Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#761Where have CM's hitpoints gone? Has anyone seen them? :dunno:
Hmm, i do remember a crossbow bolt impaling your hand. That must have hurt. We'll say you have 13 left. Works for you? :P -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#762Works for me, even though I used a heal spell on myself. I'd say I've still got some damage. I only used Cure Light Wounds after all. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#763Will be posting on tonight. Woot! Giving Wulfhere and Echo a chance to post as well in the meantime. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#764I'm rather liking this. It's starting to get interesting, and the rapid-fire posting of the past few days has really sped things up. Woo! Can we keep it up through the Christmas season?
...Probably not. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#765Echo posted. Echo diligent. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#766I hope we can! :D I think through most of Christmas, I'll be pretty good. Christmas Day is a little sketch, but I'm sure it would be for most folks. How many are traveling for Christmas/Kwanzaa/Hanukkah/Eid al-Adha/Festivus/Non-religiously Affiliated Optimistic Wintertime Day? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#767I'm good through the new year-ish. The brood prevents most "out" plans. So, other than Christmas eve/morn and New Year's eve/morn...I'm good! (woot!)
Non-religiously Affiliated Optimistic Wintertime Day?
 -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#768Wanted to cover my bases. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#769Non-religiously Affiliated Optimistic Wintertime Day?
I believe they call it the Winter Solstice. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#770
Non-religiously Affiliated Optimistic Wintertime Day?
I believe they call it the Winter Solstice.
No, I know at least one brand of pagan that celebrates that as a religiously affiliated optimistic Wintertime Day. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#771Sorry! rough night last night. Tonight, there will be postage! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#77210:54 pm: Siren, while we're at it...how many hp's do you normally have?
Dozus shuffles through the forums.
Murometz shuffles too
[Siren no Orakio] 10:55 pm: I want to say 17?
10:55 pm: I know you want to..but how many?
10:55 pm: really
[Siren no Orakio] 10:55 pm: I'm looking
[Siren no Orakio] 10:55 pm: I dunno
10:55 pm: fair enough...17 works
[Siren no Orakio] 10:55 pm: You dropped a trap on me and shot me in the throat twice
10:55 pm: Yup, I lost another 4 before from Yoorg. So I'm at a distressing 8 HP.
[Siren no Orakio] 10:55 pm: I've never been at full HP
10:55 pm: Heh heh
Can everyone please post their full hit points. Then I'll track it. :P -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#773Oh lord... you would ask that. I'll post as soon as I find it, which will be god knows when. -

#775No clue what the starting HP for a cleric is, nor how much I get added per level, but there's the relevant info. Tristan is level 2, as far as I know.
1D8 + CON bonus, which you do not have, so his total hp would be 2D8. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#776I can't find my actual hit point total anywhere; all I know is I have a CON of 14. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#777ok, so no con bonus...you're 3rd level. From this day forward your full hit points are (3d10) 22.
CM, we'll go with 15 for you. (otherwise you'd be dead now :P)
Siren, 17
3 down, more to go. -

