The Kite Shield of Caladin, passed down to son from father in the Whitewing Family...
It was made from a loyal smith in Calan during it's time as a city-state. It was just a regular, but beautiful, kite shield for the Whitewing family. The Knights went to war against the ogres, with Lord Whitewing. On the plains of Fein, they came upon an old women who was being attacked by an ogre, seeing to her saftey, Lord Whitewing killed the ogre, but was wounded, the women turned out to be a witch and she gifted his shield to protect him from harm, and from then on, he was never wounded. It has since been passed down rather symbolic then as an active weapon

Can you better describe the magical property?
sure
A bit short, don't you think? Though it gives all the information that you really need for it, although the 'a wizard/witch did it' -explanation is always a bit... ah, well, it really has all the things it _needs_, though short and lacking in details that would give it more depth. A basic description, so I'll give it a basic rating.
3/5
okay
Yep.
Short.
Needs work.
