60 xp 5,877 views

Special Equipment:

Mace Of Song (+STR, +CON) Honor Of The Queen (Amulet, +CH) Wolf Whistle (Magic Item)

Appearance:

Teggeter is a Half Orc, with mostly human features. His nose is a bit large for his face, and he has an underbite, with the tips of his fangs poking out from his mouth. He has large, rounded features, and is nearly seven feet tall. He is dressed for the north, wearing a royal blue tunic over chain and leather, fur lined boots, and a silver amulet around his neck, The Honor Of The Queen. His two handed mace is nearly always at his side, the silver Mace Of Song.

Teggeter is a softspoken man, quick to smile and friendly. But if you cross him, he becomes angry. And you wont like him when he's angry. He was once trained with a bard, and is quite a good singer, often using his powers of song to strengthen himself.

Background:

Teggeter came into the north as a young man, seeking his wild older brother, a half orc like him. He was a young, brash fighter, and after finding his brother was dead, allied himself with the enemies of his killers. The killers were a tribal faction of druids, making war on the small mountain city of Haventoo. Teggeter proved himself a worthy warrior, fighting through the war untill the druids were beaten back. He ended up marying the human leader of the Haventoo warriors, and now has two children living in Haventoo. He will do anything to protect Haventoo, and his family.

Roleplaying Notes:

Teggeter is a good 'guardsman' type character, probably the one who will ask the party to go destroy the rebels while he holds down the fort. He has acess to funds, as well as good influence. He would be able to reward the players with discounts at the Haventoo merchants, as well as gold.

If you have a bard-type in your party, Tegg will loan them his Wolf Whistle, which is a one time use (for you) summon up a pack of wolves to aid in the general smiting of enemies.

Hall of Honour

for Teggeter

The Hall of Honour is your mark on a submission you believe is frick’n awesome — so good you would jump in front of a dragon’s breath to protect the scroll it is written on.

Bestowing HoH also highlights it on the front of the Citadel for about a day, so others see the recognition it earned.

You may bestow HoH on the same submission up to your level (with a short wait between strikes). Five distinct HoH voters raise a work to Golden.

I like it! I often reuse old characters that I use to have. By the way, does the mace or amulet do anything else than raise stats?

Make 'im look damn cool. Oh, and the mace sings, kinda. When it moves though the air, it makes a cool 'Whrrr!' noise. That scary type noise. I got the idea from the Natural History Museum's IMAX presentation of STOMP, where the artist guy is whiffling around that wood on a string to make that errie sound.

Maybe there is a special power, unknown (or not?) to the current wielder, perhaps even long forgotten...

If the wielder sings a warrior's song (of the mace' original culture), he gains a nice bonus at the end of each verse he sings fully.

The culture may be long gone, but surely legends remain, of mighty warriors, singing their song of battle, merrily decimating the enemy. Such a song may remain, too...
