Problem with editing a sub
#1Everytime I've edited "But they're only minions..." I've had to fill in the name of the sub, over and over again. I thought this normal, untill I made other subs without having this problem. Now I can't edit the damn thing because when I fill in the name it says that there is allready a sub with that name, even though that is the very sub I'm trying to edit. I suppose this is due to my unfortunate use of quotes? -
Re: Problem with editing a sub
#2I see what you are saying. That is an odd one. Will have to figure out at what point there is a disconnect. I don't see why you can't have the quotes so will figure out how to allow it to show up on edit. -
Re: Problem with editing a sub
#3I had a simular issue trying to work with http://strolen.com/viewing/Kittens_Sir
I ended up with my own copy somehow with me as the author..

Re: Problem with editing a sub
#4Now, we have a 3rd case: 30 Symbols for Various Societies or Shop Signs. I tried to change category twice in one edit and suddenly I'm informed that: There is already a title called "30 Symbols for Various Societies or Shop Signs" and so I can no longer re-submit this sub.
Edit: I got out of the submission/editing screen and somehow and voila, 2 duplicate copies of the sub pops up on the front page. I'm able to delete my dup copy and the other one with the same sub id as the one I was able to delete remains. -
Re: Problem with editing a sub
#5It may create a duplicate in that case which I will get rid of. I am still working that one. -
Re: Problem with editing a sub
#6I put in another check that will hopefully keep from creating duplicates. I did some tests on Scras's fudged subs and it seemed to have worked for me.
Give it another try and let me know.
