   This is one of those things that really shouldn't be a problem, but due to implementation issues, is. Definitely getting fixed in the rebuild. Possibly earlier, depending on timeframes.

   Yes, poor coding practice + trusting the user input + Mathom = Strolen Code
   
   That was not one of my more thought out implementations.

   So is all punctuation bad in freetext or just apostrophes?  Could we use U+02BB instead of U+0027?  I'm only asking because my other option is breaking everything trying to find out and I understand that that's frowned upon.
