Doesn't the registration process have a "verify your sentience" function? You know, one of those images of random letters and numbers that has to be entered exactly, to prevent bots from registering?

I thought I had it set actually. I now require email verification to enable the account. At least that is one extra step they have to go through to do it. See how far that takes us.

Yeah, they are all written by the same person with the same grammar mistakes. Probably some Russian with relatively decent english skills working for some marriage agency or something. As for posting on this site... Well, we do feature a number of financially well situated geeks... It makes sense to me.

Fortunately the site also feature moderators who are unrelenting and merciless!

Actually she is quite nice. She is currently staying at the Moscow Asylum for the non-sane, she is a Aries (same as me!), enjoys American hamburgers and wants to visit Seattle. She is nicely mannered and types cute. I sent her my bank account number and PIN the other day so that she could deposit some money into my savings account which will help me buy her a plane ticket to the states.

I think it will be fun to finally meet her.

Even after I sent you that pm I am itching to delete it.

The only thing that is keeping me is that it is a free .pdf but that is on par with the diceman right now and annoys the hell out of me.

If it suddenly disappears you won't find me arguing....if you even beat me to it...quickly getting to that threshold thinking about it.

Going to upgrade to the next version of this forum software then. Will get ugly for a bit once I start. Will announce it. It has captcha checks default in it and it would be better if I upgraded to get that then adding another hack. Hopefully that will stop a couple of them.

Otherwise, they are not Barbarian Horde. They are actual registered accounts that get the email, and activate their account. (unless you are talking about main Citadel spam) Only other option is have admin/mod approval of members and I don't want to do that at all. Would rather deal with the spam.

All the spam that gets deleted off the board is sent to a "wastebasket" so I ban every spam post that you guys delete, just to let you know.
