Flying Islands and Gryphon Riders?

1. Flying Islands and Gryphon Riders?

There have been tales told in taverns and by caravaners that the city of Caulderon is once again in the skies over The Land.

You all know the story. The city was to fall in the sea. The alchemists and wizards made the city float. Now it is blown around the world by the wind.

Well some from the Western Coasts say that they have seen the island float through the sky. A city in the clouds. And that people riding Gryphons are raiding farms and towns, taking things up to the floating island.

   It is all daft.

Sometimes I wonder (or is it wander) if this idea was "stolen" from "the Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy"
or wheter douglas adams "borrowed" this idea from the D&D game....

Personaly I like his SEP field better as the floating city idea.
Of course I can still paint the floating city pink, then put a SEP around it and the city will never be seen again, except from the corner of your eye of course, but you will not believe it then.

Hated the book. Never got all the way through.

No. It is inspired by an old album cover and the fact that Dragon ryders seems overdone recently.. so Gryphons are put into play.
