A product of chaos storms and waaaaaaaaaaaay to much caffine, Beet has boundless energy and the single mindedness of a stick.
Special Equipment:
Beet Gun - A magical wand that looks like a stick. Can send out a bolt of force about the size of a small shield once a day.
Beet sword - A magically hardened blade made from Beet's own hair/grass. Not particulally durable, but renewable.
Beet bomb - Ok, not really an item, as occasional flatulence.
Appearance:
6 foot, 3 inches tall (4 foot 4 without the hair) A deep purple round body with banded horizontal ridges. No apparent features, but does posses spindly arms and legs.
Background:
After being the unfortunate bystander to recieve several spells being targeted at other people, Beet, formerlly an oversized root vegetable, was doused in the combined bloods of a mutually destructive chaos mage and void dragon. His conciousness sprung into being shortly after.
With no identity and two improbable corpses for parents, Beet left to see what the world can hold for him.
Often misunderstood and feared, Beet no the less has seen pain in others similar to the pain he experinced as a tuber. He wanders the lands to find those that cause pain and see it dealt to them so that they might have a point of reference for comparision.
Roleplaying Notes:
'A beet walks into a bar with a duck under his arm...'
He's serious about what he does, which only makes things sillier. Toss in to remind the players that they can never know what to expect around the corner.

*broad smile* sweet ;) though, you could add more about his personality... he could be a meatitarian, not wanting to hurt his fellow veggies ;)
Why a beet? O.o
I'd wager its because of a character that appeared yesterday and has disappeared today. It had about 10 words in it and 'He can beet anyone' was among those words. ;)
Question - does he beat up people for eating root vegetables?
Very silly
5/5 - just cos I can't stop laughing
I have found some of the posts that I enjoyed making the best are from other peoples posts that pissed me off. My muse is angst, aparently.
As for personality: Watch Hitchhickers guide to the galaxy, then get 4 hours of sleep or drink 4 beers, which ever doesn't make you surly. That's him.
I personally get rather loopy when I get less sleep. As shown above.
3/5
Wonky!
:)
Just what every game world needs.
Warlike tubers for Justice!
Of course, once the secret of his birth is discovered, the forces of evil will soon be developing tuber warriors of their own! Legions of lethal vegetables!
Now eat your veggies, Junior! Otherwise they may return to slay us all!
I had nearly forgotten this charcter. Well make it mind blocked.
It is amazing what we can come up with.
The introduction to the novel 'Jitterbug' perfume comes to mind. This is the kind of thing that role-playing as a story telling media was meant to embrace. A bunch of people sitting around a table don't need to get overly attached to or overly serious about the events and ideas (though only telling the story once can make the content a little guarded).
