   My long months of conquest and, well, regular questing have come to a close. The barbarian hordes have been pushed back beyond the Long River, and I return with my legions weighed down with the loot of a particularly annoying kingdom. It was just so inconsiderate of them to start that guerilla war after I burnt their apparently holy capitol city to the ground and salted the earth. I mean, really, know when you're defeated, am I right?
   
   Anyway, my pillages have come to a close. My men are weary, and the long months have weighed on me as well. It is good to be back.
   
   
   On a more serious note, hey guys! You're favorite reincarnation of Julius Caesar is back! And I figured that, since I didn't do one of these when I first joined I'd do one now for my rebirth. So, uh, yeah. Did I miss anything? In this post or in the events that I missed- I hope you guys didn't have to deal with another Catoclypse, for instance. Anyway, I'll stop rambling and see if you guys kept my chambers intact and how I left 'em.

   Welcome back Caesar, you've been missed! Nice re-intro post, makes me want to hear more of your tales of conquest and pillage. :) Did you bring back plundered snacks?

   Sorry, no plundered snacks. There just wasn't enough room with the giant statue encrusted with gold and gems. Next time, remind me, I'll pick some up for you.
   
   And valadaar, it seems you lack a certain amount of... imagination. Why kill Brutus once when you can crush his spirit over and over and over again? He's my new gladiator. Surprisingly, he's still alive. For now. We'll see after tomorrow's games... I hear they're planning a naval event.

   Muro that question was for Ceasar, don't try and hijack his triumph. Log out of your muro account first and log in as Ceasar before responding👹

   Yeah, I earned this triumph. I don't see you marching into Rome with barbarian kings in chains at the head of your legion carrying the gold of fallen empires. Nor do I see you making massive arches commemmorating how awesome you are.  :wink:
   
   And obviously its "veni, vidi, vici". "Alea iacta est" means there was a chance of me losing. Which is, frankly, a ridiculous notion.
