Siren and CM, an approximation of the terrain you currently find yourselves in. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#722Alright, warning to Siren and Muro: my post will be delayed by at least a day, possibly more.
A large amount of unexpected work just came up, which reduces my time to almost nothing. Sorry gents. I'll post when I can. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#723In Homecomings, the ruin of Professor Femaister's encampment apparently happened the night before. The camp is in a small, sloping meadow adjacent to the road, while the "dig" proper is downslope 50 yards, where some sort of structure has been partially excavated from the sloping ground.
Night will fall within one and 1/2 hours. You will want to decide whether to investigate the camp and dig site further, or whether you want to set up camp somewhere first. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#724right, sorry, bare with me. Writing tonight.
I can safely say that once i "teleport" you to the Ogre Hills with the next post, we'll get rolling!! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#725Wheee. You don't have to be a bard to sing. Or even sing well. Hee. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#726Homecomings Crew: For the sake of the night's camp, I have assumed that you would have two-man watches and keep a cold camp, with no fire to give away your position.
Unless you have a strong preference, I was assuming that you would have one NPC and one PC on watch at all times, with Vee watching first, since he doesn't have spells to study.
A suggested schedule might be:
Vee and Czolba
then
Kadarin and Mouse
then
Dujek and Delsordo
Any opinions? The half-moon will set a little after midnight. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#727What be a Verbeeg? Echo has never heard of one and thus does not know how many XP they earn. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#728hehe, they are worth quite a bit!
Well, assuming that the Verbeeg haven't changed too much, my 2nd Ed Monster Manual tells me that they're basically moderately intelligent, weak giants, who prefer to throw spears while using ogres as cannon fodder. Apparently they can eat anything, but prefer flesh. Watching them is supposed to be amusing, because the giants and ogres they work with are too stupid to pull off all the Verbeeg's plans, which usually greatly annoys the verbeeg.

*rolling involved in post*
Siren, some bad D20's apparently :P. They dont like you. 18, 19 to hit 6, 7 for damage. Oh, and you're bleeding badly too.
Good luck! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#730A nice GM would have rolled d12 to attack! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#731Muro/Siren: Sorry, would have posted last night, but for some reason the Citadel wouldn't load. I'll get to it tonight, I promise. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#732... I have started learning the basics of herbalism IRL just so I can post knowledgeably of a minor skillset of Adan's abilities. ... ... ... I have too much free time.
-
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#733your herbs wont help you now! bwhahahahahahaha
Post coming for Convergence and Wind tomorrow! -

#735Now with a bumper sticker! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#736I swear I'm not slacking...Well, okay, possibly, but only because I'm at home and enjoying a vacation from school...I'll get back on the posting rampage within the next few days. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#737Will post everywhere tonight. Sorry for delay. Busy weekend (and Monday) -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#738taking tomorow off from work (Wednesday), will be posting in all RP's like a madman, starting tonight.
Thank you. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#739Pariah, your turn! There seem to be several bodies littering the camp: Fertile ground for necromantic endeavour! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#740... We have an all-holy-man party in Where the Wind Blows. We cannot cast "Create Water". *Bangs his head off the wall repeatedly.* -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#741Wahahaha! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#742I will be a goner for the weekend. If the GM wishes, he can have me on autopilot. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#743Sorry I took so long to post, guys. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#744And on that note, sorry, I've been away. Will be back on Thursday to post everywhere once more! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#745:?: Have the ogres noticed us? I ask for I wonder if we can evade/ambush them. Also, what about the birds? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#746The "ogres" have not noticed you yet. No birds in site. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#747Well, it was nice to know that we were switching to the Convergence thread...In all truth, I needed to read all of the thread anyways. I assume you just want Siren and I to post in Convergence from now on Muro? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#748Yes please, CM. Sorry if I didnt let you know earlier. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#749Muro, edited my last post in Convergance for Uber-bow. Go for it. -

#750http://img47.imageshack.us/img47/2770/jantircity12vh5.png
For the love of heaven, full-view it. It looks muuuuuuch better. (Unless you're Ria, in which case your connection will probably die a horribly painful death...) -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#751Pretty -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#752I'm emerging from my shell. No really, I am! Will post here anew! No more promises and guarantees, but I will pick this up again quite seriously very soon. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#753Oh, and for the record, that is NOT the final picture. That's just a version to show off, since you guys have been waiting for so long for a stinkin' map of Jantir. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#754What's needed to kick Homecomings into gear? Were you waiting for me to make the next move? The team has Vee's scouting report and the rough draft of a plan; I was waiting for your action.
-
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#755I'll try and post tonight... -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#756See? I knew it was pointless to plan. Plans never work. And I knew we'd end up getting hands on. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#757Not too quick now. If Kyrian does manage to convince BB to go mano-a-mano (a long shot, I know), we might could prepare to get the jump on the others when it goes down. And I'm still really hoping Voro heard us and is charging at them with much malice and fury. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#758Its on homeys! Bring it! Come strong or dont come at all!
 -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#759Then I reckon we ought to disregard my previous post and loose the hounds of war. :P -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#760Muro, re: our last chat: http://www.strolen.com/guild/index.php/topic,3443.msg50084.html#msg50084
I can't find anything where you changed your mind or anybody else stood up and volunteered for the position, so I've been assuming you were keeping track of hp. Also, when Adan and Tristan got smacked around, there weren't any numbers given out, and nothing about how much was healed either. So, while Adan knows his through talking with you, I do not.
Truthfully, I don't really need to know. A general, "You feel a bit hurt, but still can fight." would be good, and all I really need. I just wanna know my combat capability before going suicidal.
