    System's listing: A duplicate called 'The Library of all Knowledge and Wisdon' appears on the first page. It leads to the 'empty catatagory' page that talkes about Grue.

    Same cat., Page 220 and 219 show errors.

    On page 217, one of your own entries has a error above it's link.

    Bug fixed but freetext autocomplete is wiped out. A recent freetext has a bad character that kills the rest of the javascript on the page. Freetext has to be cleaned up again, reviewed for duplicates (saw zombie, Zombies) and I have to come up with a check that corrects bad mojo.

    Locked Codices appear to be bugged, I can't add anything to http://strolen.com/viewing/3833. Neither can I remove the lock. (Looks like the gene-engineers are bug generators in more ways than one.)

    So yeah, going back over my NPC gripe, I found out that only some of the links are broken.

    All the rest work as they should...  Those ones all open up the most recent sub list.  I knew I wasn't crazy and that something was broke, I just faulty logiced my way into thinking that they were all broke, because I randomly clicked on 2 of the broken ones right after each other... :p


    All fixed awhile ago but you do get 10xp for finding them!

    The list of subs under Hall of Honour Recipients on the View all Recent page of user profiles seem to be off. I only have 3 of my subs ever earning a HoH but according to the list, all but 1 of my subs have been HoHed.
    I also checked that it's not just my profile that's weird. Lots of other people's View All Recent page also have this inconsistency.

    Pariah and Pieh got updated XP on XP tracking page for the stuff they found as well. Just didn't want to spam this thread with a ton of fixed comments...but I will do a few.

    Pieh:

    Noticed in 30 Medical Texts, cosmetic:

    The long titles of those books, that are broken into multiple lines, are too squeezed together vertically (checked in both FF and Oprah). Might need some CSS adjustment.

    Oh, and I believe, that when a sub is submitted the first time, its submitted date should equal updated at that moment - otherwise won't the newly submitted pieces be seen on the Most Recent.

    Recent Pages: I may have discussed it elsewhere, how it is working is the best I can do without developing the background to track seen/not seen. Currently it checks you cookie time and compares that last update to whatever is on the site. Whatever anomolies the cookie goes through with its updates are all recent has to go by. I am open for suggestions on how to work it. There is a thread somewhere discussing the different tracking options I believe. Will look for it if I get a chance after doing some site updates.

    submitted/updated times: did I fix that? Hate to put in a crap test submission if it is working.

    Traveled around the system pages for a bit but couldn't catch anything. Let me know if this is still happening. Would need sort order you are using and you can paste the exact link you found the error at as well, that would be handy.

    10xp for reporting this and the other bug you fixed that I was useless in helping.

    Images are not aligned - they seem to stagger down the page diagonally.

    Could we add images to a summary? That would open up LOTS of options.

    Interesting thought...but save it and don't sidetrack me. :)

    First I have to get a site people like to use, then we start with more tricks! ;)

    Alignment fixed, took a bit to try and find the css to fix it. Simple though min-height fixed it.

    The front page images are the author's forum icon. (And should be limited to 25x25 px if not removed. Hah.)

    Bug wise: Submissions removed from in-work and posted are not going to the top of the 'new submission' pile, instead, they are being added to that list wherever their initial entry puts them.

    I'm not sure this is a bug or if I misunderstood something.
    When I click on "Input Idea" (in my User Page), the URL in the address bar changes from strolen/ideas/edit to strolen/ideas/view.
    (I posted about this in the Greetings Traveller section too, but maybe it was more appropriate here)

    Railus recently posted an In Work - Viewable sub titled Alexei Valentus Escriva, and now cannot find it. It seem that it either the submit did not go through, or it is floating between spaces somewhere. I shall perform some experiments and report back.

    Hello, Strolen! Just reporting a problem with entry submissions. Simply put, I'm trying to submit a new entry, but every time I click on it, not only does it not submit the entry, it also simply leads me to this web address: http://strolen.com/exploring
    I've talked with some other guys, and I don't believe that this is an isolated incident.

    I just submitted a submission, I was also brought to the same page, but the sub was accepted into my in-work (which I quickly changed to Normal, since I only checked off In Work- Public as a precaution). But the problem may be with a certain options within the sub. This may be related with what happened to Railus. Thank for the report, angry.

    Something is wrong with HOH today - I voted a sub HOH this morning - Button's magic Buttons, but it did not appear.

    Also,it looks like Creepers Tavern has been HOH'd for more then 24 hours with a single vote.

    Prefer the way the interface was prior to today with three columns. 1 does not do it for me.. :)

    That's new... I started writing a sub and by the time I was done... *poof!* Only 1 column. Did I do that? Sorry if I did.

    A request rather than a bug.

    We appear to have lost the Printer Friendly Version that was available in V1.0 and V2.0.

    This was actually an extemely useful feature. When I want to use one of these posts in my games, I find it much more convenient to print out a hard copy to work with.

    So, can we have it back please?

It just seems kind of strange to display 1 - 10, then 12 - 31. It leaves an annoying zone where one of the more recent subs will go unnoticed until a new one is posted.

    100xp for finding that I made it so only certain higher levels could get in there....Actually is was a pretty weird if statement so not sure who had access. Anybody logged in should now be able to add but the edit portion is going to need some work.

    I got out the shovel and did some digging. Couldn't find Alexei Valentus Escriva anywhere in the database so it looks like it never took for some reason. Have no idea how those submissions are going all whacky either.

    - I want the shoutbox back! In other words, also visible in the main page of the forums; and visible (read-only) when logged out.

    - As anonymous, the submission text is underlined onmouseover, and just noticed the same happens with codex submissions even if logged in. Something eats the end tags.

    - Favorites list title unformatted (example). (And where can they all be viewed anyway?)

    - Show online users even offline.

    Shoutbox. Took me 4 dang hours and a forum upgrade to get it to work. You can see why I have been ignoring it. But it seems to work but we lost some of the customization on it I think. But lets experiment with the newest version. I set it to show the last 15 submissions over the last 200 hours so stuff should stay up for awhile. I also allowed the who is online on the main part viewable by guests as well. Will not be visible when logged out....just cause. Don't need spiders eating it and I would have to do more with keeping guests from using it than I am willing to do. Ajax is cool, but it also turns other things into a pain.

    New Since Last Visit is buggy for many reasons, none of which I can control without developing an entire database system to track which subs you have looked at since last visit. Right now it works off a cookie that, depending on your browsing, will hold only for a little bit. I put it up there as an experimental attempt and I have the research to do it, just not super high on the priority list because it is a major feature upgrade from a coding standpoint.

    They are now. Updated subs with comments will now appear in "Recently Updated" and "Recent Comments"
