Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#521it wasnt a lame post! moving is good! In fact I've been meaning to tell you, Moon.. nice playingall along!
Pariah, I am saddened to say (yes, for some reason few things go your way) but its hard to focus a spell on someone who isnt there, though.....KOSCHEI! he can see...perhaps. Will get back to you when I'm sober.
After confusion spell, Dujek and Voro can act, and have. Talia can also act due to the magical charm she posesses, allowing her to "shake off" the confusion the following round.
Alzamus is up next again. (before Talia)
Bejeezuzz, what a finale. Lots happening! (I'm drunk)

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#522Dujek was just hit with a magic missile, or so I believe. If he has some kind of wards or other protection, let me know! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#523You do realize that spellcasting attack spells blows invisability spells out the window :)
-
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#524Not this one! I am afraid Alzamus stays hidden!
Ria: Awesome post!  -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#525Improved ! Great.... :)
-
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#526Oh man
I've been gone for so many turns... I don't even know if I can get back into this game -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#527Don't give up! :D -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#528Juju is desperately needed! We're in deep trouble!
-
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#529*laughs* What you need is a random Triguian cleric to be warp-gated in to go Old Testament on Alzamus. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#530sorry, minor hiatus. Will pick it up this week, starting late tonight. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#531Monday...bad...I am exhausted. Will dive in AuR full force tomorrow!
promise! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#532Hey, Muro!
Take your time ;)
CaptainPenguin:
It ain't that bad. Basically your osprey is in the air, watching a battle below and, in particular, a small quasit flying high above that battle, but below Jjuldae.
If you quit now they all DIE SCREAMING IN FLAMES! *cackles evilly* -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#533Right.
Like your henchmen...

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#534note: I will be largely away from a computer from the 5th to about the 12th of Feb, and I envision that I will also be partly away from the computer from the 12th to the 19th.
Thus, my forum posting will be quite limited, and I give permission during these times, if I haven't posted for a while, for the GM to take temporary control of my character. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#535sorry, I'm having one of those weeks. Instead of chillin' on Strolens or even watching tv, I have to spend the next 3 hours before bed, composing a presentation for work.
gah! sorry. Good news is, we should still be done with Chap II by the end of the coming weekend or so.
bad timing, I know, mid round, but I just cant devote even a half hour at the moment.
Peace! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#536Hang in there, noble GM! We shall be waiting. :knight: -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#537Sorry on the lack of presence the last few days - my internet decided to go on holidays. But it's back now, and i'm also semi-back. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#538Heh, Behold!
[Siren no Orakio] 7:06 pm: I might play a priest of the Storm Queen then. Hm.
[Ria Hawk] 7:06 pm: kk
[Ria Hawk] 7:07 pm: just as a warning, clerics don't tend to fare well
7:07 pm: Be warned: We go through clerics like some people go through underwear!
[Siren no Orakio] 7:07 pm: Priest does not always mean cleric. ;-p
7:09 pm: OK. Still...
7:09 pm: Aeth... Gutted and left in a ditch
[Ria Hawk] 7:09 pm: Glordren, swallowed up by the ground
7:10 pm: Tristan... Lightning Bolted...
7:10 pm: (but not quite dead)
[Ria Hawk] 7:10 pm: though he's not dead, just split off from the group
7:10 pm: he got better...
[Siren no Orakio] 7:11 pm: Was he lightening bolted by his own god?
[Ria Hawk] 7:11 pm: no, by his own party mates
7:11 pm: No, our mage got reckless with a wand...
7:12 pm: You see our point...
[Siren no Orakio] 7:12 pm: Oh, that's no fun then.
7:12 pm: It's kind of like being the Defense Against the Dark Arts guy at Hogwarts.
[Ria Hawk] 7:13 pm: with worse pay
7:13 pm: You could break the trend!
7:13 pm: Face off against the curse!
7:14 pm: Somehow survive, bucking ALL the odds!
7:14 pm: Heroism beyond compare!
7:14 pm: ...just by traveling with us.
7:15 pm: You could be "The Priest That Lived!"
7:15 pm: What you've got to ask yourself is....
7:15 pm: Do you feel lucky?
[Siren no Orakio] 7:15 pm: I wonder
7:15 pm: Well, do ya?
[Siren no Orakio] 7:15 pm: Punk!
7:16 pm: (We don't use that sort of language here!)
7:16 pm: (With a sales pitch like that, he's GOT to have a priest!)
[Siren no Orakio] 7:17 pm: Hahah. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#539I would like to try to cover everyone in one shot, so we'll give SE and Moon another fortnight, no wait, not fortnight, that would be too long. Till tomorrow then! :P
If they dont post their round's actions, we'll proceed. For the time being:
--Jjuldae is back! Though Cap isnt :P
--Donovan is about to go nuts on Fyrfyrion (you've been warned)
--Aethelstan has cast Darkness upon the Dark One.
--Talia made the fine point that all the candle smoke may help in spying the wiz's form. Multi-tasker that she is, Talia is also attemtpting to pin Aerex to keep him from firing at her.
--Dujek is going wild-west style on everybody's ass with the table flipping
--Kadarin, poor Kadarin, is confused...and mweowing.
--Aerex. See Kadarin entry, minus the meowing. Instead he's trying to kill that which he loves.
--Henge and Moruz are in limbo, hovering, about to state their actions, upon winning initiative.
--Vee is stalking, ninja-style, two-handed dagger yo.
--Vorodon just wants everyone to get along...err, um, except his stone giant buddy.
--Alzamus is trying to kill you all or survive trying. :P no, really, Alzamus is simply misunderstood by you blood-thirsty PCs , like all great Shakesperean villains are!
--Did I miss anyone? hope not.
--Strolen, Echo, and Siren will be joining Chap III, in various roles. Woot! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#540Q: Speaking of fortnights... Will you be more active in the game? (
Not that it matters for Alzamus, since it seems that all he loves dies this night... :p Oh, MAZOMA! Why did you have to die? *sniff* :p)
Q: Does Alzamus feel the death of his familiar? The severing of the bond and all that mumbo jumbo?
Q: Should I post, or is the damage dealt by the torrent of secretly pm'ed messages so severe that Alzamus is already dead? (Already sent this to you per pm, but no reply...) -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#541A: Yes, last week was bad for me, but I'm fine this week, just stalling to give SE and Moon a go.
A: Yes (as soon as I read the post to see what Don did now. :P)
A: please DO post! Sorry about no reply. I try to get to every PM, but may have missed that. I think your RP'ing is to be commended btw! Great villain! Great DETAIL!! Unfortunately, his potential may not be reached in this Guts and Glory style (emphasis on Guts) RP. I, for one, would have loved to see the interactions between Alzamus and the gang, if they had all just sat down for dinner like civilized folk. But the PCs must taste blood...or they cant sleep, you see. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#542
Q: Does Alzamus feel the death of his familiar? The severing of the bond and all that mumbo jumbo?
Generally speaking, yes.
"If the familiar dies, the wizard must make a successful system shock check or die. Even if he survives this check, the wizard loses one point from his constitution when the familiar dies"
Well, as it's my doing I figure I'd be the one to break the news...now it's up to Muro and the dice! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#543
(OOC: Donovan’s actions have covered many, many rounds of combat. This post will therefore not reflect the trauma inflicted by his vile murder of Fyrfyrion. As round 1 began he left the feast chamber for the tower bed chamber, spoke with Keykold up there, witnessed Jjuldae crash into the room, murdered Lazanne, and THEN he murdered Fyrfyrion… How many rounds into the future is that? Since Alzamus has not reached 54th level yet, I doubt it will inflict the duration of his spell
The new spell I have described here is one made by Alzamus himself and is his most potent one. Its schools are both invocation and conjuration and it is a fifth level wizard spell. The exact nature of the spell is secret.)

Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#544I thought that Alzamus would have somespecial planned for his goodbye!
One detail though: The Darkness is cast on Alzamus himself. It goes where he goes. Unless he has the ability to see in darkness, that may ffect his actions. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#545My reply:
Nope. Not this one. It won't follow him. Sorry. Ask Muro (I will remind him of what makes this so in a private message... Say he needs to check his inbox). ;)
-
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#546Drat, Curses! I'll get you, my pretty! And your little demon, too! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#547okay, I was going to screw around at work today and post the combat results. But between 9am today and 1:30pm I received 6 more PM's :P, and will have to really read them, to fully grasp and translate the info before posting.
Alzamus will not go quietly into yonder night, and I guess I dont blame him. For his next trick....utter chaos.
I will post tonight no matter what. I will take control of Moruz if need be too. I may be liberal/creative in some technical translations of space, time, causes, and effects...bare with me.
I will take into account as many details as possible, while attempting to make the round go smoothly, despite all the chaos. Will do my best...stay tuned. -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#548Speaking of Chaos, you did get my PM a week or two back, right? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#549phew, okay, everyone can post again now :P (everyone alive, that is)
(CM, ummmm, which PM?....sorry) -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#550HOW... AM... I... NOT... DEAD?!?!?!
*insane little giggles*
Dead? They're all dead? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#551We need initiative for the new round, Muro! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#552*rolling* PCs 2, Alzamus 2. Simultaneous...except anyone with 16 or better Dex, wins. (17 trumps 16 obviously, and so forth :P) -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#553*scaryspasticgrin* -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#554Hey, Moon? I thought the giant just got wasted? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#555Official List of Movies that Muro is NO LONGER ALLOWED to watch, especially before composing posts:
Serenity
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
The Wild Bunch
The Killer
The Thing (John Carpenter version)
Ria, more suggestions? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#556What about Mouse and the hysterical monk? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#557Well.... Being impaled by hell-icicles is better then viceraphagy... :)
-
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#558I withdrew the shadow command contingency spell description as per Muro's request. Apparently he has some surprise in store for the fleeing Alzamus.
Anyhow, however this works out, it is fun playing with you gentlemen!
Those of you who survive until chapter III: Drats! I missed my opportunity! -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#559
Well.... Being impaled by hell-icicles is better then viceraphagy... :)
Oh, really? This theory is based on... ? -
Re: OOC: Back in the Day...
#560hahahaha, his personal real life experiences, I guess.
and to answer an earlier question, Wulf, Mouse is passed out, mad monk...I forgot about. He dies damn it!! he..just..dies!
no, I'll think of something and throw him a blurb
