"Ya' know what's really spiffy? White Wolf's Exalted series. And pie. Pie is really good. Ya' now what makes the best pies? Pies in which the secret ingredient.....IS EVIL! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
  3. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    Mmmmmmmmmmmm.......Evil pie.....
  4. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #4
Okay, that's what I'm talking about, even if it is an extreme example.
  5. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

I like pie much better than cake!

Thank you for the warning against wierdness, I will be on the lookout. As for assitance, if anyone would be kind enough as to maybe explain a brief history of this place and a map would be helpful, if possible.
  7. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

Umm... I'm not sure we've ever gotten as far as a history... there is a map of sorts in the album. I got bored and made it.
  8. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    Map, aye?

Well, there's an outer wall with battlements, a couryard inside, some buildings with stuff in them, a kitchen, a big gate, and big open field out in front with a road down it....Is that a good enough word-picture for you?
  9. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    Five.
  10. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #10
not exactly, I meant the whole kingdom, not one castle. And what's five mean?
  11. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #11
FIVE NEEDS NO EXPLANATION! IT IS FIVE! IT IS THE TRUTH! ALL HAIL FIVE!

There is no kingdom. Only a Citadel. As far as I know, at least.
  12. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #12
All Citadels are located within some kind of kingdom, or is large enough to be a kingdom in itself. Your description did not meet either of these requirements.

I will never hail 5, for it is 5 that killed my brother.
  13. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #13
Are you questioning five!? Don't you talk about five like that!
  14. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #14
And I believe that you told us that you killed your brother. Phage, was it?

GO FIVE! (Waves pom-poms and wears a cheerleader sweater with the number five on it)
  15. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #15
Yes I killed my brother, with 5 strokes, so I hate 5 and can never respect it.
  16. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #16
    Oh.
  17. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #17
Is this the first time you've been lost for words?
  18. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #18
Well, no. Read Lewd Beholder's entrance and you'll see another place. But it is quite a rare and nigh-mythical phenomenon.

    Like Sasquatch! HOOHAH!
  19. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #19
Kewl, I've been on the site for 2 hours and I've already caused a highly rare phenomenon!!
  20. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #20
You must always remember, when in doubt, WWCD. That stands for "What Would Cthulhu Do?"

    Yes. Always remember WWCD.
  21. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #21
Who is Cthulhu. I need to know who he is before I know what he will do.

Also, can anyone arrange a meeting with your king for me? I need to let him know there is a new warrior in town!
  22. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #22
Cthulhu is an Elder One from the eldritch, non-Euclidean spaces outside our dimension. He is the manifest madness, the high priest of the daemon-sultan Azathoth who sleeps beneath the sea in the drowned city of Ry'ulyeh(sp?), awaiting the time when the stars will be right and he can rise from the deep to bring the ultimate nightmare of destruction upon the world. WWCD!

The king? Could you be referring to Manfred, his Manic Majesty? Or our own flying squirrel master, Strolen, Ignorance Incarnate?

Might I also say that the Citadel is home to two dragons (Kassil and Karad'as), a flaming head (Agar), a whole bunch of elves, some sort of wierd animal-elf hybrid (Zsaelia), a forgotten vampire god who hasn't posted in a while (forgottengods), a doctor of phluidology (drphluid), a demon zergling thing (Da Wergyling), and my own crewmember who also hasn't posted in a while (PriatePenguin), among others. Many many many many many many many many many others, most of whom have never posted.

    CTHULHU FOR PRESIDENT IN 2005!
  24. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #24
How can the supreme evil one be president? This CTHULHU character sounds like he is in desperate need of a good ass kicking.
  25. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #25
You displease the Old Ones! When Cthulhu is president, you will be devoured first!

Yes, well, life's funny that way, isn't it?
    Real stimulating conversation, oh yarr.
  26. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #26
He will never win. Look at my signature. Its true, no matter how you look at it. And If I go down, Im taken as many as I can with me!
  27. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #27
I would tell you that Cthulhu is not the supreme evil, Azathoth is, except that Azathoth is the Idiot God of Destruction, the shuddering mass at the center of the galaxy, the blind, mad, screaming, nuclear chaos at the point where all dimensions fall into one infinitely hot, infinitely dense point of primal, screaming energy where insane huge gods dance and gesture mindlessly to the horrible thin whine of demonic flutes and tambourines. So, since Azathoth really isn't very intelligent, I guess Cthulhu is the supreme evil.
  28. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #28
Ha, and as the past has told us, and as it is sung in all the great songs, the supreme evil is always defeated, and therefore your Cthulhu will not win. As I said, he comes for me, he gets an arrow between the eyes and a rappier growing out of his middle.
  29. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #29
I dunno. I mean, if he really rises, chances are that if you see him, it'll, like, shatter your insignificant mortal sanity into tiny shards of madness, so you might not be able to fire any of those spiffy poison arrows or use yer rapier.

And he's like a god, man!
  30. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #30
Don't be too sure of your precious Cthulhu. Remember, Ferahgo is a skilled assasson and warrior. He laughs at death, and while this creature may be like nothing hes ever seen, his reflex's will do the battling for him.
  31. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #31
    A god!

Yep. I sure knows my H.P. Lovecraft.

Fascinating. A very stimulating conversation, yes. Quite. Quite.
  32. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #32
    A god, man, a god!
  33. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #33
nope, not a god, just an extremely loyal warrior!!
  34. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #34
    No, I mean Cthulhu's a god.
    A god!

Like a deity, only better, man!!

"This is getting silly." Ria Hawk wanders back out into the courtyard. "First and foremost, Captain, 5 is not the greatest. That positition is undoubtable held by 42. FORTY-TWO, I SAY! Secondly, I say that you can't ever defeat hte ultimate evil, because then you wouldn't have anything to do. You can only ruin the plans of Ultimate Evil. Thirdly, I thought Cthulu was female."
  36. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #36
"No, I'm pretty sure that Cthulhu is a male. And without evil, there could be no good. As the sun makes a shadow, so does good beget evil, and evil good. Without darkness, there would also be nothing to compare light to, so light wouldn't be so great. The sun can give you a sunburn; Too little sun can poison you; examples; examples; ect. and so forth and so on and all that shed monkey fur in a hand drum."
  37. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #37
"But now that I think about it, can a being of such total and uncompromising demonic horrendous evil such as the Old One Cthulhu really be classified as male or female? I mean, such concepts as evil and good, law and chaos, can they really be so easily personified? Can they really be understood? Those are just words, while the concepts behind them are so much greater, so much more significant that we cannot truly make them a part of our purely human existence, much less conceptualize them well enough to mold them into the form of an ac...actua....ack! Gah! Brain...Smart talk...makes mind......Uh....."
    (Collapses onto the ground, twitching)
  38. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #38
"Well, that's not good. There's only one thing to do." Ria walks back into the kitchen and returns rolling a barrel. She pushes it across the courtyard. "Captain, one of your grog barrels is getting away."
  39. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #39
I have never been so confused before.
  40. Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)

    #40
Captain Penguin explodes into action, chasing after the grog barrel with what seems like insane celerity.
    "D'ARR!"
