Re: Freetext Friday
#361Holey-moley did I fall behind. And it's a shame too, because I really like the auto-detek.
But must keep moving forward. So, with Halloween coming up, let's do cosmic horror. Whether you prefer your Lovecraft in the 20th century, the distant past, or the far future, there's plenty of room for some eldritch abominations and sinister cultists. -
Re: Freetext Friday
#362Here you go DLM, a whole collection of cosmic horror stories from Citadel Authors...if you haven't read it already

Re: Freetext Friday
#363I'm a bit of a relic in that I prefer to read my books in paper, so I might not be able to check that one out.
But for now, this week, the freetext shall be baby. Monster babies! Changelings! The last human! What strange journeys can babies go on and/or inspire? -
Re: Freetext Friday
#364I note that while we have a superhero freetext, we don't have a supervillain freetext. So that's what we're going to do this week. -
Re: Freetext Friday
#365You are a MACHINE Dragonlordmax!!!! -
Re: Freetext Friday
#366Oh my heaven I have missed a lot of Fridays.
Well, Scrasamax made two super villain posts that I still need to comment on. But, to get this started again (yes, I know that today is Saturday), let's do witch. Ye Olde Witches, modern Urban Fantasy witches, future cyber-witches, or whatever else you can think of. But I want 'em. -
Re: Freetext Friday
#367With an excellent witch submission from Scrasamax, let's keep going.
The Helmet is an under-appreciated piece of armor. How often do you play an RPG and pick up a suit of mail and ignore the helmet? Well, no more! I want the best you've got in head protection! -
Re: Freetext Friday
#368Next up is slasher, in the sense of the horror movie monster type. Give me your psychopathic killers, roaming through the dark to murder poor, innocent victims. -
Re: Freetext Friday
#369Gold is the next freetext. I think there's a lot of space in this one - cities of gold, treasures of gold, maybe some chemistry or science, places to find gold.... The list goes on. -
Re: Freetext Friday
#370Bear. The new freetext is bear. People turning into bears, talking bears, regular animal bears, bear ghosts, magic bears.... -
Re: Freetext Friday
#371Holy smokes, I don't know what happened.
Anyway, Dinosaur is the new freetext. -
Re: Freetext Friday
#372Cave is the new freetext. It could be a magic cave, a secret pirate cave, the long-lost burial chamber of a robot civilization, or a bunch of other things.
