Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#2Browsing section is currently off limits. It has some formatting errors that I am working. :) -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#3Recent activity and forum active on main do not have hyperlinks anymore. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#4I got here using them?
I made all the links bold. Is it that they don't work when clicked (or attempted to be clicked) or something? -

I can't use my middle mouse wheel click to open them in a new tab.

Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#6Ah, firefox.
Issue with the menu too, woah! -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker

middle mouse wheel click to open them in a new tab.
Known issue with Bootstrap's current version. Has an open bug report. https://github.com/twitter/bootstrap/issues/7118
PS. I didn't know that you could do that. Much easier than ctrl-click or right click open!! -

It will revolutionize how you browse. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#9Bug tracked, baited, and captured. I cant't access my 'in work-colaboration requested' subs throughh my profile's personal workspace place. I can still open them up by going through the Citadel home page and hitting the colaboration requested side bar. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#10Are they not not viewable or not clickable? And is that new? I haven't gotten to the author pages yet so it shouldn't have been affected....but since when do bugs cooperate? -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#11They are not viewable. It is not new. Bugs are evil and don't cooperate.
And bugs stopped cooperating since the vile god of evil corrupted them. They used to be helpful members of the programming society, but now they live and breathe evilness into programmer's dreams and programmer's codes. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#12went to up vote a comment
Got this line:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/strolen/public_html/lockmor/application/controllers/commenting.php on line 317 -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#13Everything associated with comments was hard broke.
Good (yet embarassing) catch! -

Fixed. Had an odd nesting if statement that hid it unless you also had public drafts available too.
Good one I would have never caught! -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#15"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/strolen/public_html/lockmor/application/views/core/main/vfooter.php on line 19" at the very bottom of the freetext page. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#16Unless you allow the menus on the main page to drop down, and then click, you can't quickly jump to sections with one click.
You can still while in the forum. I.e. Main Citadel works on single click, but you can't just click dungeons - you need to click all if you want.
Perhaps this was the case before, but I don't remember it this way. However, if you select open with a new tab or window, it goes tohttp://strolen.com/browsing/dungeons, which is what i would expect for a single click as well.

Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#17Perhaps not a 4.1 issue, but clicking on All Recent removes the menu bar. That screen is also fairly inefficient at using screen space.
As does New Since Last Visit.
Other random stuff, since I'm apparently bored tonight:
Generators: Output box too small. Automatically generate on first visit so clicking unnecessary :)
I am Hunting. Layout is really inefficient with huge amounts of vertical whitespace.
Exploring - similar issues with layout and menu bar AWOL.

Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#18Oh and I saw this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home/strolen/public_html/lockmor/application/views/core/main/vfooter.php on line 19
Database Error
MySQL server has gone away

Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#19Fixed the parse error in the footer, that was left over from my forum mod I guess. Oops!
Fixed the new since last visit and recent lists.
Will mess with the rest of those task pages tonight too. I tend to forget all about them so might as well get them out of the way so I can forget them again. :) -

This is an issue with the bootstrap framework. Its default behavior is to click to open the drop down menu. I changed it to hover with a hack and there are other hacks to make it work like it used to. I wanted to see it on an ipod/pad before I kept messing with it. (I don't have one) With all the touch screen stuff, they are going towards that so if you tap the link it is supposed to open the menu and not automatically act as a link. -

That and the other pages were riddled with elder css that never got updated. When I changed some included files I never noticed they got destroyed. I think they have been like that for a looooong time. oops x2
Cleaned them all up. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#22Did I mention before that search does _not_ seem to actually search the main text of a sub?
:)
eg: search for Transformifier
Its in one of my subs.
-
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#23I said I cleaned them up, I didn't say they would actually work. -

I said I cleaned them up, I didn't say they would actually work.
Does that mean I need to take my text editor to your codebase? -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#25You can throw your text editor all over this place. Everytime I open Sublime Text it does a file check with the site's code so anything you do will remain. Just let me know what you are working on so I can keep away.
If you want a list....I have one for you. ;)
This is a labor of love but I am more than happy for assistance. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#26Sure, toss me that list. Also, I think I need my login credentials reset. I can't find them anywhere in my PM list. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#27What problem specifically would that be? There are a large number being discussed. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#28Search page should be working now. At least as far as it was working previously. It does search only comments now if that is the intention. Probably make a better response to it that directs straight to the comment though, but it is there anyway. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#29Gassamer found a nice bug on the frontpage. IE coughed on loading more submissions and chrome and firefox failed after loading one set.
Fixed. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#30Updated XP count a few times. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#31This is a pretty minor bug that may just be related to the sub in question. Whenever I try to link 40 Thieves Guild Missions on another sub, it doesn't work. I have to lookup the sub's ID and use it explicitly. Thought it might have something to do with a name change, but the URL seems to match. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#32Can you point me to a sub you are having issues with linking to it? -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#33It's the other way around. When I try to add it as a suggestion to the bottom of another sub (say, Thick As Thieves), it fails. I got it to work using the ID, however. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#34Ah, copy that. Will put it on the list. Thanks!! -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#35I gave a full score to a submission, and it lowered the average. It was about 4.87 or something, then became 4.63ish...I know that it lowered the average at least. Is this normal? Did the scores used to go higher way back when? I suck at Math, so I have no idea. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#36Having more issues with suggesting submissions, I'm afraid.
The steps: Tried to suggest Scras' 30 Imps on MJS's 30 Wizard Companions. No luck using the auto-complete feature at the bottom. In fact, I think it actually went ahead and suggested Talon Trails when I tried (I can't be sure, but I don't think TT was a suggestion before I clicked "Suggest A Submission". -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#37Bug Found!
In my profile, when I take a peek in Personal Workshop, I can see the header of my Collaboration Subs, but not the subs under that. I know that a sub entitled Alexandra Stacja should be in there (Kassy recently gave me collaboration powers on it), but I see it not. I can still access the sub, however, but I have to take the long way. Or the short way. An alternative way.
Anyways, Strolen, my thanks to you (or to whoever actually fixes it) in advance for squashing this bug beneath your heel. -

Confirmed this today. I tried to suggest 30 Members of the Players Cult on my original submission The Players Cult, using the suggest a sub auto-complete feature at the bottom. Once I hit the button, it added Talon Trails as a suggested sub, but not the sub I was trying for. I deleted Talon Trails and re-added the suggestion using its ID. That worked. -
Re: 4.1 Bug Bounty Quest Tracker
#39Dossta, when you tried to suggest the 30 Members of the Players Cult on the Players Cult sub, did you use the sub title or did you use the id? It wasn't clear from your description and I thought it might be the cause of your bug. At one pt (v2 of the Citadel), I think you can use either when you suggest a submission but in the current version of the Citadel, you can only use the sub id. -

OK, I think I fixed this one. This was a kinda known bug with other things and I forgot about it for this when I updated it to take the text or ID. Moonlake was correct, for awhile it was ID only but I did update that at some point.
The issue is that Talon Trails is ID# 30. So when you try and put in a 30 XXX sub, it only grabs the 30 for some reason and spits that out. I did a numeric check now so if it is all number, it will get it by ID otherwise look up the actual sub name for adding.
I tested it a couple times and it seems to work for me, let me know!
Thanks!
