Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#81Well, the box is actually a clothes dryer, so you can close the door. Not so much throw it out the window... :)
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#82btw, 20 was not wasted, since the DC for that trap was also quite high :)
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#83Now we got two posts going separate ways. Since Kassy isn't in all that much, would you be willing to change your post caesar? Or? -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#84Post deleted. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#85Alright, appreciate it. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#86Ball's in your court folks. House has not collapsed yet and nothing has arrived. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#87How does the stimpack work? I feel like I should know this, like you told us this at some point, but I can neither remember or find it. Do they simply heal me, and restore my hit points, or do they speed up the process so I'll be injured when I go to sleep, but when I wake up I'm healed? -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#88Whatever I had posted previously seems to have vanished.
For now, the one you have is like this one:
http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/rekuna-dreams/items/stimpack
Though for HP healed, I'd change it to 1d4+4.

Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#89Do we drive the story forward or will you, val? -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#90At the moment, things are quiet, and no one has gone to bed yet, so the balls in your court. Once people start sleeping, then things may change. You cannot, for example, simply skip to the morning :) -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#91Well Carny's gone to bed at least. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#92So, crossbow now charcoal? -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#93Yeah :( I woulda had him grab for it, but Luc isn't one for sticking his hand in a fire. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#94You do realize you might not have one for a very long time. There are none for sale back at camp.
Some would kill for such things.
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#95Too late now :D -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#96Gomenasaaaaai! (I'm sorry) It felt right in the moment. :P But you have yourself to blame though, don't insult the girl who's holding your most beloved possesion in front of a fire. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#97Val, did you miss the survival checks or did I fail them? (Survival check to see what kind of tracks surround the carcass,+7 and how fresh it is, +6).
Otherwise I could roll em right here, 12 +7 to try and discern what made the tracks and 11 +6 to check for freshness. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#98It is very dark, but those rolls are good enough to tell that there only seems to be coyote tracks. As for freshness, the condition of the corpse itself tells you less than 24 hours.
(DC for darkness was not as bad as I first thought) -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#99Does Carny reach the camp without trouble or? -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#100Posted again. Not sure how regularly I'll be able to though. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#101Luc goin' to add anything to the discussion? -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#102Aah! Posting in a couple hours!
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#103Aaand?
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#104BTW - only the newly found second door is closed. First door is wide open with doors lying to either sides.
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#105I thought we had walked through the open door! I was waiting for some new info
! :p -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#106Nope, no one has entered yet since finding the door.
Who's going in, and in what order? Open doors are big enough for two abreast if wanted.
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#107Ah ha! In the interest of moving it along, u shall say that Luc has ventured in! Whilst sneaking and making relevant trap checks, naturally! -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#108Just how dark is it in there? I mean it's morning after all. I just discovered I don't have any torches. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#109Its a big building, and the doors and windows were largely boarded over. You can get around large objects, but there is no seeing the tracks any more, and if there are any traps rolls will have significant penalties.
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#110Ah ha! luc has torches! -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#111So these ones don't have their throats ripped open, like the one in the woods?
As a hunter, what kind of conclusions do I draw? Disease or have they bled to death from the gun-shot wounds? -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#112Nope, they do not have any large injuries - apparently the worst injured did not make it here.
Some of these appear untouched by gunfire.
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#113Those books, I don't suppose reading some of em could grant us permanent skill bonuses? I'm definately packing some books either way along with any food I can find and any useful tools a janitor might have.
Might there be a security room with ammo?
I rolled 16, Survival and Perception are both +6. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#114No bonus books - this was an elementary school.
Though now you ask, something was found. -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#115Luc will smash the soda machine for a half dozen cans of sida - figure theyre a rarity these days and might actually be worth a few pennies! He will also take a couple metal frypans for scrap metal. Still gotta find some batteries! -
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#116The Axe is not damaged in spite of the abuse. It is well built. It might need a good sharpening though, but no game effects.
ShadowEagle: Retroactive Disable Device roll. DC 15. Pass yields 3 small, still viable rechargeable batteries from the ruins of the pop-machine.
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#117Init roll of 7.
Only Luc and Marc have line of sight. The init round can be used for a move _or_ standard action, move required for Anya, Carnegie or Kreadle to gain line of site.
-
Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#118Charge is okay, with one caveat:
"If you are able to take only a standard action on your turn, you can still charge, but you are only allowed to move up to your speed (instead of up to double your speed) and you cannot draw a weapon unless you possess the Quick Draw feat. You can't use this option unless you are restricted to taking only a standard action on your turn."
Fortunately, you have a weapon in hand. You cannot draw your shield though.
Luc will be assumed to attempt to flank it and whack it with a wrench unless posted otherwise in a few hours.

Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#119General Note:
I will keep this game going so long as there are players interested. Also, it is always open for additional players.

Re: Therafter Out of Game Discussion
#12015 is a solid hit. Robot is an easy target. Damage please.
