#683Homecoming Loot:
Leaden Coffer, tied shut with string. (Jewelry Value: At least 10 g.p.)
Scroll Case, cast of Amber Paste (Jewelry Value: At least 40 g.p.)
8 Pages written in an unknown cipher
Mysterious Shopping List
Shiny Broadsword, only used once (Value: 18 g.p.)
Small Saddlebags (Value 2 g.p.)
Woman's Belt, with small pockets and tassels (5 g.p., if you want it)
Of course, you may wish to examine the items more closely. I'll need to know what you guys want to do with the items. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#684Well, depending upon what actually happens in game:
Dujek - Detect magic on this stuff?
Kadarin - Identify on anything worthwhile, eventually. Will also attempt to transcribe the cipher into my own notebooks as time allows - ie. by campfires, etc.
And we are going to bring everything - either to return or sell as fate determines...

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#685random thoughts
--Wulf will take over the Three Mages--Homecomings, GM'ing duties. Go Wulf!
--Ssembra just became Jantir, via revisionist history.
--Reckonings gang, we left off with the guards warning you of the dangers south of Ganse.
--I think we'll officially stop counting XP in OOC. I'll keep track of everything in the background
--Holy-Men gang, we left off with Rancis hiding from Adan in a hole. We will begin some time later, as per chat.
--could use some last minute character thoughts/goals/mindsets (got it from Ria and Siren so far)
--any spellcasters anywhere, *DO* need to keep track of their level and spells (obviously).
--we will scratch most of the unnecesarry equipment and stuff found that no one wanted anyway. We'll start sparse again, though any item you feel you want to retain, no problem, just let me know. I have completely lost track of who has what.
--we *DO* need a GP party count. It may be annoying to keep track of...but we NEED to know how much coin you people have at any given time. The verisimilitude dies, without that.
Lets all have fun, and kick some arse!
erm, I'm forgetting something. What am I forgetting?

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#686I have no idea, but I am eager to play. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#687...That it was actually Adan who had trapped Rancis in the hole, and Tristan was off trying to catch the 4 adepts who scattered like mice? [Fixed in Muro's post]
...Perhaps Ssembra and Jantir are actually one and the same already, they just happen to be called differently by different people? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#688As any Jantiri historian will tell you, Ssembra was the "old" name for the area. Once ruled by the native Khefara culture, the folk of the South settled nearby and built the small, peaceful town of Jantir. The savage Khefarans, in their typically savage fashion, were displeased that the Southfolk were settling in their pagan holy lands. They viciously attacked Jantir, but the Southfolk - led by the first Dynast - bravely defended it and killed the entire populace. Jantir soon expanded into Ssembra and made it part of the new city. The scattered Khefarans and other nay-sayers offer an alternate history and call the port area Ssembra, and the docks themselves are commonly named as such, but it is officially within Jantiri territory.
Or so I hear. -

#689Homecomings party:
Do you have a set marching order, or are you rotating who's on point? Do you have "standing orders" for your mercs? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#690In cas my post was unclear: The trail here follows the path of an overgrown Imperial road. The road runs along a valley, climbing slowly.
Ahead, perhaps 40 yards up the trail, is the clearing with the fountain. To your right, and slightly ahead, a small pond (with altogether too many bones in it) is visible between the pines and undergrowth. It is perhaps 20 yards distant and about 20 feet below the level of the road. To the left, a rocky slope leads steeply upward, covered with gnarled pines, some grass, and low shrubs.
The slope can be safely climbed, if you wish to circle around the pond and the clearing. It would be arduous, but not terribly hazardous. On the other hand, getting into a fight on the slope could be quite unpleasant. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#691In answer to the question about other routes, there are other paths, but there is no guarantee that they are any safer.
You would lose about two days of travel time and have to cross a barely passable ford, but one path would take you out of the dreaded Judgelands and to the town of Hollyoak. From there, you could travel better roads to Nimz. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#692Wonder if Czolba is wearing a red shirt????

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#693I'm in process of packing this week, fighting with contractors, and generally swamped with moving complications. I was trying to get the other AuR games going this past weekend, but a funeral and other real life things, got in the way. I wont be on much this week, but will make 2 GM posts (Reckonings and Wind Blows) by end of the week. Unfortunately my internet at home, will be down a few days, until i set up shop in new place.
thank you. -

#697I'll need a bit more time for Voro's post... He needs to discuss Maegla's future with her and thinks the egg should go back to its parents. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#698No omelet for Voro? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#699I was thinking the same thing yesterday :) (omelet). But Wulf assured me that Voro is a dedicated PETA rep. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#702Ne, if anyone at the gypsy camp scene wants to talk to Talia, they'll have to go to her. She's not coming back up until we start the next day, but she doesn't mind people coming to talk to her. -

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#710No, Aerex, don't be a puppy, the girls don't appreciate it! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#711Grandfather closed the flaps of the tome he was reading out loud to his grandaughter. The young girl was sobbing, big, fat, wet tears, streaming down her cheeks, yet a smile graced her cherubic face.
"That was beautiful grandpa! But what happened to them next? I must know, I must!"
"Patience child, another tale of their adventures and romance should soon be written. Now off to bed!"
The girl kissed her grandfather on the cheek, and curled up beneath the covers, dreaming of gypsies and rangers, and love. Most of all, love.
Grandfather rose gingerly and approached his bookshelf. He stuck the dusty tome back in its spot, right between Romeo and Juliette and Bonnie and Clyde.
'Talia and Aerex', these tales were quickly becoming his granddaughter's favorite stories. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#712Wow. That was great Muro. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#713XD
I think we're definitely closer to Bonnie and Clyde. If we go down, by god we'll take 'em down with us. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#714:lol: -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#715Naught but Aerex and Talia
The gentle warrior and the white azalea
Of love, their love, could know for sure
Whatever, ever, was it for?
Whichever lives they chose to lead
Together, they did they choose to bleed
Together walk the mirrored world
Their lives entwined, their souls unfurled.
A kiss of hope, a brush with fate
For love and death, was bound; entangled
Love lost and found, amidst the wait.
A tender lament, the moment strangled

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#716Tomorrow, on Homecomings: Leaving the Judgelands behind, the party continues along the bloodstained road to Nimz. Will the legacy of an evil warlord come between them?
Stay tuned! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#717I strongly suggest that in Convergence, we hold some discussion IC about where our path shall lead us. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#718Second that statement. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#719I'm back! And now I can hide away in my computer den/office from the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse several rooms and staircases away!! BWAHAHAHAHAAHA!!
I strongly suggest that in Convergence, we hold some discussion IC about where our path shall lead us
.
Second that statement.
I concur! Especially since GM post is coming late tonight or first thing tomorrow morning.
Will be posting in Wind Blowers as well. Prepare yourselves, Triguians!
