The Christmas 5 day game

1. The Christmas 5 day game

   #1

So, a number of my regulars have agreed upon joining my short, 5 days to be exact, christmas game.

Each player can post 1-5 posts a day, for the duration of the game.

After 5 days, the game WILL be closed.

   Question #1: "The Game Setting"
Option A) You decide (Custom Made)
   Option B) Coldforged Dark Fantasy
Option C) Bleakwood Post Apocalyptical Game

   Question #2: "Game Type"
Option A) Into the action (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_medias_res) - Roleplay a single scenario, starting with an introduction text and character goals
Option B) Mythology - Shape history and evolution -  use your GM genes to spin a wild tale about the first days.
Option C) Armageddon - Live in the end time, witness extinction first hand

Intriguing but why the 5 day limit? (and not 7? or 30?) Given the usual issues people have with posting daily this close to the holidays I foresee the single encounter ending in the middle without closure.

Wouldn't just a "single encounter that runs until finished" approach work better so the players have some certainty of the scenario running to completion?

Of course you are right, Silvery One.

   However I have 2 desires:
   1. I got time restraints. I work a lot, with this company of mine, and I kinda like moneys. That leaves less time for what I love the most.... This place and Roleplaying in general.
   2. I want Murometz to participate. Muro loves GMing, but playing...? Not so much. But I gazed into my crystal ball, and it told me he will join a 5 day game.

So these 5 days starts when? Is that not including char/world creation then or?

I feel a scenario would probably be the most doable, but I'm open for anything.

Sitting here with Bailey's Irish Cream and a laptop. Tomorrow I got my annual christmas game, and I actually played just a few weeks ago too.

Things are about to change. This game will come to life tomorrow.

   Oh well.

Tabletop roleplaying stole all my time this christmas, and left precious little time for this site.

On one hand I am sorry I let you guys down, on the other hand... I fricken love tabletop gaming, man!

After new year I will sell a house, which means cleaning and more cleaning.

Yes... I have failed you guys.
