000-5500. The tribe of Faes that lives in Bonnyvale are called the Brynions, which are the last Fae tribe left, and came from the ancient forest of Anion in the Umbra Mountains. The Faes have a long history in war (even most of the women) and are also infatuated with art, music, dancing, poetry, and nature. Most Faes also enjoy riding their horses, which usually tend to live as long as their owners, and become like best friends. Most Fae children (0-100) lose their parents at about their age of 100, when their parents are about 5000-5500. This usually takes a long period of healing with most Faes. Is that enough info?

    Nightfall of Day 1
::Morgandy finally saw Svyel and Feanin appear in the hall, and she rushed over to meet them. "Kreona!" She said "finally" in her native tongue, forgetting momentarily that only Feanin probably understood her. Morgandy was about to discuss where they were headed when Svyel abruptly turned his fox into a white tiger. Morgandy jumped back, and exclaimed in a squeak of fear and surprise, hiding behind Feanin who seemed surprised at first, but then smiled reassuringly at Morgandy. Morgandy supposed she could get used to the tiger, as long as it was tame and didn't attack. However, she wasn't too sure how her kin in Bonnyvale would react to it. Calming herself, Morgandy cleared her throat and said, "Well, I picked up some provisions from the kitchen for our journey, but where should we head to first? I plan on heading to Bonnyvale, but we will have other stops as well. Svyel, can you tell us of this person you are missing, and perhaps where we can find her?"::

Fiona lead Luke to a small cottage that grew out of the base of a two hundred foot tall redwood tree, the base wide almost an seventeen foot girth. The door was small though and Luke had to duck to get inside, Luke clenched the blanket to his back side lest someone was looking. Fiona went into the next room down a hall, she came back with a white robe that was hooded.

"Here try this I think it may be the only thing that will fit you, it used to be my father's he was a rather large Fae." Fiona turned away while Luke changed quickly.

"Ok you can look now." Luke said. Fiona turned around and barely kept her laughter under control. The robe reached just below his knees, and the sleeves covered uptill rgw middle of his forearms.

"Ahh you look great," Fiona said once she stopped laughing, Luke blushed a little then said, "Aye just great." He grabbed the blanket and tied it around his neck like a cape, "Aye thats a little better." He said.

Fiona took on a serious note and asked Luke, "So you said Morgandy is in Hilanya with Feanin? Wow it's been a long time since I've seen her around here." Fiona muttered.

"Aye she's there helping a druid recover but I have a good feeling she's coming this way soon." Luke said he had kinda of a far off look.

"Well really now you Luke, must explain yourself to me, I don't often get visions, even though I am a Seer. I only get them when something imporatant is about to happenm and the one of you just doesn't make sense to me, other than saving your life."

Luke looked at Fiona, "I honestly don't know how I came to be here, after I fought Yuna I thought I was done, but I guess the powers above have more plans for me. By the way how do you know Morgandy?"

"Well she's family silly, she's my first cousin, and Feanin her best friend, or well I suspect their more than that now." Fiona blushed a little she wasn't the type to usually go blabbing around but this Luke character seemd easy to talk to. "I shouldn't have said that actually."

"It's ok I already know," Luke said, he remembered back when Feanin had come marhcing to get and in such a hurry to get back to Hiliyana with or with out him. Luke grinned a bit.

"I fear I am bringing war on your people Fiona," Luke said seriously. His dark hazelnut eyes looked filled with deep thoughts.

"The only thing good has to do for evil to win is nothing," Fiona said reassuringly she held Luke's hand and looked at him in the eyes.

