#323So... what are we missing, now that the whirlwind is gone?
When Anonymous/BH, the 'Recent Posts' are strangely shortened to 5 or so posts. Also, it is bare Simple Machines Forum.
Still no shoutbox in the forums.
It seems also, that all submissions have all their comments marked as new, even the really old ones.
In the main site, 'Users Online' links lead nowhere (funnily enough usernames in the chatroom are linked to their profiles).
Hmmm... I commented on a sub, it succeeded, but the following warning showed up three times on the top:
Warning: Unknown column 'a.emailAddress' in 'field list' in /home/strolen/ez_sql.php on line 760
The textbox for forum posts is surprisingly small. Gotta play with the styles.
Anything else? -

#325I am so torn. Some of these sound easy but I can easily burn multiple nights working on them.
Should I fix all the bugs or only go for the critical ones? I am DYING to keep moving on 3.0 when I get my moments.

#329I've noticed that ever since the accidental upgrade, the forum navigation links have been missing from the bottom of the page. I vaguely remember this happening last time too. Is it a custom bit? -

Can't find nobody by that 'der name.
when I click on someone's name under users online on the main page, not sure if if does it on the forum pages (will check). Strolen, you sure did screw up the site pretty well, didn't you? Oh well, makes things more interesting.
Edit: The link to names at the bottom of the forum page seems to go to the right place. :) -

#334One more disconnects: in the main site, Initiated and Last Sojourn in the user's profile both show the current date.

And this is another thing for the linking collection: as can be demonstrated here, it's not possible to create a full text link to a name with an exclamation mark. -

#335Ok, another one I noticed:
On seemingly everyone's main page profile the "Initiated" Date and the "Last Sojurn" Date seems read "Apr 8, 2008 05:38 " at the moment, now thats odd... because for me it is actually still the 7th... and.. well.. Just thought I'd point that out. I checked my forum profile, that seems to be in order (with the correct initiation date). -

#337Fixed the user page dates. It showed the wrong date for you Pieh because it uses the server time.
That exclamation point will be fixed in 3.0. -

#341Shoutbox is almost there. Can't post anything but you can see it. It is not officially supported on the new forum yet so am trying to make it work.
Fixed the theme for BH.
Textbox seems fine on all my browsers? Box is called by a function which will require some hunting. -

#342I have my citadel-side profile set up to email me when I get a new comment on my subs. My email address is correct forum-side. However, I'm not getting notified of comments. Am I doing something wrong? -

#345Your preferences are to only get emails when a sub of yours has been commented on. So I found one and commented just to double check.
That might be a bug if you don't get an email then. -

#349It did use to do that. The forum will have to be reloaded again so I didn't mess with a lot of the smaller stuff like that.
No promises on getting that fixed before the 3.0 changeover and then I will have to rebuild the forum anyway so probably won't mess with it till we are solid. -

#350I encounted a problem when submitting my latest item The Rune of Admini. I clicked submit, but had not entered a summary. I was relieved that this mistake was caught, added one and immediatly clicked submit again. Then, upon viewing the finished sub... Ther were NO spaces and everywhere i had done a return were the letters "rnrn" and I had to do a bit of editing to fix it. This is the first time I've had such a problem, and can easily be avoided by making sure everything is filled out before submitting a submission. But, you might want to look into it. -

Re Pariah: what's the issue? More Pariahs can be only better. :)
But there seems to be some general problems with the displaying of Users Online, as of the Newest Submissions. Let us try to visualize Strolen in our minds, and maybe it will help. ;)

Oh, and one thing, that has changed:
The Hall of Honour votes are now only available on submissions older than three days. This is so as to not needlessly bring to the foreground the newest submissions, which everybody sees anyway, but rather the older stuff. Let them be worth it! -

#360Actually, it does work from the main site - it is a teeny bit broken if tried from the forums.
Another secret feature for those that know how to use them. ;)
