   I've been meaning to make a headway on my 2nd solo contribution to issue 2 for 2 weeks now but I've been too mired in the promotion of issue 1 in terms of social media and other stuff. I have a meetup with my WWW critique group and hopefully the opportunity to brainstorm with 2 other fellow women writers will get me out of the fix I have with this story.

   No luck with meetups and after actually barging into actual writing this week, I feel that I haven't really got into the mindset of the characters enough to write the story and the resolution I had made up for the story in the planning story is pretty daft too so I think I'm ready to discard this story on my abandoned pile and go into one of my other stories. Long Easter weekend coming up soon for me, hopefully I will be able to make some breakthrough during this period.

   Don't think I'm progressing that nicely this week. Effectively I only put in 2 days' writing when it should have been a week's. I will give it a go until the next week but somehow I'm feeling stuck already in scene 1....

    Switched back to Thread 2 revision since start of the week but didn't go well. Wrote less than 300 words in 2 days and then fell sick since Thurs. Hasn't done anything since due to headache.

    I think I've finally become unstuck on Thread 2, wrote 140ish words today finally, not much but a start.

    While I thought 2 stories in 2 months is technically achievable even for me, reality tells me that that is not guaranteed to be the case so given this, I've now decided to trim back the number of stories I plan to contribute to each issue (incl. issue 2) to at least 1 story rather than a guaranteed 2. A decision that might be disappointing for myself and my fellow contributors but otherwise it becomes too much stressful commitment for me.

    Probably won't get much time on Thread 2 revision this week since works on particular train station along my line means that I'm taking bus to work for whole week and I can't write or read on buses. Also, going out on Sat so that effectively only leaves Sun. But basic revision plan down pat and only need to start re-writing. Will probably take it in stages this time versus one big sweep in order of priority and then running out of steam on lower priority but still important issues with the piece.

    Did less than planned due to falling sick on the weekend but first mini-round of revision pretty well planned out. Will try to wrap up this first round by end of this week. Next round will be about the fighting scenes.

    First round not done yet, one minor section to fix up, one big section that is still in nebulous in my mind and one loose thread that I will leave till the end to come back to.

    Still stuck on the big section of first round by the end of last week but it's loosening up. Hopefully, will be able to get to second round planning by end of this week.
