The Game
You just lost The Game.
There is a game that exists for the sole purpose of amusing the internet. The internet is a malicious being that can force all sorts of insanity upon the reckless wielder. Be careful when using the internet, because you have just started to play... The Game.
The Game
The Game is a game that everyone plays, eventually they will lose. But then, once they have forgotten about that loss, The Game begins anew for them. To play The Game you must simply exist. To lose The Game you must think about the game. By reading this article, and every time you think about this article, you have lost The Game.
But... How do we win The Game?
Simple. You don't. You play and play, whether you want to or not. And this pleases the internet, and keeps if from doing things that could spell our doom. So... Keep on browsing the internet, keep on playing The Game. One day the game will end, and that day will be The End of Days... The Apocalypse.
But... How does this have anything to do with Role-Playing Games?

The Game has ended. The internet stop functioning as we know it, by using the internet we become trapped in a strange warped reality we helped create with all of our ideas! Everything exists here, yet nothing can save us. The players battle through ages of junk to find the Heart of the Internet and destroy it.
- Whoa, did time just stop? -
People all over the world have been heard saying this, "Whoa. Did time just stop?" It turns out that this is happening when someone loses The Game. You need to find a way to end The Game before time stops forever!
- The Games have just begun. -
Soon The Game is not only on the internet, but in everyones lives. TV screens will change to display the message "You just lost The Game!" and you may be trying to print out some information, but all you get it a sheet of paper that just repeats, "You just lost The Game!" What do we do? Who is behind this?
The Game is a meant to be a nuisance rather than a full out threat, but it can get serious. Some people just can't stand losing a game. Mass chaos could ensue.

For those wondering: The Game is an actual meme, extremely contagious and almost impossible to be rid of. Check on Wikipedia for more information about it. Thankfully, due to the XKCD webcomic, there exists a cure for this virulent memetic contagion.
Very strange indeed. Finding the wiki entry helped somewhat, as did following the link to the White Bear Phenomenon. I would suggest adding these links to the submission, since otherwise this kinda seems really loopy and doesnt make any sense to someone who doesnt already know about the game.
My take, Dont think about 'the game' is about as effective as telling someone to not look down.

The Heart of the Internet can't be destroyed. Instead of a heart, it has a wadded-up ball of hate. The Internet hates us, and thus it created the Game for the sole purpose of making our poor brains hurt.

Suddenly I post crap and everyone comes out of the woodwork to discuss/bash it? You guys need to pop out when I post something interesting.

Remember, we almost all touch base with the site every day or so. So we are here, even if it does not seem like we are.
It is a function of associative synergy. The more that is posted, the more people post. You put out two, that rubbed the magic stones together and move people to do things. Now we have a new one from someone else. I have a couple of scroll posts. and other things will happen. Just keep posting and commenting.
While I am not saying that this is crap Pieh, frankly I understand after reading your comment what your intended purpose for it was. Mid way through it I was rather stumped as to the purpose of the sub. It lacked any real meat and flavor, and frankly I felt bad about reading it as I haven't been here in ages and one of the first three posts I read was this.
However. Should you do as Sras suggests and post some containing links with more information and fill in some obvious blank spots I think it could be a definate Strolen original idea sub. COnspiracy theory and all. Its not bad, but Ive read much better.
