Re: Powers That Be OOC

Re: Powers That Be OOC

#83So with that all sorted out...

#84GM post coming tonight -
Re: Powers That Be OOC

Re: Powers That Be OOC
#86Yah, standard living room furniture. Except for what I've pointed out, it's normally furnished. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#87Poor John. He is about to understand why all superheroes generally bug out before the police officers show up.
So the next few hours will be spent detained and questioned, on site.. possibly longer if they want to talk to you downtown as well. They will have to book you because you did shoot someone. Your gun is now evidence, so you get to sign it over until the arraignment if not trial. There is a few more hours. Then there is the court docket. Eventually Marcus's lawyer will be able to get you out on bail. If we are lucky, that will be sometime today, and not tommorow. And in six weeks or so, you will have the arraignment where the DA will decide to dismiss the charges against you (if we are lucky, since you are a registered user and you can probably make a claim for "I feared for my life".). -

Re: Powers That Be OOC
#90New Character coming in soon
Character Name: James Shaw
Age: 29
Occupation: Construction Worker
Super Power: Earth Control
Weakness: Air attacks that create a vacuum, Heights of more then 4 stories
Class: Tough
Background: James Shaw, has lived a mediocre life but has a good job, comes from a good family in Virginia, and has always had an affinity for construction. He takes pride in good work, and never grumbles about the long hours, but has a problem with heights. He enjoys the outdoors but prefers the city, which he feels an affinity for, as he calls it, “Solid ground”
But his job was almost his undoing when he was working on concrete supports from a 3rd floor scaffolding. The foreman had signaled for more concrete to be released into the wooden mold, but the flow pipe went wild and struck the scaffolding, toppling it and James into the mold. He sank like a rock and as they tried to break the mold to rescue him, he seemed to float to the top, unconscious but breathing, the concrete had dried and pushed him up as it did so, or at least that seemed to be the consensus among the workers. When he woke up, he was greeted by the relieved faces of his co-workers and was given the rest of the day off. He counted himself lucky and thought nothing of it. A month later, his voluntary vacation ended and he got an offer to work down in Louisiana rebuilding after Katrina. -

Re: Powers That Be OOC
#92Sorry for my absence. RL snagged me. I'll post later tonight. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#93A post for John should be coming later tonight. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#94I had an awful weekend, so I am back now.
Pariah, do you want an alternate vendor to deliver the package for you. If you do, I think I can find one. If not, and you want to be hunted, let me know OOC.
-
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#95So you know, I can't really go anywhere with the safe house group until I know what Moon is going to do with certain peices of info. I'm not ignoring you. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#96sorry, I was away all weekend (unexpectedly). If its STILL not to late to rejoin, I will start posting this week.
**There is a Greg sighting in the safehouse!** -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#97That took a long time to prep. But I think the wait would be worth it.
-
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#98Jarons, you can enter whenever you want to; your char is asleep upstairs. I leave it to you and Moon to work out how he got there and how long he's been there. I would assume that he knows he's there; I don't think anyone is ready for the complications that would arise if he was kidnapped there. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#99so... ummm.... -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#100Yeeeeeeeeah.... I promise I'll post soon to move things along... -

#103If someone wants to step up to James, go ahead, someone convince me and lets get some posts -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#104I'm putting this game on indefinite hold. The original idea I had seems less workable the more I think about it, and due to various real life concerns, I don't have the energy to run a game. It's not fair to you guys to leave you all in limbo like this, so I won't. I'll let you know when (if) I restart the game; it may be a while.
I'm really sorry about this, guys. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#105Hey, ya gotta know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em. Thanks for the effort you put into the game, Ria. :D It was definintely worth a shot and an excellent RP excercise. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#106*tap tap tap* is this thing on?
hang the first thing if it's unworkable. Make up something new. we just need some sort of mission or goal and you can make up the rest as we go :) -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#107Well, I'm pondering some possible ideas, but the various real-life things still mean I haven't got the energy to gm. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#108I'm just going to keep knocking on this thread every once in awhile  -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#109Great idea. Perhaps we'll get it going again.
Think of it this way: if she doesn't have time for the game, she probably doesn't have time to move it to the inactive section. Right? -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#110Heh, tru' dat. Anyways, if this thing gets itself a kickstart in the exceedingly near future I might be able to plays for a whiles again. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#111I wanted to light somebody on fire at least. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#112awwww... we've been replaced in Ria's heart by another RP thread *sniffle* -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#113No, my affections have not been redirected. I guess you all really want to play, huh?
Give me a few days to come up with something, and I'll probably restart the opening, since we weren't too far along and I don't like what did happen.
Roll call, who's in, who's out. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#114I'm in! -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#115I'm game. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#116Same characters? I'm in. Though perhaps without the bullet in my chest this time... -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#117Insies -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#118I'm double in  -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
#119All right, I have a sort of idea as to what will be going on. You can play the same characters, or you can play a new one. If you decide to do a new one, pm me the details.
I'll probably restart the game Friday or Saturday. -
Re: Powers That Be OOC
