Default Editor
#1Can we get the main submission editor to have the same features as the forum editors?
I miss having the ability to easily change font size without using square brackets or switching to the HTML editor...

Re: Default Editor
#2Unfortunately it is a bbcode editor vs an html editor situation. Do I understand you like the forum editor better?
I see what you mean on the font size on the main site submission though. I can modify the H1 tags to do something more specific perhaps? There is a way to make custom buttons as well. I could create a specific set of classes to make larger fonts maybe?
Will look at it when I have more time! -
Re: Default Editor
#3Yes. I don't like to use tags unless I have to, but things like blockquotes for example are not possible without them.

Re: Default Editor
#4Blockquote is "quote" in the paragraph symbol dropdown.
I think I am confused on what is needed. I am not sure when you would necessarily use a larger font in a sub unless it was a heading, where the H1-4 tags should suffice. Those along with the blockquote are available in the drop down selector as buttons that will update the highlighted text just like in the forum.
If you can tell me specifically what you need that it is missing, I can try and figure out how to do it. The editor is pretty well coded to allow mods fairly easy. I just need specifics. -
Re: Default Editor
#5I think the request arose from unfamiliarity with the new editor. I didn't know that there was a drop-down with the different header tags and blockquote stuff until you mentioned it just then, Strolen. It's the second button on the left, labelled "Formatting". -

#6Ahhhhhhh
I saw that icon and thought, no, I _dont_ want visible spaces, so never clicked it....
