Input Idea not working?

1. Input Idea not working?

   Hi Guys.
   
   I just have to ask, since I can't find the answer..
   
   Does "Input Idea" in the "quick" tab work?
   
   I have tried to submit several ideas, but when I press "Submit Idea" nothing happens. Is my level to low?

   As far as I'm aware by clicking on the table which shows extra perks that comes with leveling up, idea submission is never one of the perks. But I just tried inputting an idea from the quick menu and it worked for me.
   
   I think one of the first questions the admins would ask is what browser you using?

   Hum, I tested out inputting an idea and it worked for me except that I can't delete it now and so now on the front page, there is now a dummy idea titled testing.

   I'm using Chrome with the latest update. Should I use Edge/IE instead?
   
   I have no problem posting submissions, but somehow submitting an idea, just wont work..
   Is there a workaround?
   
   ..and, yes, we need someway to delete a "test idea"..  :wink:

   I'm not one of the official admins, just an established Strolenati, just saying that up front so you can take what I say accordingly (i.e. with a pinch of salt *wink*). So it's my understanding that Chrome tends to work better with the Citadel than IE although personally I'm an IE user and it tends to work fine for me with occasional hiccups.
   
   As to workaround around your submission problem, https://strolen.com/ideas/view, there is a link Write An idea on the right hand side if you scroll down a little. Try that to see if it works for you. If it doesn't, then it's a problem for Strolen and/or Val (they are the actual admins, there are more admins but they are the main ones for functions on the front page) to take.

   Val, are you talking about my test idea or the submitting idea bug? My test idea is still up there and I can't delete it. I can click delete but it does nothing.

   It's under July 8 (directly under the Florescent Alcoholic Fungus sub by Clem), there's an idea titled testing by me whose sole content is the word 'testing'. I clicked View and then the Delete link on the pop-up and then the processing circle thingy comes up but takes ages and then it goes and then I'm back to the pop-up after I clicked the View button. I just keep seeing this testing idea of mine and it can't be a browser cache problem cos I see this idea both from my home PC and work PC and obviously they got different IP addresses. So yeah, don't know what type of bug this is.

    I just tried submitting an idea from the "quick" tab using an iPhone and it worked perfectly. Will try again using Chrome.. 😊

    Thanks for the updates on attempts. Haven't been very active here lately (not entirely by choice).
    
    Major bug fixes will be looked into but anything minor will be left due to a coding rebuild in work that will refactor and change any issues that are currently going on here.
    
    I ask for a little bit of patience for a big payoff!
