    Well, what about sea dragons?
I would consider them to be more gentle than yer' usual red.
Water: Let's swim around, then I'll talk a bit, and if I like your style, I won't eat you!
Red: I'M GONNA BURN YOU! URAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!

    And then the Grehom breed:

...What the hell? It's not subzero? ...I like it here. I'm gonna take a nap. ZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZzzz... Eh? What're YOU? A human? What's that? You don't look too edible... Go away. Let me sleep.

yes, because dragons are so strong, people feel threatened, and the only way to abate that feeling is by destroying their threat. So being so powerful is a double-edged sword for the dragons. As for being omniscient, isnt that a paradox?
1-because you know everything, that means you know a way to discover something new.
2-because you know everthing, there is nothing new to discover.
3-combine the two, and it just doesnt work.

    Not necessarily.

If there is no way to discover something new, then you can't find the way to find something new.

And yes, smaller creatures tend to panic like that.

Do you blame them? Tell me I read in a diffrent thread that you believe that you were some sort Dragon in a past life. I have the utmost respect for that and want to know did you ever have a human friend(or other man-like race) or can you remember? if so what was that person like and what did you see diffrent in that indivdual that you either can't see or refuse to see?

 Sorry journalist coming out in me (sometimes just comes out of the blue)

Several. Some of them keep following me, or I them, from lifetime to lifetime.

And what makes you see something different in a friend of your own species?
    There's the answer.

i have no friends from my past life. I believ I was more of a rouge, an evil night as you will. Therfore I have only brought enemies. Maybe Kassil is one as we seem to have many animostities towards each other, I hope we can resolve past issues!

you know I am not sure I have a past life. I mean there are times when I think I might but I will usually just put it off as my imagination. I have always been told that it has away off running off with my thoughts!

I firmly believe that everyone has had a past life of some sort or other. Our current values reflect on who we were. (Semi-budhist, but not full, technically I am a Christian.)

    Eh.......
Well, if you like, sniperspy, if you like.
  12. Tarock Schmarock

    #92
yep, just as you are prone to randomness and grog!

What do you believe you were in another life, Sniperspy? Capn' do yu have any past life Nostalgia? My brother who is currently peering over my shoulder( which is a favorite past time of his) saw me type in "Nostalgia" and asked me what weird language I was typing in now... He thought it was one of the languages that He ha read with me on previous posts  He is such a dork!

i said earlier in this thread I though I was an evil knight in the medival times!
  15. Tarock Schmarock

    #95
sorry my mistake, What kinda things do yu remember I want to see if they are in any way similar to mine!
  16. Tarock Schmarock

    #96
well, I dont really remember anything. I jst have an amazing fascination with the times, and I understand them better and easier than most. Also, all evidence points more towards evil knight than good.
  17. Tarock Schmarock

    #97
    Eh......
I myself do not believe in past lives, but if that's your bag, you go on with all that.
Personally, I think that if you die, it's over. You're dead. No afterlife. No reincarnation. Just the end of activity in the brain, the oblivion of consciousness, the extinguishing of the spirit. Unless you become a ghost, of course.
  18. Tarock Schmarock

    #98
So you do believe in the power to become a ghost?
  19. Tarock Schmarock

    #99
It's not a power. It's an accidental happening.
  20. Tarock Schmarock

    #100
but that means that you do believe in an after life, after all the definition of a ghost is "the spirit of a dead person" if every one has teh ability to become a ghost what happens to the spirits that do not choose to become ghosts?
  21. Tarock Schmarock

    #101
    Simple. They cease to exist.

And one does not "have the ability to become a ghost". As I said before, it's an accidental happening.
  22. Tarock Schmarock

    #102
how can they "accidently" not cease to exsist. You know their is a religion that comes close to what you are saying I cannot remember the name I do believe it is Japanese though you see they believe in two souls when a person dies one soul dies however the other can remain living as long as it is remembered it eventually resulted in ancestor veneration!
  23. Tarock Schmarock

    #103
    That's Shintoism.

There's no real specific reason why a spirit refuses to snuff out, but usually it is some great sorrow or a connection to a specific place.
  24. Tarock Schmarock

    #104
I really am not sure where I got my beliefs, they just came to me.
  25. Tarock Schmarock

    #105
But sometimes, ya know, ya gotta wonder wether or not H.P. Lovecraft was really writing fiction, or if there really is some sort of evil being on our planet......
  26. Tarock Schmarock

    #106
well in all honesty I am A christian but I am open to diffrent Ideas As I am sure you are. Religion after all is a touchy subject. The funny thing is I didn't believe in ghosts until I heard about Clara Stevens (we won't go into that though) and I am not sure if I believe in past lives though I do have certian experiences that seem tied to a past that is not my own (or at least I don't think it is my own?) I for some reason Always get Shintoism and Sihkism mixed up even though they are from completly diffrent backgrounds and hold very diffrent beliefs!

Ya' know, if I were dying, and I was to be granted a last wish and it could be anything I wanted, I would want to measure the Pope for a scuba-suit.
  28. Tarock Schmarock

    #108
 even I didn't expect that one Capn'
  29. Tarock Schmarock

    #109
Well, I would! I want to measure the Pope for a scuba-suit! And also, I want to know what the Pope does all day. Does he sit around in his Papal Chambers in his Papal Underwear watching the Pope Channel? Or is, like, constantly on the road going to try and stand up in front of his followers?
  30. Tarock Schmarock

    #110
But still, I really want to measure the Pope for a scuba-suit.
  31. Tarock Schmarock

    #111
O kay one: I nevr really though about what the pope does all day.

and two: why a scuba suit why not some other form of clothing?
  32. Tarock Schmarock

    #112
    Dunno.
  33. Tarock Schmarock

    #113
 I think it's abird thing! you know with that scuba suit on he would resemble your type a little more.
  34. Tarock Schmarock

    #114
Eh. I can think of a couple other things that would be more entertaining than measuring the Pope for a scuba suit. But on the whole past lives thing... I honestly don't know where I stand on that. I've never had what I would call memories of past lives, but my dreams have never been what I would call coherent. I dunno. It's an interesting thing.
  35. Tarock Schmarock

    #115
well with me I feel that I have memories but I am not sure if they are real or just my wild Imagination! don't even get me started on dreams!
  36. Tarock Schmarock

    #116
I didn't say that it would be interesting....
I said that it was what I wanted to do.
  37. Tarock Schmarock

    #117
If not interesting then how would you feel?
  38. Tarock Schmarock

    #118
    Hmmm....Maybe it would be interesting....
    I dunno.
  39. Tarock Schmarock

    #119
I really htink that would be the best way to describe it. I still don't get teh scuba thing but to each their own!
