Zelas asked Auxzali about it? Sorry, must have missed it. Auxzali shall quickly respond!

And Echo- wouldn't a panther-fur cape just look cool for you?

Just for the sake of moving on, I'm gonna try my thing, if it doesn't work, we'll kill those panthers, sleep and then exit.

    Nim reads the note..

Sorry for disappearing like that, we had a guy quit and I've been on 15 hour shifts and too tired to do anything but stare hatefully at the wall...

    Crocodile Combat Round Order:

    Duxo
    Nim
    Auxzali
    Zelas
    Sigurd
    Tamyra
    Two-Headed Crocodile

So now for round two! Once Echo resolves whether or not he's tripped. Duxo/Pariah after that point for Round Two.

Correction: it has come to my attention that CMDs are not rolled. Sigurd gets no rolls to save himself the dishonor of swallowing water in the middle of battle. The post in question was edited in the game itself.

    Therefore, let round two begin!

Btw., could I get a cure light wounds? I'd like to be able to endure more than 1 hit in case things turn sour.

Okay guys, welcome to the climax of my particular plotline. You have a choice: run like hell, or stick around and fight the Royal Guard. If you fight the Guard, RIP, :budo: :hang:, noble martyr. A platoon is a little bit bigger of a challenge than a first level PC can handle.

If you guys decide that running is the best option, than here is how things will go down. I'll post what you guys see, which will involve an obstacle or two and have some sort of check to see if you guys can get past it, typically involving a choice your PC can make. For example, let's say there's a ruined bridge over a river. You can choose to run across the thin, sturdy board, which would be an acrobatics skill check, or run across the less sturdy, rotted section, which will collapse under your weight and require a reflex save to jump to the other side in time. I'll post how close the Royal Guard is to you, and how far apart you guys have come. Basically, I'm running it like this: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/gamemastering/other-rules/chases.

So. I post, then each of you post to overcome the obstacle. I'll PM if you notice a shortcut or the handy vine that will let you swing across the Chasm of Death. We'll start the interesting bits when you all state the fact that you're running in game or here, in case you guys decide that suicide to make sure the others get to safety is a good idea, or if there is some spell/action to slow them down you want to do.

If any of you guys don't enjoy this, feel free to PM me, and I'll shorten the chase. Now let's go see if you can survive the Royal Guard!

Is the bridge stone or wooden?
  10. Re: [Asydia] OOC: Humble Beginnings

    #170
Very flammable wood. Well, it is slightly wet from the stream, but Zelas can still burn it to ashes.

Nim has fire covered too :)

(Hey, I could really use a Detect Evil scan on Tamyra, and a Sense Motive (my skill is +7).
    Thanks!  :battleaxe:

And that is it for Asydia: Humble Beginnings! Congratulations, you have survived!
If you have any questions for Tamyra before we move on, feel free to ask them in the RP.

Anyway, we will continue into the next chapter, to be called Blood and Blizzards, in the northern lands of Esgoloth. As you have completed Chapter One, you all get to level up. We will proceed once you PM me your updated character sheets. But on to more appropiate things: LOOT!

You did escape with some wealth. For your convenience, I will include the complete list of loot you have liberated. Most of the loot, unless you make a specific mention that you want to keep it, will be assumed to be sold in the next city you guys reach on the way to Esgoloth. This sold loot does not include magical (such as the potions) or useful items (such as the masterwork scimitar). Also to be assumed is that in that city you also hit up the shops and bought anything you so chose, which should be included in your update character sheets.

Divide up the magical and useful items- I believe that some of it was divided up, but another division would be helpful to ironfound who gets what.

The Loot (including only things with monetary value, could be carried out, or have use):

Total Worth: 3372 gold. Split five ways, each person gets 674 gold, with 2 odd gold pieces.

    Bandit Pond Room:
-One pound of Wildeweed Tobacco Wrapped in Wax paper. (150gp value) (Grown on the outskirts of the Karikun desert near the Sen-Rab border where vegetation starts to thrive, the Wildeweed strain of tobacco leaf is is potent and popular, and shipped across most of Asydia.)
-One pound of dried apples (20gp value)
-1/2 pound of dried meat (20gp value)
-Two spools of thin, decorative fabric, (40gp value each)
    -Three shortwords, battered.
    -One spear.
    -One short dagger, silver.
    -One crossbow, 10 bolts.
    -Two leather suits of armour.
    -22gp between them all.
-Two solid copper sen-rabbin  necklets. (10gp each)
-Three silver hoop earrings (15gp each)
    -One large, well-crafted Scimitar, Masterwork.
-One ornamental, Royal Guard headpiece (40gp)
-One small, round shield, gold plated (125gp)
    -A set of Gator-Hide sandals.

Magical Goods from Bandit Pond Room:

    -A set of gator-hide armour.---acts like studded leather, +2
-A set of Gator-Hide forearm bracers.---bracers of natural armor, +1 to AC
-A golden, solid Sen-Rabbin necklet.---ring of spell knowledge, type 1

Note, he chucked the chest - we had already dispersed the coins.
  15. Re: [Asydia] OOC: Humble Beginnings

    #176
Indeed. See my post - the chest that once had contained.
I did not even have all the platinum on me.
  16. Re: [Asydia] OOC: Humble Beginnings

    #177
I assumed because of the shout about how Sen-Rab was bad that he chucked the money as well. Shall promptly edit the list.

I have received 1 out of 5 level 2 character sheets. If you guys don't want to continue, or can no longer continue, then we can put Asydia to rest. However, I personally would like to explore a plot-line of my very own, and I know that that one person who submitted the character sheet probably feels the same, so I would like for you to make your intentions clear. Are we done, or do you simply want to take a break, or completely forgot about it and will henceforth submit your character sheet?

Updating character to level 2 as we speak! :D
