Howdy doody. Just got this little fellah when I attempted to start a submission and choose a 'lifeform' category:

    A Database Error Occurred

    Error Number: 1064

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

    SELECT cat_id, cat_title, cat_page_title, cat_description FROM lockmor_categories WHERE cat_id =

    Filename: /home/strolen/public_html/models/msubmit.php

    Line Number: 21

Going back on firefox and selecting Lifeforms again fixed it up no problem, but just thought i'd let ya know.

    hmmmmmmm......

Either an anomaly or Cthulhu is coming up from the depths.

Very odd though. But Cthulhu often defies logic.

Figured out what this was. A rare one. I didn't have a default category selected. So if for some reason you refreshed without resending the selection from the category selection screen it would puke and vomit this error because it doesn't know what kind of sub you are writing.

I made the default NPC. Odds are you will rarely if ever get in this situation and it is easy to change if you do.

    Good find!
