Re: OOC
#241Those are all pretty sweet. I'd love 2 :P but the powergamer in me selects Heavy Metal.

Re: OOC
#242Stupid forum ate my whole post. Will post later. :dizzy: -
Re: OOC
#243Heh, I google docs my longer forum posts too.. Yes, I have longer ones on occasion...

Re: OOC
#244I understand that Carly doesn't wish to exercise narrative freedom to describe the Spartacus lead?
I take this as a cue to create all NPCs, if you wish to create an NPC yourself, let me know.
Will post soonish. -
Re: OOC
#245How unusual is the Liacore in this system? Did our arrival stand out? -
Re: OOC
#246It's a cargo hauler. Thus, not too unusual, but it's a fringe system. Every ship gets noticed.
Given that an establishment like the Rascal Reaver can flourish, the station needs to see *some* traffic in which you can hide. You know, the fair share of cargo rust buckets, smugglers, mercenaries, well-behaved pirates, colonists, refugees, and the occasional out-of-place Core vessel. -
Re: OOC
#247My turn again? -
Re: OOC
#248
My turn again?
Yep, waiting for the info from my informant and then we discuss strategy and what to do next. -
Re: OOC
#249Going on 4 days vacation, we shall see if I have time to post, will try. -
Re: OOC
#250Do you need more from me to proceed? -
Re: OOC
#251I've been waiting for Val or more of the crew to reply before posting again, but more input from the rest of the gang would be helpful regardless. -
Re: OOC
#252Excuse me, I am really OCC here. But the Citadel has been begging for increased Sil presence all week. Glad you are giving to them. -

Lol, really? This is the first I've heard of it. :what: -

Captain Obvious to the rescue? -
Re: OOC
#255I think it's Val or the Gm's turn now? Or is everyone waiting on me to post again? -
Re: OOC
#256Sorry for taking so long to respond, I didn't notice the game had been posted in until Jenny pointed it out to me. (Got buried under GOTC action I think?)
I have set a scheduled reminder now to check all the rp's I'm in before and/or after work so I'll be posting once a day now without fail when it's my turn. -
Re: OOC
#257So.... Is this on temporary hold for some reason? In hibernation until spring? Or? -
Re: OOC
#258Well, I was suffering from a combination of work, being sick, and Dragon Age 3.
My apologies. No hold per se.
On an unrelated note, the Rusties, i.e. Rust Scorpions, have nabbed doctor Kraljevic. Hence, I guess they will have seized his shuttle too. -
Re: OOC
#259Ready to get to this as soon as the GM is! -
Re: OOC
#260On stand by as well, or is this unofficially in retirement? -
Re: OOC
#261I will post soon-ish now that I have more time and stuff.
One thing I'd like you to consider regarding the last posts is that you're unlikely to get Dr. Kralevic's shuttle, because the Rust Scorpions nabbed him. So, we can describe an awesome landing scene where you find desert and stripped ruins. Woo.

Re: OOC
#262So. Life happened, and had to adult. Will post something meaningful t'wards the end of March. Sorry for the delay. -
Re: OOC
#263It's been a long time, but with Kassy and val still around, the question is, is there still interest? At least in one chapter? -
Re: OOC
#264Sure :) -
Re: OOC
#265I hadn't noticed you'd posted here Echo. I'd definitely be down to continue this! :)
I'll re-read it too to remember what has happened. -
Re: OOC
#266Does either of you have a way to resurrect Silveressa? -
Re: OOC
#267I do not, unfortunately. :(
If memory serves me correctly, she swore to never come back to the site. -
Re: OOC
#268A shame, really. How about Scras? We could rope him into this :D It would be sci fi, it would have greedy megacorps, and you would not have to GM. -
Re: OOC
#269He did say he would be down for anything, soooo, possibly?
I don't mind GM'ing, but for HP I think it should be left in the hands of the more capable so as not to dilute what it is :P

Re: OOC
#270I would run a game, but i would probably just start something of my own rather than continue someone else's game -
Re: OOC
#271Like the first thought that comes to mind is to have everyone introduce their character by describing the last time they experienced hard vacuum. This could either be like an interview process to be approved for a specific mission, or maybe even a support group for spacers. Was is a minor issue, where the hull had a rupture and the air escaped but you were largely shielded, was there a major rupture and the character tumbled through space for 30 seconds while fighting to get their helmet on, space suit failure. Did you know that space smells like burning meat and sounds like screaming from hell? (yeah its probably smelling the olfactory nerves themselves cooking, and god knows what hard vacuum does to the eardrum)
And I would roll from there, with experienced, seasoned characters

Re: OOC
#272As for continuing, if it's Hollen's I'm GMing it :D
If it's something new, I would not mind playing. -
Re: OOC
#273I'd definitely be down for Scras running something, particularly if it's set within his own creation.
Also be more than happy to jump back into HP. -
Re: OOC
#274All of the above.
