Legacy of the Pharaohs
Ancient Egypt, Land of the Pharaohs: What will you find among the eternal sands?
The people of Ancient Egypt built a civilization that defies the ages. The birthplace of much that Western culture takes for granted, Egypt's history and legends still inspire tales of adventure and mystery.
As an alternative to the standard Tolkien-inspired fantasy, adventurers may travel to a land of burning sands and mighty enchantments, where the river's annual floods bring new life and the tombs of Pharaohs dominate the landscape. A land where myriad local gods claim worshippers and the mighty god of the sun is honored with brightly-adorned temples.
This collection is intended to provide game masters with resources that have an 'Egyptian' flavor, submissions reminiscent of the Land of the Nile.

Always loved the flavour of ancient Egypt.
Definately have to work on something to add to this one. Eventually...
What a nice thematic Codex! And very useful, if you dare into the land of burning sands... :)
Egypt is a great source of material. If you are interested in gaming in Egypt, the only useful game suppliment I have found is GURPS Egypt. Even if you don't know GURPs the source material is useful to you in setting up a game. (And GURPS LITE is like 8 pages and a totally free pdf.. so you can get the rules if you want to understand them).

While not Egyptian, Egypt is this submission clusters' inspiration in both form and place in the game world's history.
Aviontix There are seven or so submissions in that cluster.
Misclicked and voted the wrong value. Correcting that now.
Great idea for a Codex!
Having been watching the discovery channel recently and seeing a lot of Egyptian flavor there. This is interesting to me right now. Good job.
I think this is a great idea for all the obvious reasons. I love the genre, and now we have all the egypto-flavor subs under one heading. good work!
I've always been a large fan of Ancient Egypt, ever since my childhood. As it was another major factor that contributed to my getting involved with roleplaying. I used to have 'adventures' in my daydreams as a kid of being there. *Memories*
4/5 and HoH from me!
