Sorting to be sorted out
#1I did a little reading and editing on my older submissions, and now I see they are all on the top! The changes were mostly correcting mistyped words etc. I think it is quite ok for 'Most Recent' to behave this way, but we could also make only new Comments valid for this purpose. Otherwise, changing a single word brings any submission to the top.
Second thought: will we keep the 'Date' sorting with the 'Most Recent' or not? Is anyone interested to see the original order of submissions, as they were submitted (ignoring comments and later changes)? -

#2I would say that I am intrested in the date submitted, but also in the last comment added date.
Last change to the item/npc/setting/idea is irrelevant if you ask me. (As manfred says, most of those would be correcting typo's or minor clarifications, but should not be drastic changes.)
Yours,
Ylorea
p.s. This time, Manfred, I have to correct you, as you are right. -

#3I see your point but the order was made that way for those that edit their submission. Some may be small corrections but, all things equal, only a finished proofread submission should be put up in the first place ;) and shouldn't require minimal corrections.
The updates to the submission is why it was put that way in the first place, hasn't been a major factor yet. There are plenty of submissions that need more then a grammar fix and it was set up in the thought that these would be readdressed once updated.
The default sorting will remain as it is. I want the active submissions and freshly updated ones at the top of the list and not count on email links to get to them. That will not change.
For your second thought, if you want to see the TRUE MOST RECENT submission then simply click on "Most Recent" on the link list that is on every page and it will put it back into that sorting order.
Will think on the updating but not sure I want to change it back.
