#42*cough cough* ...we could also recognize the 'Updated' comments as regular comments, so when you do a serious update, and actually use the little box to notify the world about it, it will show.
On a related note, how will we know that somebody replied on our sub that is In Work, in Advice Requested, a Stub, or some other particular state other than "official"?
How about ANY new comment on your subs, wherever they may be, is displayed for you in Newest 20 Comments and New Since Last Visit? -

#43I would really like an "undead" category for lifeforms subs. It doesn't quite seem right to categorize undead types as ethereal or constructed, which is the only two things I can think of to put them as. -

#44I've always thought of them as 3rd kingdom, myself, along with demons.
But an undead category would be nice.

#46That will come. There is a fancy ajax script that will allow you to edit on the page much like the forum allows. That is definitely on the list. -

#47So i was wandering about on another forum and they have a script that lets them hide spoilers.
So you can write, and if there is something you might not want immediately visible you can tuck it under this Spoiler tag. When it is submitted, the information is hidden until you click on the spoiler button (in the text box) then it pops open the block of hidden text, and the button goes from spoiler to hide, click it again and the text goes back to being hidden.

This forum thread is a discussion of the spoiler mechanic and maybe you can get some idea of it. I'd like to see it here at the citadel, maybe not called spoiler but maybe something like More/Less.

But why? Why not link submissions and stubs and whatnot?
Because no new windows are opened, and minor chunks can be left as minor chunks. Plus it can be used for the intended purpose of hiding spoiler information. such as Cap'n Zanzibar He's a VAMPIRE!!!.

Each pages turns into an eyeball chopping computer lagging nausea inducing mess of repeated pictures and pointless self adulation. I just wanted to point out that our use of the left side avatar and a small block of text as a signature is very eyeball friendly to me and I heartily approve. -

#51Well, consider there to be a need. Half the reason I use subscript footnotes is because I can't maintain continuity while inserting the information (that usually clarifies something). -

#53Added ability for contributing authors to edit the sub they helped with. Been tested but if you run into issues, let me know.
Also added another quick link in the right menu to highlight multiple author submission...just because! -

#59Oh, I guess it does work. Not what I was expecting. I thought it was some fancy unhide type thing...this only makes the text the same color as the background so you have to highlight it.
I guess it serves its purpose. The new site will have an updated forum so won't mess too much with this. -
