Julia Zwhagger

Julia went from riches to rags...

35 xp 6,287 views

Special Equipment:

She carries nothing unique. Just an old, wooden staff and traveling bag.

Appearance:

Julia is very short, standing at about 5'2. She's is twenty-four years old. Julia has long blonde hair and light brown eyes. She is very thin. When traveling, Julia wears a man's tunic, breeches, and boots. Everything is very big on her, she ties string around her clothes to keep them on. When she's not traveling, she wears a simple pink dress that has low neckline and peasant sleeves. When working, she wears an ugly brown dress.

Background:

Julia was born to very wealthy parents. Unfortunately, her parents considered Julia a mistake. They barely paid the girl any attention, but out of parental obligation, they showered Julia with many presents. Growing up, Julia was a spiteful child. She was mean to everyone that crossed her path and cared nothing for the mishaps of others.

One day, a group of thieves accidentally murdered her parents while trying to rob them. She gave her parents a beautiful funeral and went through mourning like a loving daughter, though in actuality, she didn't feel all that sad.

Naturally, Julia inherited her parent's fortunate.

Soon after, Julia met a wealthy young man and fell deeply in love with him. They married and lived pretty happily for a while. One day, the young man had gotten terribly drunk with some friends. At some point, he decided that it would be very funny to march naked down the street while singing. Predictably, he was arrested. It was then discovered that young man had a number debts that he could not pay because he had acquired a number of gambling debts and he had squandered Julia's inheritance money. Julia divorced him and he has remained in jail since then.

Without a penny to her name and heartbroken, Julia was forced to sell many of her expensive possessions. It was a hard thing for Julia to do, and it took her a long time to get use to living like a commoner. After taking what money she earned from selling her things, she decided to learn magic and travel. Julia's travels were uneventful for the most part. But she did meet a group of thieves that took her in for a while. During her time spent with them, Julia became a little nicer towards people.

Finally, she decided to settle down one day and took a job as a waitress in a local tavern. She is a terrible waitress, but she hears many rumors and secrets. Julia has all the latest gossip and is the prime source for all the news happening around the world.

She is a weak fighter and an inept magic user, as she had to teach herself. The majority of the time, her spells are weak or don't work at all. But whenever her life is in immediate danger, she's unable to escape, and all her comrades are fallen, she is able to cast powerful spells.

Roleplaying Notes:

It is of interest to note that Julia is very spoiled because of her upbringing and she used to having everything her way. She is prone to whining, temper tantrums, and short bouts of depression. She's also selfish. Julia won't do anything for anyone unless she's getting something in return.

Rare mark

Hall of Honour

for Julia Zwhagger

The Hall of Honour is your mark on a submission you believe is frick’n awesome — so good you would jump in front of a dragon’s breath to protect the scroll it is written on.

Bestowing HoH also highlights it on the front of the Citadel for about a day, so others see the recognition it earned.

You may bestow HoH on the same submission up to your level (with a short wait between strikes). Five distinct HoH voters raise a work to Golden.

How do you pronounce the last name?

    'Shwa-guhr'? 'Zuh-wagguhr?'

Mmmmmmm, Perfect in that shes weak, annoying, arrogant and childish - Just like a great character should be! :D

Loved ones accidentally murdered by thieves is slightly cliche in my books, but all in all, not too bad.

She really doesn't have much to recommend here. The starting point for something great perhaps?
