   Two tangerines
   A large amount of chocolate, fudge and coconut ice treats including chocolate stars and a chocolate Father Christmas
   A mini Maglite torch with batteries
   A kaleidoscope
   One of those silly hair pressing things
   A pencil
   A set of coloured pencils
   A harmonica
   A mini-harmonica (sadly when I tried to put it around my neck the chain broke.)
   A laser pointer/pen
   A solitaire game
   Some luminous stick on stars for my bedroom
   A bright keyring torch from a Christmas Eve cracker
   A book mark
   A dice
   Two candy canes
   More then £11 ($22) in Christmas money.
   
   Ho Ho Ho! And that is just what is in my stocking.
   
   Under the tree I got
   
   -A book about Christmas in 1945 in the USA
   -A book called American Holocaust about how the New World civilisations were killed off
   -A book about the Johnson County War
   -A book about WW1 that would have been very good except that I had it already.
   A book about 1945 after WW2 was over, called "Year Zero"
   A book about the Dreyfuss case
   A long shirt of Lincoln Green that goes very well with the green trousers that I am wearing already. I am the Man in Green this Christmas Day.
   Some underwear (boring but useful)
   Some pyjamas (ditto)
   Two I-tunes cards worth £30 worth of free music in all
   £50 ($100) of Christmas money  (not that I can buy anything today with all the shops shut as they should be on this magical day.)
   A Go board and pieces (my favourite present and the number 1 gift on my list.)

   Congrats on the tangerines. I ask for them every year and never getting them. Beginning to doubt my belief in the magical red beast that whips reindeer into pulling him across the world.
   
   I recieved my coveted adalight setup: (it is all the stuff to make the lights around the TV)
   
   adalight 50 channel effect / WS2801 / lcd 40" / Prismatik soft
   
   This will be a New Year's week project with the family here.
   
   Also got some cold weather running gear that I needed desperately and a posh pair of headphones. I am not a  hardcore musicphile  by any means but a good pair of headphones change the experience ENTIRELY. (Got these if you are wondering: Grado Prestige Series SR80i)
   
   Those are my tops that I will be getting the most daily use out of. A few other outstanding gifts as well. It was an excellent Christmas.
   
   My son got some that I will benefit from as well. Got him the core, advanced and bestiary for Pathfinder. Figured it was popular enough, maybe I need to get into it a little bit. Anybody have started files/adventures for us, we are all ears. Especially character sheets. I love a good character sheet. Also had him jump into a kickstarter with his own money: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/alexklein/kano-a-computer-anyone-can-make. Excited to see how the coding portion of that is. He is excited about it. He spends a lot of time on minecraft doing some crazy stuff (and running his own server) so when he saw minecraft in the video for it and talked about programming, he jumped all over it. :)

   here in Scandinavia, old AyeGee got:
   -a hug from my daughter
   - to play some Lego Marvel with the kids
   - a Thai cookbook
   - Some spoons.
   
   other than that it was a quiet christmas. The most distinguishing feature of this christmas was the infernal headaches, that magically disappeared on christmas eve.

   Cheka, a Go board? Nice! I've always wanted one.
   
   What I got for Christmas:
   
   -The priceless look on the kid's faces when they opened their presents.
   -The priceless look on my wife's face when she opened the gift she wasn't expecting
   -A sweater, jeans, some home-made sock puppets, Lenovo laptop, new skis.

   Man, I feel like one of the parents here; my haul was rather minimal (which honestly isn't a bad thing; I don't need 'more stuff'):
   
   PS3 (my main gift; want to can haz movie player finally)
   Walmart gift cards (so I can buy a new pair of boots)
   A single Best Buy gift card
   A pair of Moccasin slippers
   Assassin's Creed 1 and 2, to go with the Assassin's Creed 3 that came bundled with the PS3
   
   It's rather amazing how as you grow up and get older, you much prefer the looks of joy on their faces when you give them gifts to actually receiving gifts yourself.
