Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#42Thanks -
Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#43Up to 5 votes and inputs on 30 symbols for various societies or shop signs!!
In exchange, 1 vote on 1 sub up to one A4 paged in length OR return user-submitted ideas on designated scroll or sub in ratio of 1 idea per 1-5 symbols (open to negotiation on the ratio)
btw, SE, are you still needing 2 votes on your Field of Flesh? ppl still see it 1st thing when they come to this thread but I haven't seen a take-up in response to your offer in ages. To be honest, at first I was tempted to do an exchange with you but seeing the length and possible content, I changed my mind. -
Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#44I propose a trade! For up to 3 2 lucky customers, the following offer is up for grabs! In exchange for reading, commenting, and voting on both (not just one, but each) Lunism and The Prophet John, I will vote on a total of three of each of your subs. A 2-for-3 deal! How could you pass once-in-a-lifetime opportunity slip through your fingers?
On a side note, as The Prophet John was recently edited, those of you who have all ready voted on the good Prophet may do so again.
So what are you all waiting for? Come to the RVE and get three of your subs voted on! -
Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#45Very well, Caesar193, I shall take you up on the call! I shall thoroughly read and vote on Lunism, and re-read and re-judge John the Prophet!
In return, I ask you to grab your water skin, hire a camel and take a journey through the desert. I have big plans for the Ouzquin Dremorix, and some fresh eyes on some of their old subs will please me!
Observe, the children of the desert: The Children of Glass!
Show reverence to their lord: Axtrami!
and 'ware the Obsidian Wolf: Vauraki!
I spared you the horror of reading through Axtrami Haiq Ouzala - I felt it would be unfair to force such a large sub on you :p
Your subs shall be read and commented on in the next couple days! -
Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#46There you go, SE, all three have been voted upon. BTW, your links didn't link right, so I had to find them the hard(er) way, through using the search function. Anyways, now you're locked into this trade with me for good
Have a fun time voting.
On a petty side note, two more applicants are welcome for the 2-for-3 trade! Look above for details. -
Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#47^
I recommend this deal. A+++ would buy again from this dealer. -
Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#48I am looking to trade votes for feedback on Zombie Servants of the Ch'thra. It's a departure from the way I usually write and I would really like to know what works (if anything) and what does not.
I'm willing to trade 2 votes on subs of any length or complexity for this one, but the feedback must be detailed. -

How can I resist a two for one deal. Especially since you haven't been voting on my subs lately, so I'll have to take you up on that.
Your two votes will be on the dwarven poem: http://strolen.com/viewing/What_Is_A_Dwarf and...you already promised to vote on the calendar, so... this one: http://strolen.com/viewing/An_Ode_to_the_Colour_Red. -
Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#50Thank you, that was helpful feedback. My votes are in and our bargain is complete. Excellent doing business with you!
My offer of 2 votes for 1 detailed response to Zombie Servants of the Ch'thra remains open throughout the weekend. There may be a slight delay in payment if I run low on votes, but I promise to make good as soon as they refresh. -
Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#52I'll take you up on that this evening. And in exchange you shall visit this here submission: http://strolen.com/viewing/Trash_Golem#90249 -

#62I am soliciting votes on the following submission:
http://strolen.com/viewing/7743
It is a character dossier based off of the Mortal Kombat 1 game and I have two major questions, what do you think of it, the presentation, how it's meshed into the Cosmic Era, and is there any interest in seeing more of this sort of thing? I ask because writing the dossiers seems to be a good way to vent 'noise' out of my creative center. After writing this I'm no longer trying to roll Johnny Cage into a CE celebrity martial artist.
I will reciprocate with a vote and comment on a submission of your choice. -
Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#63Voted. I'll either pick an existing sub for you to vote on, or save it for another I'll write.

#68I will give your star whale a good commenting today, who knows I might even call one my buddies to comment in her back door while I comment in her business end.
While I would like you particularly to comment on my Comsic Era post or "day in the life of priest" thing, I think in honor your drunken attempt to find human connection over the internet and through prose I will toss out my last contribution to the drunken writer's guild
strolen saved it from my drunken rage.

Do you want votes on that stuff as part or just once the book is done? -

Axle, whether you want to vote on each Chap or not I don't really care. It's really the comment that I want, esp. in response to aspects that I outline as separate ideas under each Chap but in general as well.
Any sub of yours you want me to read in return? If you don't have so short a sub, don't worry. I've decided to change the terms so that it's 2000 words per Chap incl. Prologue else it's getting too complicated. -
Re: The Royal Voting Exchange of Strolen's Citadel!!
#79Moonlake, I will give your stuff a vote, but I think you should combine some of these chapters into a single unit.

btw, I just had the idea yesterday that I will put up a Codex that all the Chapters link to but was too busy yesterday to get to making it. I will put it up today.
Thanks for your comments on the Prologue. They were really helpful.
