The Call of Captain-thulhu
#1You're a very strange, strange little man. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#2:lol: -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#3So, is this an example of how Captainpenguin usually is? He still seems strange to me. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#4But that's not the half of it, my plastic, clicking, turning-based friend!
Monkey flames! Orange soda on a rocket ship!
I'm not flying! HAHA! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#5Thats my personal action figure, not me. And if this isn't the half of it then you are truly insane....COOL!!! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#6Hmm... it may have been 8-bit Theater that got him started. It seems like he hasn't been the same since we steered him over that way... -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#7No, acturly, 8-Bit Theater only sparked it. My eccentricities are like the oil wells beneath the Middle East; They are mostly untapped. Without something to spark my weirdness, I'm quite quiet, calm, introverted, and innoffensive. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#8Hmm... I think 8-bit Theater is silly.
At least the first hundred strips... let's see the others!
Thanks for the link, hope I don't get weirder this way too...  :?  -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#9I'm afraid there's small hope of that. The charaters stay preety consistant through out the whole thing. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#10I'm very afraid of being crushed to death between a bison and Larry Flint.
Very, very, very afraid.
If I were ever on a field with a bison and Larry Flint, I might just kill myself. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#11I really like strawberries, though.
Strawberries are very tasty. Tasty and red.
Red fruit is cool. But not in the Sword of Truth series. In the Sword of Truth series, all red fruit in the Midlands is poisonous and kills you. Kills you dead! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#12"Yes Captain!...Yes Captain!...Hello Mrs. Pigglesworth!...The frogs are attacking!...Who brought the salad?"
Sorry, but if everyone here is going to spout off randomly, I better learn to do so as well. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#13"That's the way, sniperspy! Spout, dammit, spout! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#14Spout huh?
Pencils are pointy...water is wet...Woof...Woof...black is dark...free the gorillas...death to fireflies...rolling along...honk if you love fishing...where are my pants? -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#15(Dons a black robe like Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars and cackles menacingly.)
"You learn well, my young apprentice. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#16(Whips out a referee's whistle and uses it)
WHOA!! Penalty Captain Penguin and sniperspy. 10 minutes for bad impersonations. Reality check guys. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#17Reality check guys.
Rea... Regh... Rey... Relll...
What's that word about here? -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#18*pauses to let randomness slip away* Thanks. I am usually rather level headed, but I can get pretty strange when in the right compony! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#19Ia Cthulhu!
Ia Shub-Niggurath!
Ia Yog-Sothoth!
Ia, Ia, Ia! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#20What's that word about here?
Reality, n.; 1. The state or quality of being real; actual being or existence of anything, in distinction from mere appearance; fact.
Basically, it's a way to keep the insanity in check. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#21reality, that dreadful yet inevitable word of our everyday lives -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#22(Sigh)The thing we love to hate. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#23No reality could penetrate the armor of my insanity!
Come fly with me...Oh, baby!
And now, Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. No, wait, I can't do it justice. The song is just too cool.
By the way, I just got Final Fantasy Origins. It has FF1 and FF2 on it. FF1 is pretty light fare, but all in all, it's playable, and sometimes pretty cool. If you're trying to find a game with a deep story and powerful plot elements and well developed characters, I don't recommend FF1. I haven't played FF2, yet. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#24I can be crazier than the rest of you combined, if opportunity struck. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#25Well if you call that water is wet woof woof thing crazy, well then, my friend, I could crazy you under the table!
WOOHAH! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#26that wasnt crazy, that was random. I can be extremely crazy when the right time comes. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#27Don't even start. I'm an anime fan/theater person/role-player/wannabe teacher/writer. By definition I'm utterly insane, and very, very weird. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#28Yeah, well I'm a role-player/anime otaku/comic book artist/artist/writer/student/video-game player/computer-game player!
SO HAH!! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#29Oh, yeah, I've now played FF2, and it's pretty cool. It actually has a story, unlike FF1. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#30Okay, I admit you've got me beat out with the artist thing. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#31Yes! That means I win! But nice attempt, Ria Hawk. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#32Lesse...
Writer/theater technician/computer gamer/pen-and-paper gamer/Game Master (11+ years)/generic anime otaku/lifeform who honestly believes he's an ex-dragon with far, far too many lifetimes of existence behind him/Discordian.
...Don't mind me, I'm just the lunatic background noise. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#33Umm.. I think Kassil's got you beat out, Cap'n. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#34If nothing else, the Discordian part outmuscles just about everything. A disciple (not worshipper!) of the Goddess of Chaos, Mischief, Confusion, and Laughter rates fairly high up on the lunacy chart... -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#35im the same as captainpenguin except Im not an artist. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#36Dammit, Kassil!
Hey, sniperspy, if you're interested in the Cthulhu Mythos and H.P. Lovecraft (Y'know, Cthulhu, Yog-Sothoth, Shub-Niggurath, Azathoth, Nyarlathotep, Nodens, Eibon, Dagon, Mordiggian, Athlach-Nacha, Chaugnar Faugn, the Elder Things, the Yithians, the Nightguants, Randolph Carter, and the rest of that lot), try going to the H.P. Lovecraft Library.

Cthuugle is also good, though it's more for fans who know what they're talking about.

The Call of Captain-thulhu
#37...Hey, I said I'm background noise.... I'm too bananas to be a single concise object. Therefore, while I may beat you as a lunatic, Cap'n, you still register on the lunatic meters more readily than I do.
...Most people whack the meter a few times when a mountain range reads as insane, anyway. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#38Ah...But are you mad?
Or just insane?
It takes a special kind of crazy to be.....mad!
(I consider myself mad, but maybe I'm not....Nah, I am!) -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#39Ive been called mad before. Of course, the person who said it was himself mad, so I don't really know. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#40Well, in any case, I don't really care who's crazier than who, just that we're all insane to some extent. I mean, if you want all out random insanity, look no further than ephemeralstability (ep, you know what I'm talking about.), but if you want....madness.....Well, you can find that anywhere around here.
Does anybody ski? I ski and I think that summer is overrated.