NIGHTFALL OF DAY 1 FOR IRINYA, RODE, AND FERN
::Syella led the three of them up a winding stone staircase. Every ten feet or so a window appeared in the wall, looking out onto the vast forest and the darkening sky. Irinya was astonished at the heighth of this tower, for she had not seen a tower when she entered the caves in the afternoon. She figured, though, that they were probably back deep in the forest now, and the tower had not been visible from the entrance of the caves. After what seemed like hours, they came to a large red oak door. Carved on the door were some of the same patterns as on the walls of the caves. Syella opened the door and led them inside. Syella's chambers were bright and warm. In the far corner was a soft white bed piled with many plush rugs and throws. In the nearest wall was set a brick fireplace under a mantle which held strange bottles holding unknown elixirs, potions, and odd objects. In the middle of the room was a wooden table surrounded by four chairs. On the table were many finished and unfinished scrolls, heavy books, ink pots, and quill pens. Scrolls and books were also piled in the nearest left corner and in an overflowing trunk. In the far right corner, next to the fireplace, were many iron cauldrons of all sizes. In the far wall was a broad window, overlooking the forest, the tall mountains, and the night sky. Set underneath the window was a dark blue plush couch. Syella invited them to sit there as she started a fire in the fireplace, levitated a large cauldron, and set it over the fire. She then said a few words and the cauldron filled with hot cider. This done, Syella took a seat facing them in a chair. "Well, then..." she said, "I believe you wanted to ask of me some questions." Irinya nodded, and said, "Yes, milady. We are on a very important quest, as I'm sure you already know. The artifact we carry is the crystal that all dark magical beings envy, and what may be the downfall of our world, especially if it gets into the dark sorceress, Yuna's hands." Syella shook her head and lowered her eyes for a moment, then said, "Long has Yuna been my worst foe...long has it been that I have tried to bring her to her downfall...long has it been that I've tried to keep her away from the crystal...You see," she said, now talking directly to them, "Yuna has always known of the crystal, and has always tried to get it. Her ultimate wish is to control our world, and to rid it of all the good; for her evil purposes. I too, have always known of the crystal, and saw past its deceiving beauty for what it really was; a corrupting, foul thing that had to be destroyed. I have tried all my long years to keep Yuna away from it, and for the longest time I was the only person to know of its true identity. I always knew where it was to be destroyed, how it was to be destroyed, and where it lie. However, I did not take these matters into my own hands, because I knew it was not my mission. I knew there was someone who would eventually come along to destroy it; that of course is you three. I also knew that Yuna would do anything to get it; using innocent people to do her will for her, massacres, sending out troops of goblins, and other terrible things. However I had to let fate take its course, and wait patiently, for I knew in due time all would be right. And for the longest time I knew that you would come to me for guidance, and that I could finally help in the destroying of the evil artifact. So, here I am and here you are. I know what you are to ask, but ask it anyway and I shall tell you." Syella got up to take the cauldron off the fire. She ladled the cider into four mugs and then handed three to them. Irinya took a long gulp before asking her questions. "Well," she began. "we need to know how to destroy the crystal, where to destroy it, and what the safest route is." Syella nodded and put down her mug, saying, "The only place the crystal can be destroyed is in the festering lagoon of Drakondia. That is the place where it was created eods ago by the evil sorcerer Murgrind. Once at the lagoon, you must make sure not to drop the crystal, and be very careful not to go into the lagoon itself. Unspeakable punishments will be your doom if you do. You must climb up the nearby rock face, Terrorfylin; you will know it when you see it; and drop the crystal over the cliff into the lagoon. As soon as you do, you must run from there as fast as you can, for the lagoon will erupt, spreading its acid everywhere; yes it is acid; and if you do not run for you lives the acid will surely eat you up. Once you are at a safe distance, you do not have to flee for your lives anymore. You can then go home. The way to Drakondia is treacherous; there is only one way. You will have to pass farther north through these mountains. On the other side is the land of Creom, which is by the sea. Follow the sea westward till you come to the dark forest of Tulien. That is a dense and formidable forest, so be wary. You must travel throught it southwest till you come to the edge. There will lie the desolate plains of Faunaless. Travel west through it. The plains there will be dry and hot, so there will be little food and water; I will provide you with some. Once you are out of the plains, you will see dark hills and knolls. Beyond that lies Drakondia, so you must climb those hills and knolls. The way into Drakondia is steep so be careful. It is also very dark, foggy, and muddy in there. Most of Drakondia is covered by widespread, barren trees. The ground will become ever soggier till you come to the festering lagoon, which lies in the heart of Drakondia. Once in Drakondia you must be very wary, for there is litter shelter and quicksand is known to lie there. There are also massive birds who will attack you if they are starving. You must fight them off, and they are edible. I see you have good weaponry, so you can fend for yourselves. Is that your only questions?" (to be continued):: NEAR EARLY MORNING OF DAY 2

::Morgandy nodded and smiled, putting a comforting arm around Svyel. "Alright," she said, "We will head to Bonnyvale then." Without another word Morgandy gathered her things and walked through the large front doors of the palace, checking that Feanin and Svyel were following. Augustine was being held by a stable boy, and when he saw her the boy brought Morgandy the reins as she dropped a coin in his hand. Morgandy was relieved and eager to be able to go to Bonnyvale. She hadn't been there in nearly a month and she was dearly missing her friends, and especially her cousin, Fiona. Before Morgandy had left for Strolenville on a visit her cousin had told Morgandy that she had received a vision that Morgandy would be taken up into strange company, that Morgandy would be thrust into great danger, and also that she would not return for very long. At the time, Morgandy was naive and just shrugged it off. She knew many of Fiona's visions tended to be faulty and obscured, but now Morgandy silent chuckled in the irony of this true prophecy.

