Corina Archerus is a researcher and a wizard. She is also completely blind.
Appearance
Human female, age 37. Fair skin, dirty blond hair, fairly average appearance except for her eyes. These are blank white orbs of scar tissue that she makes no attempt to hide.
History/Background
Corina was blinded when a dry log exploded in the hearth she was watching at her childhood home. She had already been accepted as an apprentice magicker, so she followed that path. Her natural gifts and dogged determination (she is an Archerous after all!) allowed her to complete her basic training. Her natural aptitude for sound has made her quite the accomplished mistress of sound magic.
She can also play a dozen or so instruments: Harp, Flute, Fiddle, Arune Sphere, and others.
Special Equipment
Staff.
A raven familiar called Sqwack, who serves her in much the same manner as a guide dog. He is usually perched on her shoulder.
Roleplaying Notes
All attempts to restore her sight have so far failed.
This has led her to an almost fanatical interest in sound and sound-based magics. She has written several theses on the nature of sound and has developed a number of quite unique spells that rely on sound for their effect.
Known Expert at sound illusions and all sound based magics.

Not Sure What To Do?
A few threads that are itching for additions or collaboration to get you started at Strolen's Citadel.
Is her name a play on the word Cornia?
As part of the city, I could see where she'd be useful as part of a noir type campaign, but their just isn't much here. The write up gives you idea of how she might be useful to a person, but almost nothing of the nuances or surprises that interactions with here might bring. A usable but flavorless character.
Corina is just an Known World name.

Hey Moon,
Again I felt sorry for ya so I looked up your lowest ranked sub, and here I find you again defending something based on how low you set your own bar. But I will give you a 5 anyway, because I think the sub is okay.

Blind mage that focuses on sound, you really didn't reach out the box for this one. Have you read that story about the dancing wizard?
5/5
No. No I haven't.
Nope it was an example character from way back when. It is an extra. She is a background mage to stuff in a bar or mage shot or someplace you need a minor mage. That is why she has so little detail. She is an extra.