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#783... Shot in the butt by his own 'brother' and chased by zombies. Limper is having an awful day. I feel special now. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#784You're all one Kyrian strike away from the end of the Verbeeg Episode, Loot, LEVELS `(!!), and further good times. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#785Does that deserve a woo? Yes, yes I think it does.
WOO! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#786Five Verbeeg are dead, and one had run off as quickly as his bandy legs could carry him, across the darkening landscape.
Killed/Defeated: 6 Verbeeg
Loot:
Mundane: Some big but cheap Verbeeg spears and other such weapons. A few bad mail shirts of ringmail, and two fairly huge but workable crossbows. Huge iron-linked fighting-chain.
A combined 144 gp and 77 sp. Adan’s Hellschwort signet ring
sack with stolen “trinkets” bracelets, rings, various holy symbols (including those of Trigu), and such. Combined value approximately 100gp, stuff they stole from travellers. Also, Adan and Tristan's "stuff"
A whistle which calls forth the trained pack of Black-Crowned Eagles. The call is never heeded after sunset, and is quite useless actually away from the area of the Ethddos Gorge, and to those who are unfamiliar with Borgradoc’s training technique. But it will call them by day. They would come, hover expecting further arm signals and gestures, or certain whistle patterned calls.
Borgradoc’s Book. A dog-eared manual, written by the infamous and erstwhile philosopher-Dynast Tastryx Achiello, entitled “How to Rule”.
Special: Lochaber Axe*, Borgradoc’s Ring*, Borgradoc’s Ring II*, ornate, mermaid-shaped dirk*
*requires Identify spells
Though the “special” items are not identified, you get xp for them now too.
Everyone gains one level.
HP rolls:
Kyrian 7
Vorodon 11 (mighty, mighty)
Aerex 5
Tristan 4 (and another spell or 2 Woot )
Talia 6
Mirinar no, not yet.
Adan see Mirinar
You can also at this time, post in OOC if you want to purchase provisions and equipment in Cottar’s Bale, fix anything? (good smiths the ogres be), and other such things. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#787Ah, I just need to repair my plate and my Kyrian. I take Borgy's head; the ogres will love to see it now that it is unattached to the rest of Borgy, albeit still ugly. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#788If no one stops him, Adan will claim his ring, his fair share of the gold and trinketry (Last and least valuable looking), and bury the non Triguian holy symbols, in individual graves, in honor to the spirits of those who bore them. If it comes to it, he'll sacrifice his own share of the trinketry to do so. He does not show interest in the magical items.
In Cotter's Bale, he'll give a portion of whatever loot he finds ( At least 3 gold's worth, but no more than 25% of the loot he got ) to what ever of the poorest families catch his eye. He'll also try to pick up a human sized longbow and arrow, and get that punctured gorget of his fixed. Also on the list is the strongest liquor he can buy, something without sugar in it. He'll do his best to treat party's wounds in general, as well, as much as permitted. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#789Tristan will probably do something similar to Adan. Triguian symbols will take priority, to be given to the churches in Jantir when they arrive there. The rest of the loot is lumped into the 'blood money' category, and he won't deal with it. (excluding his and Adan's stolen items, of course)
His fair share of the raw cash will be divided up into four sections: tithe - 15%; charity - 70%; 'the group' supplies (if needed, otherwise lumped in with the charity) - 5%; kept in case of need - 10% (the rest of it).
The enormous charity section is largely due to the (obviously) stolen nature of the items and money. He'll take his share of the money (as opposed to leaving it) simply because it can be put to a good use making restitution for the damage caused by the ambushers. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#790Hrm, well, the only thing I need to do is get Talia's fans sharpened; is there a smith in Cotter's Bale who deals with exotic weapons, or will I need to wait until the city?
Also, baths and clean clothes are in order, XD.
Being a practical and rather materialistic person, Talia's keeping all of her share of the money. If we can get certain things identified, I suppose we can work out who gets what later. *grin*
Oh, I do want to either claim or buy three or four small peices of non-magical jewelry, I don't care what. (You'll see why later.) -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#791Aerex would like to have his rapier and dagger looked at in Cottar's Bale to see if they need repair, and perhaps purchase some thicker armor (chainshirt? What's just above leather armor?) He could use a better quality shortbow, but won't expect to find one among the Volgottoi.
He'll claim his share of the loot, giving a third to Maegla to help her get started with the child raising.
Oh, and he'll take "How To Rule" just for kicks. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#792Kyrian will take his share, though, he is willing to carry the symbols of gods he views positively to churches in Jantir - a little walking and chitchat is worth the gods' favor.
As for the cash, while he keeps it, it surely will trickle away to girls, bards and innkeeps in Jantir, meaning that a good deal of it is actually charity.
As for the magic stuff, I think after it is identified, we split it, the dagger should go to Aerex, seeing that noone else uses butterknives. The lochaber axe most probably to Voro.
-
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#793
It should be noted that Mirinar is also a butterer of bread.

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#794Alrighty, we seem to have finally reached our destination. What now? Do we all split and rejoin at a later, predetermined time? I'm assuming we aren't splitting up again, since Muro put us back together. Speaking of which, Muro, when is our next railroa...er, GM post?
If we're all splitting up, Tristan's order of events is: visit a Temple of Trigu, get rid of that bloody mace, replace it with a sturdy staff, and hunt down the Symposium. After that, it's up in the air. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#795I am for visiting the Temple district, too: we can deliver all the Hol(e)y Symbols.
Kyrian has to get in touch with some underworld elements (I guess there might be some favorable to him, such as someone from a crime family who used to bet money on him, thieves he used to work with, some les lawful ex of his?) to start gathering leads on my quarry. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#796If we're not going to split up, then I meta-suggest we start by getting a couple of rooms at an inn somewhere to serve as a base of operations. If nothing else, too much steel in our clothing is going to attract attention that some of us don't need, and we have three people in massive chunks-o-armor.
Given that particular bit, Adan is going be as non descript as he can before heading to the temple of Trigu with Tristan. Afterwards depends strongly on what happens there. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#797Yep. Post coming tomorrow (Friday) and every day after that thru New year.
Yep. All good thoughts, will be implemented. We'll have a base of operations of sorts, and then everyone can do what they want and go where they want. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#798Voro would like the lochaber axe, and wouldn't mind one of the rings, if nobody else has claimed them yet. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#799I think we were identifying before distributing the rings. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#800Aye. No point of giving Voro a Ring of Wizardry or Seal of Holiness or Sigil of Stealth!
