Demon Blood Sword
A sword made of demon blood to fight demons.
Blood taken from a Balor demon then banished before becoming whole again, the sword is alive with the blood. Being wielded by a great foe (in my personal campaign I have a vampire lord) by upon defeating the foe whoever picks it up the Balor is then again summoned. With a 20% chance the players are able to bind the demon to the sword to be summoned once every 3 Days(legendary action).
Traits: Black hilt red blade, mutter can be heard only to the wielder(helpful or not depending on GM)
Stats: +3 Longsword, bane of demons, understanding of abysall language, 1/ 3Day summon Balor.

so what is Balor like? is summoning him all that bad?
watch out Azuzu...they are coming for you.
'watch out Azuzu...they are coming for you.'
I just got that and chortled.
I like the idea but it is more like a stub. It could become a great submission. Perhaps a failure roll makes the daemon attack the sword's owner and a critical failure sends the sword's owner to Hell?
Going to attempt to paraphrase from Moonhunter.
This is not a bad submission, but it isn't a good one either. An ideal to strive for is the Hollywood standard, as in presenting the item as if it were to be used in a movie, comic, or other entertainment venue. What does it look like? Who created it, and why did they do so? It is obviously a powerful weapon, and there are many powerful weapons (YAKAS - yet another kick ass sword), so what makes this one different?
The sword can be used to summon a Balor, and here most people know that that is a specific type of demon from Dungeons and Dragons, but that leaves a huge gap. Does it summon a random Balor, or is it a specific Balor bound to the weapon? Tell us about the demon attached to the sword? Is it a bull roaring monster, a cunning a devious charmer, a shrewd bargainer? (my personal suggestion would be to imagine who would provide the voice of the Balor and work backwards from there)
And Welcome to the Citadel.
PM me if you would like some help editing this, and I'd be glad to be of assistance.
