i dont know
#1Was reading the gods post in flesh it out and happened across a post from a fellow named "i dont know" that had posted smashed keys. just garbage like hjklhjkl sdf;asdfkl;. So I deleted it, but it bugged me that he was 4th level, so I went to find him and all his stuff to see if he had done other garbage like that elsewhere.
But I can't find him. I looked all through the member list, but he's not there. Has someone already taken care of him or is there a bigger problem here? -

#2I don't ever remember seeing that -
I think I can answer this one...
#3If you are not logged in, or can't log in, you can just type a name in the box and use that one. They all count against Guest's statistics.
Unable to log in one, Lazy Strolen, Forgetful one, and Guest, all have the same stats.
I personally think you should have to log in before you can post, but that is just me. This site does not have the problem so many sites do with "hit and run" posting and general annoymous stupidity, so it probably has not been a problem. Given the history, it probably will not be either. -

#4That makes sense.
Most of the anonymous postings are either out of laziness or accidents so there has been no purpose for leaving the anonymous open since it is not being used.
But then, as you said, it hasn't been a problem either. I am of the mind to just leave it until there is a problem, well, lets say a trend, in abuse.
Thank you for dealing with that Agar. -

#5No problem.
Is there a way to tag on "guest" or something similar to posts from people not logged in? I know it's not a problem (yet), but it would help clarify. -

#6Guests are pretty easy to spot, all they have is a "Status" which is always offline.
They have no post count, no joined date. Pretty plain looking. They are pretty obvious once you know how to recognize them.
I don't know how to add a "Guest" addition to the post but I will look into. Never hurts.
