Not that I expect us to act on this - this is more venting than anything else, but I've decided I really hate these as submissions.

I think this type of meta-posts should be restricted to the forums, or perhaps the Author page now that it is back.  They do not add anything to role-playing, and essentially form a standing rebuttal for Hammer-worthy discussions.

I don't have any issues with subs on voting, except to say, they are useless exercises in hubris :P

As in...I cant believe i just read 3 paragraphs describing the differences between someone voting something a 3 or a 3.5  :)

here's how I vote, for anyone interested (no one)...

I pick a number between 1 and 5, 1 being utter crap, 5 being excellent.

I agree, and that is even from having written one myself years ago.

I vote how I vote, and there isn't a rigid guideline. I try to remain impartial and unbaised, and I give a sub the vote I feel it has earned.

I kinda use the voting descriptions to vote. For me, since I wrote them, it says just about how I vote.

I don't care either way. Just meh. Some people like them so whatever.