Irinya averted her eyes from Syella's intense stare. She felt so reluctant to ask her next question, even though she had been so eager to have it answered. With a sigh, Irinya returned her gaze to Syella's, and said, "Lately, I've been having these dreams...and visions," she said these last two words reluctantly. "All of them were very bad...none were pleasant. They were of fierce battles in which I believe I spotted some friends of mine who are on a similar quest; the others were of terrible pain and suffering and danger I saw them in...I believe they could have been of things to come...or things that are happening or have happened." Irinya stopped there, and everyone was silent for a time. Syella sat with her chin in her hand for a moment. Then she said, "I cannot be entirely sure now, Lady Irinya, but it is very likely that these are the beginning growths of your becoming a seer," Irinya jumped at this, shocked. Syella continued, "That is the way all seers start out. Why, I remember my first visions....Oh-If not that, then these are probably just bad dreams and anxieties you're having. You could be too anxious about what is to come. However, I do have a way you can find out," she said, rummaging in her trunk as papers and books fell out. Finally she pulled out a strange object that looked like a mirror, except that the handle was black and the glass was also black with mysterious wispy cloud-like things floating about in it. Syella came back and handed it to Irinya. "That," she said, "is called a Prophecy Glass. It is a very powerful artifact; crafted by the greatest Alchemist in history, Rylein the Great. To use it, you must look into it whilst thinking very hard on a certain vision you've had. Make sure you don't get any of the vision's details wrong, or it won't work properly. As soon as that's finished, the glass will suddenly shine bright if you are a seer. If you are not, nothing will happen. Hold tight onto it, too, it is very powerful." Syella smiled, and nodded at Irinya, telling her to go ahead. Irinya glanced at Fern and Rode. They wore hopeful, good-luck looks. Irinya sighed and looked intently into the glass...:: MIDNIGHT OF DAY 2

Svyel felt even more comforted. This was actually really peaceful... except for the wailing of the trees. That cold loneliness was still eating him from the inside out but atleast there was a distraction now.

OOC: I kinda doubt he's coming back. Why are you waiting for him? I would like to speed things up so we could get traveling.

::Irinya thought intently of the vision she had had of a great battle in which she had seen her friends. She did this all while staring into the glass, and made sure she had every detail right. Once she had put in every detail of that vision to the glass's use, the cloudy wisps suddenly cleared from the glass, revealing only darkness. Then suddenly, a tiny bright speck appeared in the center of the glass and steadily grew larger. Once it was about to fill the circumference of the glass, Irinya braced herself. The light seemed to burst out of the glass and shine in her face as if she had just come very close to the sun. Irinya turned away from it, for fear of blinding. Rode, Fern and Syella shielded their faces too. Finally, the glare stopped and none of them could see clearly for about a minute. After a while Irinya turned towards Syella and stammered, "I-I s-suppose I'm a s-seer, then." Syella rubbed her dazzled eyes and nodded. "I've only ever witnessed that glass's power once before, the first time I used it. Before that, it was used by an old sorceress whom I was friends with. She gave it to me when I told her of my visions." Syella smiled weakly. Irinya smiled too; she wondered if Syella's younger self was anything like Irinya was now, and that one day she might be as powerful a sorceress as Syella herself. Irinya's thoughts were interrupted by Fern's yawns and saying, "Well, good Lady Syella, you've helped us much indeed. We are grateful for it. As for now, it is very late and we've traveled most of this day through the caves below and before that nearly nonstop through the mountains and northern wilderness. We would appreciate rest." Rode agreed in a weary nod. Syella jumped and said, "Oh, of course! I'm dearly sorry for keeping you up. And you shan't sleep on the ground this night again, for I did see you sleeping there through my visions. I know it is peaceful and soft, but is still far too dangerous for you to be out in the open like that, with the crystal." Syella henceforth explained that many already coveted the crystal, not only Yuna. Irinya was surprised, she had only thought of Yuna's coveting of the crystal. This made her feel less safe. "Anyway," said Syella, "I will show you to your rooms." Syella led them down the stone stairs again, through the dining hall, through the stone corridor, out into the round room with the tapestries, and through a side door. This door led down a brightly lit hallway with five doors on each side. "Here," said Syella, "you may choose your rooms. They are all lodging rooms and are all to your use, so pick any you would like. I am in my tower room if you need me." She nodded to them in farewell, and left. Irinya picked a room with oak furnishings and white rugs and bed. Rode picked a room with mohagony furnishings and red rugs and bedding. Fern picked a room at the far end with yew furnishings and gold rugs and bedding. As soon as Irinya entered her white room, she began to strip off her worn and dirty traveling garb and slipped on a white nightgown from her bag. She then washed her grimy face and arms from a porcelain bowl on a table. Feeling refreshed, Irinya looked out her window. It was open, and a light breeze blew the white gauzy drapes. She was on ground level again so the forest was a few yards from her window. The same enchanting music she had heard before played echoingly, and the little pixies danced in the moonlight. Having this soothing atmosphere around her, Irinya had no trouble finding sleep.::

