Romance of the Three Kingdoms | Setting: Plains | Class: Fighter | Author: Raen [ Print Plot ]

During the wars of the Three Kingdoms in China's history, the PC is a lowly mercenary struggling to make a name for himself. In a world where only the strongest survive, can your PC ally himself with the right people at the right time?

The plot is taken mostly from the chinese history anology, 'san guo yan yi', or 'The Romance of the Three Kingdoms', an epic tale of war and betrayal. The PC, as a mercenary starting out, can hire himself out to any of the three main generals at a significant time in the war.

The three generals are Song Quan, Liu Bei and Cao Cao. All have their strengths and weaknesses, and through it all the PC must battle and stratigise. A knowledge of the history would certainly help.

Many different paths can be taken throughout the plot, and the PC will have the chance to interact with people from all over china, from the greatest general to the lowest peasant.

In a place where mythology and battle are the main keys to success what will your PC end up as?

   This ain't saving it.
