Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#41Wait, Duilwen, I thought you were a Tyrannical Pig Dictator?
Polymorph  -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#42Wow, I feel confused too.
Just need to remind there was also talk about Good and Evil in the Citadel's Tavern too. A bit more theoretical in nature. Add if you like. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#43Thank you Ria Hawk, for getting rid of captain penguin, if only for a short time. As to the ultimate evil, Whenever one is defeated, another, stronger villian steps in to take place, and the previous strength that worked previously is now obsolete. It is this constant line of evil that pushes good to be stronger and faster than they ever thought possible. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#44Better the evil you know then the one you don't eh?
BTW, hi! -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#45Hello, and yes, I would rather prefer the known evil, unless the unknown is just a lousy penguin pirate captain. Then I want the unknow, because it has no chance against me!! :P -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#46mainly because penguins cant fly, so getting away wouldnt be that hard.
but then he'd probably sick Cthulhu on me. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#47mainly because penguins cant fly, so getting away wouldnt be that hard.
Perhaps. But penguins are excellent swimmers, so I guess it all depends on how you try to get away. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#48Well, Elves arn't the best of swimmers, though we do ok when need be. Naturally I would run or ride. Penguins don't walk that fast either. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#49"But what about sea elves? And elves that live near rivers? And elves that live in forests were they need to fish to eat? And elves that can swim well? Yarr!" -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#50"Um, actually, I wasn't trying to get rid of him. Just wake him up. He's not evil, just wierd. Granted, usually not this wierd. I think it was my earlier comment about us being silly that set him off." Ria blushes sheepishly. "Sorry about that." -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#51*hands bowl of kettle krisp popcorn to Sniperspy* Merry Meet...you seem to be having a great time already. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#52Yes, I seem to fit in here very well. Obviously, I am just as wierd as the rest. Oh well, and I didn't mean he was evil, yet his Cthulhu God is. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#53*Finishing the bowl of popcorn in true warrior fassion, Ferahgo hands the bowl back and thanks this kind woman for her gift. As a return token, he produces a small vial, and presents her with it.*
"Thats an enhanced silken coat potion, it will make your fine blue fur even more luxurious." -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#54Now look at what I have just discovered, for you Cthulhu obsessed...
http://www.cthuugle.com/
Cthuugle - The complete HP Lovecraft Search Engine ! -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#55"Acturly, I already knew about Cthuugle. Every true Lovecraftophile should." -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#56A shadow appears over the ground.
"Hasnt anybody told you not to disturb a dragons sleep. I live far away and i could still hear you crazy shouts. As for the greatest number there is no doubt it is 12." he started to look closer and he sees a person he had never seen before, "ohh now i understand, a new addition, welcome to the citadel, hope you feel like home. Now i have to go to resume my sleep please keep your voices out dont make me come out to tell you again." -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#57Thank you Karad´as, And that Albert Einstien quote is one of my favorites. Maybe there is semi-intelligent life here after all. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#58HEY!!! I take great offense to that remark! I'm very intelligent, just subject to fits of random insanity! -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#59some humans are intelligent. It is referring to mankind in general. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#60Thank you kind sir for the potion.....one's fur can never be too long, or too silky. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#61Its the least I can do for so graciously accepting me into your homeland. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#62Thank you for the warning against wierdness, I will be on the lookout. As for assitance, if anyone would be kind enough as to maybe explain a brief history of this place and a map would be helpful, if possible.
Umm... I'm not sure we've ever gotten as far as a history... there is a map of sorts in the album. I got bored and made it.
Well, there actually is a story behind the citadel and it was, in part, based on an old old old campaign that I ran, and even had a small showing in in my PBeM and it also was played during a not so old but still considered old in a new old type way campaign in my fledgling Spain GMing days. It is in the yet unposted archives of the Aros PBeM so I can't even point you to something in the meantime.
It has a small bit to do with the idea for Talon Trails
Perhaps it will be a tail that is told before too long. (after finals around the second week of May. I want to rewrite the adventure so it is more descriptive to show what the Citadel was based on) -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#63Ya, that would be pretty cool if there was a legend behind this place. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#64Also, the map is pretty cool, but it would be nice if there was something bigger. Maybe a forest outside, our the citadle itself could expand. I'm not the best artist in the world so I can't give a visual. Sorry! -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#65has anyone heard of a "factual fiction" book?
One of my friends mentioned that name the other day. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#66Nope. But, FINALS ARE DONE!!!! For me at least.... -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#67Me too! But I've still got to pack, and I seem to be having a slight problem with roaches from hell. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#68:D feels great doesn't it! mine were over last friday! -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#69Mine havnt even started yet, but I just finished the SAT's!
Thats a relief, even though if anyone failed them their IQ is 40 or lower.
5+ (-4) was one question  -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#70SEHT NEHT IYA -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#71Exactly what I said!
How come when you talk to God ou are praying, but when God talks to you, you are considered insane? -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#72So that's why people consider me crazy. I am tuned into a different radio station. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#73But I also must ask why sport fanatics are cool, but religious fanatics are evil. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#74Because many religious fanatics are willing to kill for their god or gods. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#75thats possible, but my question is kind of wierd! -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#76Or could it be that maybe you're just weird? -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#77maybe, I am a bit strange! -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#78I have seen many soccer fanatics do the same thing. So there is no difference, really. All fanatic incite and revel in violence to prove their point; even if the Bible and rule book specify fair play and sportsmanship. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#79well, if they resort to things like murder, they probably are not true Christians. A true Christian would not do that no matter how much it seemed like a good solution to their problem. -
Snipe Hunting (Anybody recognize that reference?)
#80Murder, definitely not, but if my family was ever put in a life-or-death situation by an evil-doer, then I would not-so-gladly use extreme measures to protect them. Even if it meant taking the perpetraitor's life.