OOC: Okay and now I go :D Bronze was a cool character. I was hoping he would stay.

Svyel left the front end of the castle courtyard and stopped to hop up on top of the tiger. It felt so warm and fuzzy up there that he wouldn't mind sleeping up there. The tiger purred again and the "stampede" resumed.
"Onward we go. I think the area that I need to go to is just outside of Bonnyvale." (OOC: Opposite end from where we are.) Svyel spoke in a low growl to the tiger and the tiger began to walk towards the dying forest.

OOC: Luke. Can the trees around Bonnyvale start looking a bit off and dead but won't die completely because of the nature spirit magic there. I have a plan for da story.

    IC:
Lukr stood on a small tree balcony with Fiona that over looked a large avenue through the trees, it was nothing more than a crushed dirt road but was the main street through Bonnyvale. A parade marched by below, hundreds of armor clad Faes marching with perfectt military precision. A long shield and spear regiment lead the front followed by a regiment of archers, then a regiment of sword. Luke felt thrilled the soldiers all marched in unison, so it sounded like a rythmic drum. "Magnificent." was all Luke said.

Fiona nodded, "We had to gather up all the Fae from the country side and here in Bonnyvale but we did, the face of this world hasn't seen a Fae army march in who knowd how long." Fiona looked down that was odd a few of the branhces on the tree they stood on had dead leaves on them, and was that a patch of rot? She shook head, but they were still there. Fiona felt a little woosy and almost fell forward, "Whoa whats wrong with you?" She pointed towards the dead leavs and rot but Luke didn't understand.

    DAY 1: EARLY DUSK
::Morgandy nodded and offered for Feanin to also ride on Augustine. She had been kept from traveling for quite some time, and could use the workout. Feanin agreed, and Morgandy hopped up onto Augustine behind him. They rode out of the city in the gathering dark. All around them the town Elves stopped and waved or nodded, smiling. Morgandy wondered if they knew of their mission. She shrugged. Soon they were out of the city gates, and Morgandy could see the near forest with its dying limbs and the places where the goblin camp had trampled grass earlier and where the carcasses had been, but someone must have buried them by now for they were gone, leaving behind only char...

    Same Time
...where the bodies had been piled and burned by Luke. Morgandy shivered to think of what Luke had done. Whether it was the right thing to do or not, this meant that Luke was very dangerous. Morgandy set her mind on other things as they started off on the dirt path towards the citadel. Twilight began to set in and stars started to appear in the blackening night sky. They were proabably going to have to travel through the night. Morgandy passed the time by singing songs from her home, and every so often Feanin joined in. Even though Morgandy knew they faced terrible dangers, she was so happy to finally be going home.

    7:00 AM OF DAY 2
Irinya woke as bright sunshine filled her room from the rising sun which was just rising over the mountain peaks. Morning birds sang and Irinya thought she heard the tramping of Unicorn, Satyr, or Faun hooves. Irinya rose out of bed with a smile; the past two nights she had had the most peaceful sleep in a very long time. She washed her face and combed out her tangled hair. Before leaving the room she threw on her travel gear from the night before, which had mysteriously been washed, patched up, and dried during the night. Irinya thought, probably by magic. After gathering her pack and bow and quiver, Irinya reluctantly left the room. Rode and Fern were also already dressed (in their recovered clothes) and ready to go in the hall. They greeted each other and just as they were wondering what to do, Syella came in through the hall door and greeted them. "As you can see I've washed and repaired your clothes...by magic," she said with a twinkle in her eye. "I expect you do not want to leave, as not many who enter Sprigg do, but you know your mission, and so must hurry. However, I have packed you some food for the journey, so if you would follow me..." She smiled and Fern said, "Thankee, milady Syella. We are in your debt to your gracious hospitality." Syella just smiled and blushed before opening the door again and leading them back into the dining hall. On the long table were several leather wrapped packages, three filled wineskins, and two filled waterskins. "Here you are," said Syella as she handed over the packages. "There is enough to last you for a good long time. Now, you'll not want to wander again through these caves for hours, so the route you want to take is through the far right passage. Follow it till you come to a fork. There, take the right fork and it will lead you till you come to a large opening in the cave. That is your way out. It shan't take more than about fifteen minutes I imagine." This time Rode spoke up and said, "Again, Lady Syella, thank you for your help and your hospitality. There are none, I am sure, who can surpass it." Syella beamed and hugged each of them in turn. "Farewell, good travelers, and may the luck of Dyerin* be with you." They waved before they turned and exited out of the door. The three took Syella's route and sure enough came out in the opening in fifteen minutes. They now stood before the far western edge of the forest. For the rest of the day, the three travelers traveled through the enchanted wood.::

