The Call of Captain-thulhu
#41Oh hush. I'm ready for it to be summer. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#42No! It was too warm during winter here in Idaho! I want to ski, dammit!
I never got to because none of the snow stuck. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#43skiing? no way. I snowboard some, but all of my physical activity is usually soccer, where spring is best! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#44I wish you'd have said something a little sooner Captain. We had alot of snow up here until recently. I could have sent you some. :)
Personally, I don't really have any preference as to the seasons.I enjoy the warmth of summer while hating the bugs (who doesn't?), winter is very beautiful but I really don't like the cold. As for spring and fall, they too have their merits but I just can't think of them right now. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#45Winter. Definitely winter.
Winter's high points: If I get too cold, I just wear a little extra clothing, or turn up the heat.
The sun doesn't burn down as harshly in the winter as it does in the summer.
...My beloved likes to play in the snow.
It's easier to put on a jacket and go outside to work than it is to go out wearing just enough to protect yourself from the summer sun and sweat to death. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#46I still say spring is best. It's not cold, but not warm either, just slighlty chilly. It rains a lot, and is still sunny all the time! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#47Nah! Sometimes, it seems like snowboarders are a bunch of rude, disrespectful maniacs. Of course, that's sort of stereotypical, but they really are quite rude sometimes, chopping up the snow and sitting down right in the middle of the run.
I love the snow. I love to ski. I like longer nights.
I hate sweating. I hate the beating sun. Of course, I never have to wear socks in the summer, and I really dislike socks. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#48Yeah! GO SNOW!
(Gives Kassil a little high five)
I agree with your reasons, Kassil, in addition to mine.
....'Cept, I don't have a beloved......
Oh well! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#49Now that we talk about the weather...
Not for summer or winter either... like more the seasons between. And sure spring looks better that way!
So much for the weather tonight! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#50We are coming up on Typhoon season here and it has been windy as heck lately (not typhoon season yet). It has basically been rainy for the past two weeks with a day or two of nice weather. Perfect finals weather!!
Snow, don't mind it at all, bring it on. Doesn't snow enough here though.
Heat, it gets damn hot here, no likey.
I love the rain and usually only get motivated to go on my run when it rains. Love the initial dry just entering the rain feeling and then I am about ready to get home at the end of the run. I love Typhoon season. We are too far inland to get hit by anything hard, but man can it storm. Funny thing is, everywhere I have lived, California, Spain and now Japan....no *real* thrunder and lightning. Occasional, but wimpy. Give me a good midwestern US thunderstorm with thunder that rattles the windows. That is what I miss!!! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#51I like thunderstorms. They're always fun to listen to even when you can't see them. Unfortunately, our dogs really freak out at the sound of thunder. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#52The place where I live is strange. Every seven or eight years we get a year of heavy rains - and generally five years after a rain season, we get a thunder season, when we have plenty of clouds, but little rain. Lightning, however, is perfectly common during this time, and usually results in me swearing as the power goes out again, destroying whatever I was working on with my computer. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#53I Love it when it rains!! especially on a warm summers night. I like to crack my bedroom window so I can hear it pattering on the trees out side my window. The lightning fills your room in sharp bright flashes it scares my cat though he slleps right above my head and the thunder makes him nervous! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#54Well, in Idaho, or at least in my part of Idaho, ya get incredibly hot temps in the summer (At least it's not humid), snowy winters that are usually cold, springs that are miserably wet, and autumns that are chilly and wet. We rarely get thunder or lightning, but when we do, my dog goes insane. But still, I like snow. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#55Yeah, I live in a nice area. Summer temperatures, while I complain, are nothing compared to say, Texas or Florida. Spring, it usually rains approximately a third of the time, unless it's El Nino year, which just screws everything up. I like the rain (just not being out in it), and occasionally thunder and lightning. I love the way it smells just before it rains. Fall is NICE, and indeed my favorite season. The temperature is just right, and it doesn't rain much, and the leaves are turning colors. Winter... well, it can be nasty. We don't get much snow, but when we do, it's something to behold. I think it gets damn cold, but I've seen people migrate south to our area when winter hits. And, for some reason (I personally blame Magician Murphey), it doesn't matter when it happens, but when the local ski resort shuts down for its annual two-week maintence run is when we get the blizzards. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#56I also love rain and I love to be out in it, because Idaho is so dry! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#57In the winter time you can forget snow we get Ice and since I live in the backwoods of Tennessee, when the Ice knocks out my power it takes weeks to get it back on, but it does make a beautiful picture ( I sketch) in the woods where everything looks like it is colored glass frozen in time just for me!!! I like spring because it is fun to play in the rain and you see all the beautiful flowers begining to bloom the small orchard that is near my house explodes with clors and fragraces you can smell the sweet plum blossoms from my house when the wind hits them right. Summer weather I love it you can go find you a comfortable place in a shady tree and read or sketch until the sun sets! I do love the fall when the ground gets covered with all the crispy leaves I get my younger cousin and we rake up a big pile to jump into (some of the craziest pictures you'd ever see!!) so all the seasons are cool with me!!! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#58Where exactly in Tennessee are you from? -
The Call of Captain-thulhu

The Call of Captain-thulhu
#66did anyone ever say anything about your name Capin? Not to say anything against it but I wouldn't appreciate be prejudged because My choice of name. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#67Do you really know what it means when a person chooses anything along the lines of SS6Goku? Well, do you? Have you any idea what kind of things people with names like SSJVEgeta and SSJGoku and SS12Gohan do?
Eh?
Eh? -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#68Whoa! Time out, Cap! This is getting out of hand! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#69Yes I know what happens but you can't make a judgement on someone because of previuos situations. Besides All of us have to learn and maybe if someone told him when he was making an unwise desion or pionted out that this is a Sci- fi and fantasy and not cartoon RPG he might do one of two things: Get mad; storm off and not come back or realize that they are merely trying to be directed into the flow of the forum. You can't just put them Down before they've even posted They just need to be directed and taught Look at me I am still incredibly new at this but I am learning and it is because of you and all the other players that I am. I am not trying to say that you have good points but every one deserves a fair chance. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#70Bah. It's not worth arguing over anyway. He'll probably never post.
Same as most of the people who join. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#71Never go to Tiajuana when you have squirrels in your pockets. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#72True... That is quite a shame though... I rather enjoy diversity... by the way I hope I did not offend you I mean to make no enemies I am really quite a friendly person!! -
The Call of Captain-thulhu

#76You can say that again! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!

The Call of Captain-thulhu
#77Uniform dialysis death.
Just you watch, everyone. When all of your lives shift seven inches to the left, like mine, you'll know the truth. Oh yes. You think you know, but you have no idea. Just wait.
Wait until your life shifts seven inches to the left. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#78Seven inches, man, seven inches. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
#79I think mine went nine to the right. -
The Call of Captain-thulhu
