#807This post I mean. Whoops.
Don't ask how I stumbled upon this but it made me laugh.
8) Hey y'all, this here is Mortimer J. Drachencense, most my buddies call me Drake. Let me tell you what we've got down here at Drachencense's Used Dragons.
A new dragon is real nice, mighty fine. But who can afford one? Tell me, how much did you pay for that first dragon, the old one with the clipped wing, and the missing teeth? Not a whole lot, but you got alot of good miles out of that old brown dragon before some heroes got in and did him in. Why go out and pay good money for a high price new dragon, when a factory refurbished dragon might be just the thing you need.
:dracoliche: Lemme guess, this is what you are expecting to come down here and find. Scales all falling off and rusted, not enough huff and puff left to light a cigarette let alone terrorize a town. You can even see this poor old beasts ribs. We dont sell barrel scrapin' dragons, we sell only the best reconditioned, refurbished dragons and dracomorphs. Unfortunately we dont deal with any Asian imports, we stick with the stock European models.
How about this big boy here - :bigdragon: - just the thing for the combat heavy fellow. He's got monsterous low end torque, and gets plenty of miles per princess eaten. Breath weapon still in great condition, original finish. He's a steal at 200,000 GP.
That's alright, looking for something a little smaller - :bdragon: - This fellow here is a Czech import. Some of you are shaking your heads over those old Yugo cars, but let me tell you something, they know how to put together a Dragon. This bad boy is sleek and fast, and has great handling. He bank like a hawk, great for munchkins on pegasi.
For some of you on a tighter budget, :babyd: I've got a few of these little guys. All the features of a name brand dragon, but in a half size body. Easier on the pocketbook, and eats only a minimal number of princesses. Unlike some dragons, this compact can run on un-virgin princess.

#814He spoke with the wisdom that can only come from experience, like a guy who went blind because he looked at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it and now goes around the country speaking at high schools about the dangers of looking at a solar eclipse without one of those boxes with a pinhole in it. -

Re: Re: The Call of Captain-thulhu part 3
#822A dream:
I looked out the window, my wife pointed. There was a german sheperd wandering around in the driveway. That's odd, no one in the neighborhood owns a german sheperd, but look, it snowed. There is about three inches of snow in the driveway. The road is slick and wet, but no snow on it. I think something is missing, someone stole Becki (01 Kia Rio) and Oliver (10 Kia Soul). Shock and disbelief. Who would steal a ten year old Rio? Who would steal a new Rio? My wife in unphased. I think we should call the cops, I say. It can wait till morning, she says.
I go outside, crunching in the snow. Both cars really are gone, but wait, there is a green SUV in the road, pulling away, Oliver! I run to the driver's door, open it and pull the driver out. He is a latino, and his friends shout a lot, but I realize that they are drive a Saturn Vue, and not a Soul. Oops. I run inside and call the police. The phone starts ringing, and as that happens there is a rumble and the house starts shaking. Earthquake?
I wake up.

#823Some people think the Necronomicon is a real book...
Others KNOW it is...
And those are the ones you have to watch out for.

#825I have two, they don't work that well or my were damaged in shipping. All I am able to summon are these annoying faeries that sing in a high pitched screech. Your common insect repellent will take care of them though...easy clean-up. -
Re: Re: The Call of Captain-thulhu part 3
#826Limping in sin, the world-eater lifts his chin. How how many amongst you can say to have dined on the flesh of Gaia in such repulsive fashion? Aquatic dribble and bits of green earth mar his stubble chin. He glares into space, wishing he could see the sly grin upon his own face. No mirror can imagine an existence so large as to capture this monstrous purveyor of antiquity. For he who has seen the cosmos and spat them from his mouth in utter disgust, is he. A bitter mockery of a shining sun, now replaces a grandiose blaze; a spit upon to roast the fat planet. His merry chortles reach the ears of Man; and they disturb his humor for a call to arms. The Beasts That Crawl echo blood in the night. A jealous Moon, glances down, devoid of life, but not of hope, The Watcher's watch passes all.
When dawn breaks, all will shatter. -

Re: Re: The Call of Captain-thulhu part 3
#830Born to an art quite lucid, the fetid scalawag. Maroon and petite, like no other under His gaze. It lurches and staggers in the forsaken starlight. A bitter munchkin of no design. The siren's song of chirps and guttural emissions shocks the gray swamps into a uniform frenzy. To say a beast less mad would understand is, in itself, the truth. From behind a veil of opulent derisiveness awakens a slumbering kill. With a shriek or precision, the utmost form of evil dashes forth. Into a dark expanse of a monster's mind, it crawls. Feeding. Breathing. When, before it happens, from silence escapes a thought: Not if, but when? -