*Dyerin was a famous Elf from ancient times. He had been a mere messenger of his Elven city, when on a mission had been encountered by a troop of goblins. Dyerin had never been a fighter, but even so he defended himself and beat out the goblins; some say by magic.

OOC: Pity Bronze left. Oh well.

Svyel enjoyed the ride on his white tiger. It felt warm and fuzzy. Really comfy. The melodious chanting of the 2 fae's whispered through the reccesses of Svyel's mind. He fell asleep on top of his white tiger. The tiger took note of this and walked a little more cautiously to help keep Svyel steady. But that wasn't really neccessary because the tiger was so wide.

    MIDNIGHT OF DAY 2
::They had traveled all through the night, and were all very exhausted. Finally they had reached the citadel though, in a faster time than the first time Morgandy had taken that path with Rode and Irinya. Morgandy was so relieved that they had made it this far, and without any attack. Weak with exhaustion, both Morgandy and Feanin almost slumped down in slumber. Morgandy suddenly remembered though, that they had better find some shelter to rest in. They could go into the citadel; that was, if they could be let in this late. The next day they could travel through Bonnyvale, to the southern edge. Morgandy relayed this information to Feanin and Svyel. They crossed onto the main dirt road, and up to the citadel gates that towered far above them. Feanin got off Augustine and warily rapped on the gatekeeper's hut door. A grille slammed open, and a man's sleepy face peered out at them with a lantern. He asked, "what be yer business?" He seemed to acknowledge that Morgandy and Feanin were Faes because he gawked at their wings and horns, and also gawked at Svyel's white tiger. "We are all weary travelers," Feanin began, "coming from the Elven Kingdom of Hillanya. We have traveled all night and need shelter." The man was cautious, but nodded and unlocked the gate for them to pass. Morgandy and Svyel began to enter the citadel, but Feanin lingered behind, saying, "Do you happen to know of any decent, vacant, and open inns in the citadel?" He handed the man a coin as he said, "Yes, the best one in town is the Cernunnos Inn. Very 'commodating, not too 'spensive either. They should be open. Just follow the main road. It's on the left side a'ways down." Feanin nodded to the man in thanks and followed Morgandy and Svyel in and told them of the inn. They found it, and it was luckily still open. The innkeeper seemed to be shooing the last drunken bar guests out. They reached him just in time, before he put the closed sign out. He let them have the three nicest rooms, for the inn was hardly occupied. Before they slept though, the innkeeper kindly let them eat at the bar to satisfy their empty stomachs.::

OOC: Hmmm.... That would be useful to know. But N E way.

Otiluke reached the elven castle and burst in somewhat uninvited. The king immedeatly ordered that his guards kill Otiluke. Otiluke Struggled against the throng of attackers while yelling "NO YOU IMBECILE! I HAVE A LETTER FOR THE FAES!" The king stopped at these words and snapped. "They left. And now... So will you." The guards threw Otiluke out the front door but not before he dealt some significant wounding lasserations to the gaurds. The large doors slammed shut and he ran up to them yelling "Where did they go?! I must find them." But there was no answer. "Fine then..." And he stalked of out of the kingdom.

Svyel Was still asleep upon the tiger's back but the promise of a warm bed grabbed his attention. Then he though "Bugger that. I have a walking, warm cuddly bed." And promptly went back to sleep.

OOC: That one note was when Svyel was riding on his tiger towards the inn in the city. You can pretty much figure out what happens after that. If you want more detail just ask. The thing about Otiluke is he is a day behind Margandy and them so he's only just arrived at the castle. I've been using the date time system to work out travel times. Otiluke should catch up to the rest of them in about another day.
